Hi Tornado922. Great rush hour film at Cologne Central. Regarding the chaps having Pizza on the edge of the platform at 21:43, at least they were sitting where they were so that they were in no danger from any incoming or outgoing services. Looking forward to watching the next film at Koblenz Central. Kind regards, Chris.
@@Tornado922 indeed the differences are in the system and of course the length and color of the trains while the E320 is a 16 coach EMU and having the Blue,Yellow and Silver color with the new Eurostar logo, The BR 407 and BR408 are 8 coach EMU's and have the White with the Red stripe in the colors of DB Fernverkehr (the part of DB AG wixh provides all the long distance trains so as the Intercity, ICE and Eurocity trains)
@Tornado922 the ICE trains wich you mentioned are indeed the ICE 1 BR401,ICE2 BR402 and the ICE4 BR412 (but there's a subserie of namely the BR 412.2 is a 7 car set, the BR412.0 is a 12 car set and the BR412.4 is a 13 car set often refered as the ICE4 XXL)but the ICE set you mention at 16:19 is not an ICE T the ICE T BR411 and BR415 are 5 and 7 car sets and the ICE TD diesel 4 car set are ICE train sets wich look the same as the ICE3 but with a nose and a not so smoorh bow valve) the ICE3 403 sets are only allowed to drive services in Germany the BR 406 is allowed to provide services from Basel SBB and Frankfurt am Main HBF to Brussel Zuid/Midi and Amsterdam Centraal and the BR 407 is allowed to beside Germany to provide services to Paris Gare du Est together with the TGV Duplex and BR408 ICE3 Neo will replace the ICE3M br406
I'm surprised NatEx has The Rhein-Ruhr Express franchise given their poor performance on The UK Rail scene in the past Jarred. Also there is another type of DMU in Germany that tilts it's The Class 612 They usually run out of Dresden to places such as Nuremberg. They're Named RegioSwingers. As with The Class 442 Talent-2's they're nicknamed Hamster Cheeks. The clue is in their fronts.
I think some of the designs in the trains over in Germany is absolutely fantastic! I guess you can have a poor performance running trains in the UK but as long as you don't let if affect some of your other operations then you'll be good to go
You have to know where to look in order to see them, also the units are quite badly weathered down there so it can be difficult to find. Yes this is Germany
Apologies if the quality isnt good at the moment. TH-cam is taking longer to process the HD version than normal
Bruh ok then 💀 💀 💀
Lovely station with all traffic coming off the bridge & some amazingly lengthy trains.
It's a lovely station to come to for a few hours

Thanks very much, I just love the fact they were happily sat there eating pizza at the end of a station without a care in the world haha
The newest ICE sets are based on the Eurostar E320 sets, so the British Rail class 374 in this case.
I can see the similarity

Thank you ever so much for that information, it is greatly appreciated :)
@@Tornado922 your welcome
Well, it is actually more exciting than I would imagine.
Did I see two different trains going one after another the same track in the beginning of the video?
Correct! Exciting as a whole truth be told!
@31.38 That's the driver's way of waving at you rather than using the horn.
Another great video overseas. 😀
thank you very much :)
does anyone know where the best place to stand is if i was to go trainspotting at peterborough?
The southern end of P4

Why don't we have double decker trains in the uk yet? We are so behind it's unreal.😂
Honestly we could learn a lot from the European rail network
Tornado: these are some long trains
America: hold my beer
I do want to do some filming in America
@@Tornado922 then you could film on the North-East Corridor
