This camera has completely changed the way an average joe like me can film while participating in snow sports. It is truly the best way to film stable and crisp footage on the mountain without ever missing a shot!

i agree. go pro stereo audio > canon 90D stock audio. Go pro stereo audio > pretty much anything unless you want to capture stereo sound with much more expensive equipment ($300 audio recording gears) and you eq/comp post-recording. Go pro nailed capturing human voice for outside/street purpose. Perfect for youtube style video.

Other than the audio it has go pro beat!
not even close, the Gopro Max has far better resolution and the benefit of full res storage on the cloud so you don't have to clutter up your own device with huge files.
Thanks for sharing all your adventures during the winter. It was great to get back to Whistler in February this year after missing out in 2021. Had all sorts of trouble with my GoPro 9 battery shutting down, have since been able to purchase the Enduro batteries in Australia, hopefully this solves this issue? Will probably wait for the Insta 360 One X3, which hopefully would have fixed some of the issues you spoke about. Do you colour grade your footage or just use the cameras default? I’ll keep my eye out for your next season and hopefully catch up for a taste of hot sauce? Keep shredding, from down under.⛷

I don't colour grade at all, I use the default settings and I think they do a great job in most lighting situations on the mountain.
Hopefully we can sip some sauce together next year!
