I love how honest you are. Even when you are super excited about a product and like a brand, you give your honest opinion. I was worried about some of those bushes bringing out the texture in my skin, and now know which to avoid.
a trick i learned with the rare beauty is putting a pore filling primer on my cheeks before foundation. really with any baked blush and it just makes it a bit more flattering ❤❤ thank you for all of these comparisons!!! 💜💕

I found I had a Nars cheek palette (shiny pink packaging, 6 pan) that had some similar shades to the Fenty blushes, all very glowy. That saved me from buying one.

I bought the make up forever palette at the Sephora Sale and I’m actually so happy with it! I have packed it for those days I ride my bike into work and get ready there or to touch up after a spa visit or a swim and it’s absolutely perfect for that. I have sometimes added a little powder blush on top and setting powder but I’ve literally done my whole face with one brush and one palette too. It’s been such a good purchase. It’s absolutely coming traveling this summer!
I like Kosis Dreamland, quite a natural colour and I'm liking the bit of a soft sheen that blushes seem to have in them now, you don't even need highlighter with them .. ..makes it easier to travel with less products... there were quite a few i like, too many to list after all the number you have!! And blushes are my fave❤❤❤😂😂😊😊😊😊
Cheek texture tips (im 54): 1 - if you tolerate niacinamide, use it. If I skip niacinamide serum for a week or two, my pores reappear, but starting at 52, i "corrected" my cheek texture dramatically simply by using The Ordinary niacinamide. If i use a serum with it, but not that high %, the texture reappears, so i stick with TO. 2 - If you wear glasses, the frames may break up and cover enough of that area that you can wear more luminous blushes, just apply while wearing the glasses and dont set any luminous formulas under the frames.
I got the Kosas blush in “Euphoria” and I’m loving it! Makeup is fun for me, not really an everyday but when I put it on I was soooo excited. No blush has made me that happy or excited ever 😅 also lovingggg the way the lawless blushes looked on you so I’m eyeing one of those maybe for my birthday ☺️ loved the video🩷
for what it's worth: if you break down the cost of the MUFE palettes, it's like $7.50 (depending on sales tax) per pan, which is less than you'd get if you bought each item individually from the drugstore. it's not a product I'd use personally, but if you're building a kit or your own personal makeup collection from scratch, and you think you'll get use out of everything, i think it's a good deal!
Kosas Blushes are a baked formula. Those usually have a kind of drier, powdery kind of feel to them. But they usually melt into the skin beautifully similar to creams since they start off as creams. I have dry skin so usually prefer creams/liquids, but baked formulas are my preferred powder formula! When I first got a baked formula I thought I was going to hate it because it felt so dry and powdery, but then I learned that’s just how they are!!! Also, you should try the Euphoria shade. It’s a cool toned pink mauve and it is BEAUTIFUL!! At least on my fair, very cool toned skin!
I have so much redness in my skin I thought I couldn't wear blush, then I discovered peach and coral colors and now I am hooked ! Wonderful video, thanks.

I’m in heaven. Thank you for giving this to the world. 😍 The NYX blushes are everything I wanted the Kosas blushes to be. I found the Kosas blushes to be a bit gritty and I’m not a huge fan of the shimmer particles in them. NYX really killed it with this formula!!! It’s so smooth and the sheen is really elegant. Gorgeous colors, too!
i’m loving the mauvey beige/sunkissed peach/nudie blushes. i’m also loving the choices between blurring blushes as well as blush/highlighter. i’m in between these: kosas, nyx, it cosmetics, morphe (even though i’m not a morphe girl), new em cosmetics, dm, lawless, nars, rem, dior, iconic london, lys, gxve, and armani. i’m waiting for my ulta order with my nyx and morphe blushes to come in. i wouldn’t pick up for the makeup forever face palette, and i will NEVER fkn order from unearthly again. i’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS and they lost my package months ago, and still haven’t responded to my emails and dm’s, or refunded me yet. you don’t do that to your customers!!! Just my opinion, but the Kosas blush is beautiful. I got the shade Euphoria, which is a BEAUTIFUL cooler toned mauve pinkish shade. It looks great on my fair, very cool toned skin. BUT, if you like a Sunkissed peach, you will LOVE the It Cosmetics sun blush in the lightest shade. On product photos it can look more pink toned with a hint of peach, but in person it looks more peach with a hint of pink. It’s the most unique, interesting texture and formula I’ve tried (and I’ve tried tons of liquid/cream blush/bronzer/etc. It says it’s 95% solid serum, which I’ve never heard of before. But the texture is so unique. It’s creamy but thin, kind of watery but not in a bad way. It’s just so unique! It’s hard to describe. And it’s really pigmented but blends out so easy. It’s really nice. I hope they make more shades of it!

I love brownish pinks and mauve tones but I don’t have anything close to the Kosas shade. It’s just different than other ones I thought would be similar. And it’s so hard to get unique formulas and/or shades nowadays because there’s so many products! So it’s always fun finding stuff that’s more unique! You’re welcome!! ❤️
I have the makeup forever HD light/ medium palette. I use a spatula and scrape just a small amount out and mix them on a pallet or the back of my hand. I’ll use the brush on the back of my hand or the mixing palette. I’ve mixed the pink and coral shades together and have mixed the blush shades with a bit of the bronzer shade to create a nude blush shade as well. I’ve used all the shades. I set my face with setting power.
Forgot to add that I have normal to oily skin. My skin used to be oily when I was younger. It’s become less oily once I hit my 40’s. I’ll be 47 next month.
Love this comprehensive video, awesome job 💕 I feel like Nyx is winning with their staples for a while now. My entire brow routine is Nyx. I also love their This Is Everything lip oil. They have super long lasting gel eyeliners (with twist up options, my favourite) in funky colours and I recently picked up their Butter Bronzer, to replace my more expensive and increasingly difficult to find Artclass by Rodin bronze/contour compact. It works super well with my uncooked chicken skin and isn't orange 👍🏻 Their stuff isn't super flashy (ignoring the recent Duck Plump ad campaign 😆) but it's really good quality and I can find it locally (Colorpop needs to be shipped across the pond and the import charges aren't pretty). I also find them to be more consistent in quality (at least the stuff I use regularly) than ELF, who are a comparable locally available brand.

I've been getting close to throwing out my peach blushes, but they look so good on you, and we have a similar skintone, that I am now seriously reconsidering.
So happy you set me on the right path with the Fenty blushes. I was eyeing those and although the packaging is gorgeous and some of the colors look pretty, they did not look good on the skin. Loved the video! I love when I can go one place and get the low down of all the recent launches
I’m usually not a drugstore person, but the Morphe blush specifically used with the little puff is really nice. I have combo skin and the color fades a bit but the texture always looks nice and blurred.
This was so helpful! Especially was excited to see the It Cosmetics blush since I thought it looked appealing but I don’t see a lot of creators trying it.
The It cosmetics blush is the most interesting texture I’ve ever tried!! It says it’s 95% solid serum, which I thought was interesting. But it’s a beautiful formula, and super unique texture I feel like!
Girl, you NEED the new Dior Bronze blush shade! Sunburn shade for sure!! I got it and was like oh no it’s going to be brown/bronzer when I looked at it in the pan but applied…. Has so much of a reddish burnt tone and it’s beautiful!!!!!
Also, Chantecaille is so freaking gorgeous, from the packaging to the actual product! I would buy it for the same reason I bought the Guerlain meteorites...the freaking tin they came in is stunning! HAHAHA!
You really took one for the team! I still continue to love my aboutface blush balms. I currently live in Korea and have combination skin. They are beautiful year round, affordable, easy to use in that the compact is the same color as the blush, nuanced as hell and from a pro choice brand. I hate that I have to order through Ulta here and it takes 2 months for an order!!! While I LOVE Korean skincare and always have, the makeup here is so different!
i have the unearthly spring magic blush palette, and very fair skin. i use all the shades, but to be fair i do extremely avant garde makeup lol. i do think their shade choices were interesting in that palettte, but honestly ive seeen so many boring blush palettes that it is refreshing to see a new version. i can get a regular palette anywhere. unearthly mixed it up and i love it. love your videos!
I have Feeling Butta from NYX. Shimmering terracotta. I literally put a note on the front to only use a dab. 😂😂😂😂it’s beautiful but you only need a lil bit. 😂😂
Ooooooh this is a fun upload! I got sent the it cosmetics sun blush in sun blossom, one shade lighter than the one you got. I love the glass packaging! It's schtick is that it's supposed to be blush and bronze in one but it's like just a cream blush dude. I love putting peptides on my face any chance I get. I apply to skin on no makeup makeup days and it works over foundation also!
The fenty blush lighters are so disappointing…. Thank you for showing us! I guess I’ll use my Nars orga** fourplay cheek palette and use Orgas*X and Orga** together to give me that coral peachy pink with gold sheen look…. or Orgas* on the beach palette. Oh!! And remember those Nabla blushes??!! I can use that too.

Great idea putting a pore filling primer in cheek area when using rare beauty or Fenty blushes. I have texture too in my older age.

I usually apply a matte, more blurring matching blush before using the shimmery ones to minimize texture too. Great idea with the pore filler.

I’ve had a similar issue with them. I made an order August 2023 and still haven’t received three palettes from that order. They won’t respond.

So happy you set me on the right path with the Fenty blushes. I was eyeing those and although the packaging is gorgeous and some of the colors look pretty, they did not look good on the skin. Loved the video! I love when I can go one place and get the low down of all the recent launches
I’m usually not a drugstore person, but the Morphe blush specifically used with the little puff is really nice. I have combo skin and the color fades a bit but the texture always looks nice and blurred.
Those makeup forever blushes look so lovely on you!

This was so helpful! Especially was excited to see the It Cosmetics blush since I thought it looked appealing but I don’t see a lot of creators trying it.
The It cosmetics blush is the most interesting texture I’ve ever tried!! It says it’s 95% solid serum, which I thought was interesting. But it’s a beautiful formula, and super unique texture I feel like!
Girl, you NEED the new Dior Bronze blush shade! Sunburn shade for sure!! I got it and was like oh no it’s going to be brown/bronzer when I looked at it in the pan but applied…. Has so much of a reddish burnt tone and it’s beautiful!!!!!
We need a liquid bronzer version of this!!
Also, Chantecaille is so freaking gorgeous, from the packaging to the actual product! I would buy it for the same reason I bought the Guerlain meteorites...the freaking tin they came in is stunning! HAHAHA!

You really took one for the team! I still continue to love my aboutface blush balms. I currently live in Korea and have combination skin. They are beautiful year round, affordable, easy to use in that the compact is the same color as the blush, nuanced as hell and from a pro choice brand. I hate that I have to order through Ulta here and it takes 2 months for an order!!! While I LOVE Korean skincare and always have, the makeup here is so different!
i have the unearthly spring magic blush palette, and very fair skin. i use all the shades, but to be fair i do extremely avant garde makeup lol. i do think their shade choices were interesting in that palettte, but honestly ive seeen so many boring blush palettes that it is refreshing to see a new version. i can get a regular palette anywhere. unearthly mixed it up and i love it. love your videos!

I got sent the it cosmetics sun blush in sun blossom, one shade lighter than the one you got. I love the glass packaging! It's schtick is that it's supposed to be blush and bronze in one but it's like just a cream blush dude. I love putting peptides on my face any chance I get. I apply to skin on no makeup makeup days and it works over foundation also!
I really liked so many of these but the it cosmetics was very nice on you, the shade and the formula.
I want to see the new shades of the EM cosmetics blushes!! I like those better than Kosas.

The fenty blush lighters are so disappointing…. Thank you for showing us! I guess I’ll use my Nars orga** fourplay cheek palette and use Orgas*X and Orga** together to give me that coral peachy pink with gold sheen look…. or Orgas* on the beach palette. Oh!! And remember those Nabla blushes??!! I can use that too.
