Again, America is massive compared to other countries. That means there are American dishes that someone on the other side of the country doesn't know.

I don't think most of these are representative American Seafood dishes. Clam Chowder much more common than Crab chowder, fish burger way more common than shrimp burger, ect. Most of the dishes seem to emphasize fast food rather things that would actually be ordered at a seafood restaurant.
I live in New England and the only thing you'd find from this is the lobster roll. There's no crab chowder or shrimp cakes, its CLAM chowder and CRAB cakes. Literally everything else (shrimp, scallops, haddock, etc) is fried, except for salmon which is grilled.

Woop shrimp burgers are really popular here in NC but they look nothing like that. No patty. Fried or grilled shrimps with slaw and tartar and hot sauce if you want sauces. Basically a po boy but slaw instead of lettuce tomato and chipotle mayo.

I've lived in Florida my entire life and the closest we come to a shrimp burger is a shrimp pocket and they are absolutely delicious. Think pita bread with lettuce and tomato and delicious fried shrimp inside with a tangy mayo sauce.
Suggestions for a follow up. Instead of crab chowder, go with New England clam chowder. If you need a crab soup, go with crab bisque or she-crab soup. Try cioppino from San Francisco. Maryland crab cakes. Low country boil (thought, that's kind of involved).
I feel like in order to get comical responses you guys are giving them samples that most Americans don't actually eat. Most of the dishes in this video are not common. I've never even seen a shrimp burger. Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl is one of the best things on the planet.

For fuck's sake, who cooks these dishes for you or suggests the recipes? they are all wrong and vile. First, if lobster is chewy it's because it was over cooked. It should practically melt in your mouth and be very sweet when cooked properly. Also, Crabcakes would have been a better choice then shrimp burgers because no one eats or sells shrimp burgers. Also, clam chowder or lobster bisque are the classic seafood soups. Not crab chowder. And those fish tacos looked vile. Wrong type of fish and wrong type of everything was what was wrong with those tacos! I could go on but you get the point. Also, blackened catfish, oyster Po' Boy sandwiches, shrimp-n-grits, seafood salad etc...are more American then what they were given but weren't represented. Hopefully they'll fix this and film another episode with proper food, like they did with the horrible flat pie incident!

I don't think most of these are representative American Seafood dishes. Clam Chowder much more common than Crab chowder, fish burger way more common than shrimp burger, ect. Most of the dishes seem to emphasize fast food rather things that would actually be ordered at a seafood restaurant.

I live in New England and the only thing you'd find from this is the lobster roll. There's no crab chowder or shrimp cakes, its CLAM chowder and CRAB cakes. Literally everything else (shrimp, scallops, haddock, etc) is fried, except for salmon which is grilled.

Woop shrimp burgers are really popular here in NC but they look nothing like that. No patty. Fried or grilled shrimps with slaw and tartar and hot sauce if you want sauces. Basically a po boy but slaw instead of lettuce tomato and chipotle mayo.

I've lived in Florida my entire life and the closest we come to a shrimp burger is a shrimp pocket and they are absolutely delicious. Think pita bread with lettuce and tomato and delicious fried shrimp inside with a tangy mayo sauce.

It should practically melt in your mouth and be very sweet when cooked properly. Also, Crabcakes would have been a better choice then shrimp burgers because no one eats or sells shrimp burgers. Also, clam chowder or lobster bisque are the classic seafood soups. Not crab chowder. And those fish tacos looked vile. Wrong type of fish and wrong type of everything was what was wrong with those tacos! I could go on but you get the point. Also, blackened catfish, oyster Po' Boy sandwiches, shrimp-n-grits, seafood salad etc...are more American then what they were given but weren't represented. Hopefully they'll fix this and film another episode with proper food, like they did with the horrible flat pie incident!
