Happy to see you picked up the new USA Freereign and showcased the Demko goodness, hands down one of, if not, my favorite makers along with Les George. They just make ‘em right 😎
Awesome I got my first cold steel arriving Saturday night it during a labor day sale it's S35VN to definitely a straight up keeper from everything I'm hearing I can't wait
Thanks for the video mate, your videos are always well balanced and unbiased, based on truth 👍 thanks again for the interesting and great content...always a pleasure to watch
That's why i carry an AD10. It's a little chunky , but it's worth it to me to know that it's not gonna fail. I'm never sure what i might ask my knife to do.
I just don’t understand hard-use knives in M390. Obviously geometry is more important, but M390 chips and cracks too easily to hard use with confidence.
But given the same construction method scaled up to match material thickness hardware grade layout etc. Wouldn't thicker material always be stronger pound for pound?
Should have said oz for oz* also that maxace sandstorm 2.0 is just about as perfect design as I could get. Love everything about it . If I were to make it my perfect knife it would be s125v or magnacut or damasteel with a polished dlc finish but now I'm just being silly
@@metal_complex yeah plus the tooling and ramping up for full production. Man if I was a bit smarter maybe knife companies like kunwu reate bestech maxace wouldn't seem like wizards to me
I EDC a claymore. My neighbors love me. Got rid of that pesky Dark Knight problem we where having. I aint talkin about Batman neither brother, tell you whut.
The original. Cold steel recon 1. Knife is a beast among animals. And you can batton a folder. Do not lock it open. Let the handle Hang along side of peice of wood and dont hit it. Blade does the work
Totally agree with you dude,a fixed blade, purely by the definition, fixed, will be stronger than virtually all folding knives, those that have holes for an extra stop pin are going to be much better, nothing, and I mean nothing can beat a good quality fixed blade, fuk them that say otherwise, they haven't got a clue about what they are talking about, keep doing these exelente videos, kudos to you, dude
@@benjamink.7009 Medfords are honestly way overpriced. I also saw his first OTF wasn't very good. There are just some knives that knife reviewers aren't interested in. I don't know too many popular knife guys that are Medford fans. I've handled a few. For the price I wasn't impressed. They are about 50% more expensive than they should be. He charges custom prices for production knives with the materials that he uses. If he used higher end steel then it would be justified.
@@SMS2884 kinda sorta I agree that the price is too high But it’s not mass production like benchmade or ZT It’s closer to Hinderer or Tactile knives My greatest issue with Medfords is that it’s a mid tech with a custom price a custom tolerance They aren’t that tight, and need adjustments a lot of time, and they are just flat bars of steel and titanium For the money, they should contour them at least a bit, or do something interesting, at least IMO 600$+ I’ll buy a Shiro or a Herman, and especially at 900+ It’s not worth buying a Medford
Hi MC. I collect folders as well as quality fixed blades. I don’t even like to see baton on fixed blades unless you must. Use a small axe. My opinion, thoughts. Great content. See ya

i love how you give a knowledge about the impact of batoning using folding knife. thankyou sire
AD10 all day and twice on Sunday. I use it hard and it looks it, but it never failed me.
For me the strongest is my Cold steel 4 Max with Tri-ad Lock 💪
Classic cold steel and any Demko models are knives you can’t go wrong with for hard use.
You need Joe X in your life

The real list starts from 20:45🎉
we need someone to timestamp every video where the yap ends and the actual video begins
I just went full circle. Back to the Recon1.

Well done MC.
I trust the triad lock above anything else including the shark lock and I've seen the scorpion lock fail.
Demko shark locks are one of my favorite hard use knives and locks!
Thanks MC!!
This was proper Sunday morning viewing. 👍👍🔪
Poopy Pablo RULES ‼️
Maxace for the win! Cheers!
You're substantially accurate
That ad 15 is sharp. I haven’t seen one like that, assuming you changed it up??
they are all beautiful 👍
Strong knives are NOT Poopy Pablo
Poopy Pablo = legend
Poor poopy Pablo
The knife I always carry is a alox cadet . I don’t expect it to do anything it wasn’t intended to do. Of course I never go all Joe X ON IT.)
USA Cold Steel 4MAX all the way.
That's why i carry an AD10. It's a little chunky , but it's worth it to me to know that it's not gonna fail. I'm never sure what i might ask my knife to do.
Takeaway from this vid: DON'T USE A FOLDING KNIFE FOR BATONING!!!
On a separate note, I like the look of that Titanis. Hadn't seen it before
Poopypablo has become a meme and I'm here for it

All this getting pounded on talk is starting to make me really love knives

Ya true, but the convenience of the object would probably have a sharp drop off

Im surprised you havent bought the new Titanium AD10 yet?
I mean I own a titanium AD10 already. It's in this video
@@metal_complex Yeah but its not the numbered collectors edition.😁
Time for new apocalypse shtf only one knife to have, updated video.
Only folders 😅

Hey MC if you can give us as much advance notice as possible for Excalibur that would be helpful! I gotta save my pennies
Come to the livestream tonight
@@metal_complexI’ll be there!
Excalibur?
Strong knife with m390? Doesn't matter how strong the handle is if you have a weak blade. 3v or cruwear
Only MC has ten overbuilt knives that exceed Medford 😮
There's a reason he doesn't review Medford 😂

Why does the video quality look better? Am I losing my mind?
Yes
Luv my AD10/OG scales and my Italian AD20.....my wallet hates your channel! 😂
I have to admit I'm a little disappointed... I was sure that you were leading up to the Benchmade Bugout as being the strongest lock. 😉
You live in a finite universe? Step your game up. 👍😉👍Cheers

@WyattWillis88 thanks I do like it.

Cold steel 3” recon for edc 🗿
Forgot the Benchmade Adamas. The beast of Benchmade
I didn't forget it. I don't own it

Slip joint was good enough for pop pops . It’s good enough for me.
Some seriously ugly knives there.
Good thing I bought them for me. Dodged a bullet there huh?
lol. This video and comments would be a lot more fun if you picked 10 knives and not a single knife had a triad lock.
folding knife is not strong😅
