I mean, as a Mexican the first 3 tacos seemed pretty accurate and the last 2 look like very good "remixes", especially the tostada shrimp tempura one, which I can totally see as a dish in a bougie Japanese-Mexican fusion restaurant. As long as it is fishy, zesty and goes well with beer, it's a fish taco.
As an Ohioan I'd love some of those. You don't really get that type of stuff unless you go some place fancy. It's usually just mystery fish taco. I guess we miss out on the glory of everyday seafood like the coastal people.
I recommend beer-battered fish tacos with pico de gallo and a light sour cream sauce. Every time I make them for my family they are always a hit. You can use tilapia, perch or cod.
I am the caterer on a tv show shot in Nova Scotia. Most of the crew are from California and once a month I make them fish tacos. I make the guacamole and salsa and the shells. To be honest I haven’t had a fish taco before either and I love them. I made so many different ones. Panic haddock, salmon, lobster, and tuna. I can’t get enough of them. I’m so glad you did this video. They’ve become one of my favourite foods!!!!
Can you get fresh tortillas in Nova Scotia? My brother moved to a part of the US with few Mexicans back in the early 90s and he had to buy them frozen.
So how much money do we have to pay you to just go all out and do "The Facts Crew do America?" - you give them enough of our food, now just let them loose in Texas and see what happens.
As a native Irish person who lived in Texas for four years, it's... interesting. I, myself, noticed that a lot of southern American slang sounds a *lot* like Irish words spoken in Irish. Papo (I can't fada right now because of keyboard restrictions, even with alt-codes because they don't work if you don't have a number-pad to type in the alt-codes) and Mamo... those became Papaw and Mamaw. The pronunciations are similar. They, like I was, might be surprised by how much southern culture coincides with Irish culture.
Amarinth Stargazer Well the white population of the South has generally been far more from the British isles than the rest of America (North had lots of Dutch and Germans early on), with the Protestant Scots-Irish being the main block of people who settled Appalachia. So there is a pretty strong Celtic influence, and the English who came there were more lower class English who would have had very different accent than modern English. So it doesn't surprise me to find Gaelic influence, whether it's from Irish or Scottish Gaelic or both. Heck, country music is pretty much an evolution of traditional Celtic music with a bit of West African influence.
I want the Facts folks to come to Missouri and I'd take them to Wal-Mart ( they would be blown away ) , The Bush Brewery , The Saint Louis Arch and a lot , lot more.
"oh my taco's dripping..." bro...lmfao Just a note for those who may not know, we have an official fan group on fb called "facts fans" where the fans and contributors get together to talk about almost anything! If you want to join you just have to answer "yes" to a few questions to prove you're not a spambot and we'll approve you. Hope to see ya'll there!
We actually have a national fish day over here, all the fish or meals with fish is half price for that day, needless to say nearly every house in Ireland eats fish and chips on that day haha
Nadia Mohamed , yeah of course we do haha, we have fish with plenty of stuff and on its own, but if you go to a chipper they'll have fish and chips meals
Despite my not liking fish or seafood in general, I enjoyed your video. I love to see people enjoying their meals. Love your videos. Keep them coming :)
Actually, they looked about right. Good job! The only thing is that if it's wrapped in lettuce, it's a lettuce wrap... not a taco. Some of those look much better than some of the ones I've had a real fish taco places. You did an outstanding job this time.
I feel like this is the best people try a type of food video ever. Every one, I’m like “yup, that’s an actual popular and common thing.” Good job researcher.
These are great. But they are upscale, fancy spins on the fish taco concept. The original fish taco was sold from a beach side shack in Baja California, with battered fish, cabbage and maybe some hot salsa. It was street food/beach food. These are fish tacos that were messed with by a chef with a culniary school degree.
The ould Atlantic Ocean is a bit dodgh weather wise when ye are in small wooden boats...lrish Tribes were agrarian and hunter gatherer but didnt really venture out to open ocean to fish. Plus seamonsters 😎
Traditionally the Irish export almost all the fish they catch. It dates back at least as far as the days of English rule when the English overlords took just about everything, but potatoes. That's how an island surrounded by very bountiful waters that was still producing lots of lamb, mutton and beef damn near starved to death during the potato blight.
Awesome to see you guys liked all the tacos! Kind of bummed you didn't do a traditional baja fish taco though. Why was put in a piece of lettuce instead of a tortilla? lol
Can never see the word taco without reverting to Jim Carrey in the film me,myself and Irene , Vagisil moment " got a little extra cheese on your taco" 😂
(Feedback) (Raspy Voice) PRICE CHECK ON VAGI-CLEAN AISLE 5. I REPEAT, PRICE CHECK ON VAGI-CLEAN AISLE 5. THAT'S VAGI-CLEAN. WE GOT A COSTUMER DOWN HERE WITH FALLON FALLOPIAN FUNGUS. SHE'S BAKING A BREAD AND I THINK IT'S SOURDOUGH. (SNIFFS) PUT A RUSH ON THAT.
Are you irish, like the people in the video? You get giddy off of child humor, like children. You're that secluded in the world? Jesus. I'm honestly curious. Do all of irelands people break down at the mention of sexual innuendo, or is it a mix of all irelands island? Does northern ireland have the same childlike responses?
I guarantee you Ryan was as far as he could get and still be in Ireland from this shoot. If Ryan had been there, there would have been a perch and peanut butter taco.
I love Baja style fish tacos. When they're done right they're my favorite taco (batter fried fish, shredded cabbage, crema, pico de gallo and lime squeezed on top). I can eat three or four of them no problem.
Facts, showing the evolution of Lolsy, from moderately quiet, to brilliantly animated. So hope to see one of her live shows one day, she cracks me up, as do so many of the Facts gang.
To the fish stick guy... 💓 I'm the same way. I have totally made fish tacos at home using the beer battered frozen (then baked) fish fillets, tortilla shells, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and chillies, shredded cheese, and tartar sauce mixed with sour cream. Yummy.
Who the HELL...knows how to cook all this great food...for all these videos...and get the food and the taste so spot on? THAT is a video and THAT is the person... I'd like to see.
Lol I love your videos, my hubby calls you my Irish friends. But this video inspired such a raging pregnancy craving I was ready to go stomp into the ocean with a spear, a tortilla and a lime! Luckily I found restaurant nearby.
I also hate hard tacos. Like, why are you making my life so hard? They always break down the center after the first bite, and then you have more of a hard sandwich than a taco, but all the filling is on one side and starts falling out all over the place. Like, why? why? Why not just use a soft taco like a sane person?
If you like the crunch of a hard taco but hate the mess, double up with a soft tortilla on the outside of the hard taco, usually glued together with refried beans or cheese.
Why the hell do I enjoy watching irish people eat for entertainment? Why are there over a million people joining me???
For their personalities and reactions.
It's the faces they make and the comments which are so amusing.
That’s an easy one....because Irish!
Tacos. I mean fish. I mean tacos. Dammit. I'm distracted today.
Because it's a refreshing change from watching American people eat food from different parts of the world! 😛
Mahi-Mahi, the fish so nice they named it twice.
It was a re-named fish; it used to be called Dolphin Fish. Can't imagine why they'd re-name it.
I am totally convinced, Laura is an angel. She's clearly here just on holiday or something.
George's description of what the comments section will say is the truest description of TH-cam comments ever
Nadia Mohamed Do they read them together?
Laura is love. Laura is life.
How can we judge if it goes well with beer, though?
I mean, almost all fish dishes go well with beer, tho I guess the fastest way is to crack open a cold one
Ovidio Rodriguez I think what he was getting at is that, if it goes well with beer, you'll be drunk before your taste buds catch up
I like how you start all of your sentences with "I mean."
@John Doe Just because you eat shit doesn't mean everyone else does. I at plenty of fish tacos all up and down the pacific coast.
wow the guy with the long beard was so happy in this video haha i don't think i've ever seen him this enthusiastic about anything in a video before xD
the power of tacos.
Some guys just really enjoy eating a good moist fish taco
I have. Anytime they drink.
I think they all are drunk.
k a y l e e , if you want to see the beared guy REALLY happy, watch the one where they eat Westeros food.
As a San Diegan I approve of the taco selection. Variation is to be expected so well done whoever procured/made these.
Casey June same!
I'm sure that they would currently approve of our weather here in SD as well
Not really it's been raining like crazy but at least it got sunny and warm..but then it's supposed to rain more later lol
GiGichan666 just started again... and I got a fever... the only cure is fish tacos.
As an Ohioan I'd love some of those. You don't really get that type of stuff unless you go some place fancy. It's usually just mystery fish taco. I guess we miss out on the glory of everyday seafood like the coastal people.
Laura is officially the cutest human on earth. ❤
Ashley Toth agree, and Nicole is right there with her.
yesss OMG
Lolsy is!
Brooklyn hat, Florida shirt, guy from Ireland. It's all over the place!
Hes gotta let people know hes been to America
somnambulus
Well yeah it's pretty popular around the world to get clothes with cities and states and counties on them.
Irish people react to “Americans trying to read Irish names” ❤️
Caleigh Aleeen I only learned how to say Blaithin like a month ago
+biohazard724 you actually know? I just sorta keep guessing and hope one day I'll get it right
They did a show on how to pronounce Irish names a few years ago.
SirLyonhart Ah cheers found it
Caleigh Aleeen hahahaha yes!!!
Laura is so lovely with her hair like that.
Did Laura say she’s never eaten a taco? Ireland is deprived.
Did somebody say taco?
Stephen make sure if you are going to make them yourself to mix 1 can corned beef with your minced beef. Best way ever to make them. Texas style baby!
Lisa Clevenger , duly noted haha
Lisa...corned beef hash you mean? Never thought of that...
Right? Way to make up for lost time, though. Those tacos looked amazing.
When Laura said, “I love fish”, did anyone else flashback to the surstromming” when she said, “I love fish! I LOVE fish! You’ve ruined fish for me!”
YAAAS!!! Lolsy is back and she's in top form. Funny, cute, happy and juat a joy to watch... :-D
I recommend beer-battered fish tacos with pico de gallo and a light sour cream sauce. Every time I make them for my family they are always a hit. You can use tilapia, perch or cod.

Sarina is so gorgeous 😍
Facts is by far my favorite TH-cam program. Love y'all!

I say let them tour the whole US... except Nyc and LA... no need to subject them to that crap.
I want the Facts folks to come to Missouri and I'd take them to Wal-Mart ( they would be blown away ) , The Bush Brewery , The Saint Louis Arch and a lot , lot more.
I've tried to suggest that they do St. Louis foods. Whatever would they make of St. Paul sandwiches, toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake?
I love love LOVE it when Brian does his little dance!!!😍😍👍🏼👍🏼😍😍👍🏼👍🏼🙌🏼
So this one doesn't need a cuppa tea? 😋😝
just a beer :P
Agua fresca.
Serve the alcohol already!
beer
I enjoy these videos tremendously, and this one flowed really nicely. Well done Facts!
Im a simple man. I see Laura, I watch it.

best quote ever lol
SO NICE to see everyone enjoying themselves. You guys don't always/ever have to torture yourselves to make a good video.
When he said "my taco's dripping" it was her laugh that made me laugh
Glad y’all are discovering the joys of fish tacos!
Laura, Nicole, and Sarina in the same video....hotness overload!
Despite my not liking fish or seafood in general, I enjoyed your video. I love to see people enjoying their meals. Love your videos. Keep them coming :)
Lauras's never had tacos!!!!?!??!
Well, guys, that's madness.
You need to do a taco episode just for Laura.
If they do it, need to try barbacoa and chicharrón tacos...
Irish People Perform A Taco Intervention
Rodrigo Canseco
YES!!!
Pero con tacos de México, not the gringo ones
I love these people. If I hit the lottery Facts will be taping all over America.
Actually, they looked about right. Good job! The only thing is that if it's wrapped in lettuce, it's a lettuce wrap... not a taco.
Some of those look much better than some of the ones I've had a real fish taco places. You did an outstanding job this time.
I am super jealous. All those look amazing.
And Happy Fish Day, Laura!
The girl in the yellow shirt always makes me laugh. Thank you!!!
I feel like this is the best people try a type of food video ever. Every one, I’m like “yup, that’s an actual popular and common thing.” Good job researcher.
Blackened mahi is GOOD
Bring these videos back please ! ❤
I know we say this about all the Facts ladies, but Sarina is so pretty. She's got these big, expressive eyes that are very charming. Good on ya.
Laura’s mahi mahi face is hilarious! This was a great video.
These are great. But they are upscale, fancy spins on the fish taco concept. Exactly what I'm saying! This experiment is incomplete without a proper Ensenada style fish taco. Don't leave out the crema!
This is my favorite dish on earth! I'm so going fishin' right now from watching you awesome people!
I believe in the power of the almighty taco. In taco we trust. Hail taco, full of grace. Taco into your hands I commend my spirit....
I like tacos.
Taco bow Misty, you so rock
Happy fish day to you too, Laura! Coincidentally, I had fish tacos for lunch at the market today, and they were lovely
... but but you didn't finish with a choco-taco, the lol surprise was missed
ri
That would've been hilarious! But, Laura *hates* chocolate; so, that would've been a big nope for her.
but how many times do we get reactors hating peanut butter, but it's there So Much ?
Good call. I haven't had a choco-taco in forever
Their reactions are the best!!!
I just gotta say.... Such a glorious beard ya got there! ❤
I love watching these. I love the Irish!!!!
I think its really odd that the Irish don't eat more fish. I mean, its an island.
That's how an island surrounded by very bountiful waters that was still producing lots of lamb, mutton and beef damn near starved to death during the potato blight.
in South Florida we love Mahi tacos in a soft flour tortilla. Mahi Mahi-so nice they named it twice :)
Wheres the taco part 😂 thats cute. The tortilla is the missing part. Now im hungry for tacos...hmmm
Ali B
I made 5. I tried to stop at 4 but I failed.
Awesome to see you guys liked all the tacos!
Kind of bummed you didn't do a traditional baja fish taco though. Why was put in a piece of lettuce instead of a tortilla? lol

Nicole has my heart for laughing at dripping taco 😍
Where the fuck has Ryan been?
I miss him
I guarantee you Ryan was as far as he could get and still be in Ireland from this shoot. If Ryan had been there, there would have been a perch and peanut butter taco.
Waste of perfectly good food when he's on camera.
flinx
He is a grumpy little Muppet. But he's funny as hell.
He was just in the last video.
Pretty sure he’s somewhere clubbing...baby seals, that is
I love Baja style fish tacos. When they're done right they're my favorite taco (batter fried fish, shredded cabbage, crema, pico de gallo and lime squeezed on top). I can eat three or four of them no problem.
Def need Laura Emoji's.
Polaritypictures she’s so cute she’s already halfway to cartoon!
I've never ate a fish taco but you guys make it look so good
I really want to meet the Facts contributors. At a restaurant.
Facts, showing the evolution of Lolsy, from moderately quiet, to brilliantly animated. So hope to see one of her live shows one day, she cracks me up, as do so many of the Facts gang.
Omg! He's wearing a Key West top 😍😍😍
Lauren Doyle
I loved that, too....
lol “I’m sure the comment section will tell you calmly and only once...”
Happy Fish Day!
Those all looked amazing.
They seriously need some real Baja Californian fish tacos, specifically from Ensenada (Fenix Fish Tacos). It's a religious experience.
_"...it's a religious experience."_ That made me laugh out loud, brilliant.
Long time ago, I been there, and are the most delicious experience... Mostly los de camarón, con salsita verde y la tártara...
laragab1 “el fénix” is the best!!!! So is “el paisa” but those aren’t fish haha
What kind of fish do they use (most popularly)? Sounds really good.
Tilapia fish
To the fish stick guy... 💓 I'm the same way. I have totally made fish tacos at home using the beer battered frozen (then baked) fish fillets, tortilla shells, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and chillies, shredded cheese, and tartar sauce mixed with sour cream. Yummy.
Happy fish day!
Ceviche fish tacos, that is the best, made some myself from scratch last month, it was awesome
Irish People watch In Living Color
Woody Would do what ya wanna do
Handy man or Jim Carrey's karate instructor
“Hey....uuuuhhhhhh ha....happy fish.....day” 😂😂 best line ever!!
The first thing they do is put Salmon in the tacos... SAL-LU-MON IN THE TACOS!!
thepokekid01 salmon and chipotle are so good together though. I've had it in both taco and sushi form and they were delicious.
Yall always cheer me up

This video came on while I was eating dinner. I’m eating fish tacos! Taco-ception!!!!
Good on ya for liking all them fish tacos, life is grand!

I would so love that red head for life!
I'd feed her fish tacos everyday
Laura is fabulous. As are Nicole & Sarina.
Someone needs to get Laura an "Aristocats" tee shirt!
Isn't she dating that other guy?
Courtenay Courier nope
I'm glad you guys got to try fish tacos. They are a fav of mine. Really are best on a beach with a beer an a shot of tequila.
It is Tuesday
I'm glad they liked them; I LOVE fish tacos!!!
Hey... happy fish day.
Who the HELL...knows how to cook all this great food...for all these videos...and get the food and the taste so spot on? THAT is a video and THAT is the person... I'd like to see.
we call that mahi mahi in hawaii. but know as dolphin fish
Dolphin fish, not the mammal.
And also known as Dorado in Mexico. They're a blast to catch and delicious to eat
Yep - had a couple shots at them on fly - and delicious!
Snapjockey yes. Here in Florida we call that bottlenose bass...
Thomas Y no im positive they understood it just perfectly?????
Lol I love your videos, my hubby calls you my Irish friends. But this video inspired such a raging pregnancy craving I was ready to go stomp into the ocean with a spear, a tortilla and a lime! Luckily I found restaurant nearby.
Laura is one of my favs like if you agree
I wish I was able to try all of these tacos. Looked SOOO freaking good!
I also hate hard tacos. Like, why are you making my life so hard? They always break down the center after the first bite, and then you have more of a hard sandwich than a taco, but all the filling is on one side and starts falling out all over the place. Like, why? why? Why not just use a soft taco like a sane person?
Danielle Spargo yeah, but there’s something so satisfying about a good “crunch.”
That's the American spin on it...when white people got involved with tacos.
If you like the crunch of a hard taco but hate the mess, double up with a soft tortilla on the outside of the hard taco, usually glued together with refried beans or cheese.
Danielle Spargo have you ever tried a walking taco? If not its all the taco stuff in a small bag of Fritos or Doritos
Danielle Spargo that's is because that's not a taco is the taco Bell tortilla and is hard
Nicole's reaction after the guy said "My taco's dripping" was the best.
Uh oh, everything was great in this video. That means the next one will be disgusting right? IT'S A TRAP!
There was a great deal of positivity in the video. Almost unprecedented levels of happiness. Did you get everyone high before you started filming?
