Quite possibly the most detailed breakdowns of Halo tech available anywhere in the galaxy!

Man, it looks so good. A worthy evolution of Mark IV, V & VI if you ask me. If Master Chief ever wore it, I assume many would look at it and say "Yep, that's Master Chief".

I’ve scrounged for mk7 info and never seemed to find this level of detail. Bravo. From the sound of it, I don’t think this would be a bad idea for the explanation of the armor change in infinite. It makes sense. Gen2 suits are compromised, so they locate old stashed mk7 models. If I’m not mistaken, the description for gen1 recon in halo 5 mentions finding caches of older armor
The Gen 2 suits are next on my agenda for a most detailed breakdown of armor. That being said, its also canon now that Gen3 suits exist. My thoughts on chiefs armor in infinite I will fully explore in an upcoming video, but the short version is, Gen1 and Gen2 are designed specifically for the Spartan-IIs and Spartan-IVs respectively. Thus, the Gen2 suits perform better for the 4s and dont give enough to the 2s. The Gen1 suits get the best out of 2s but the 4s cant use them. The Mark 7 and the Gen3 likely have the ability to actively adapt to the wearers capabilities, merging the nanotechnology of the Mk7 with a more advanced techsuit and armor system.
In short, the innovations of the Mk7 will be featured heavily in upcoming suits. No doubt. They give a tactical edge allowing on the fly adaptation that would otherwise not be able to be matched by enemy units and be more difficult for the AI of the created to try to deal with.

The nanomachines could easily be implemented in the new Gen. 3 armor for Halo Infinite. While the Chief is being ferried to his missions, he could easily put his armor into an auto repair mode, allowing the nanomachines to do their work.
Mk6 already have them for medical purposes

So if a suit of Mjolnir Armor is worth the cost of a UNSC Destroyer. Geez. You are basically telling me that a Spartan is equal to the might of a Destroyer? *Shrugs* Eh. I can see it.
Actually more. 5 destroyers could not pull off what happened in 1st strike... Although keyes is one ballsy ass dude and pulled off a 1v5 with a destroyer and lived to tell the tale

I’m pretty sure the cannon reason for the change in appearance was when Cortana was modifying his armor she combined aspects of the mk6 mk4 and a very early prototype of the mk7 armor

I know your comment is a year old, but I've always refused that reasoning for his armor changing. I think if we're all being honest, 343i just took some creative freedom when redesigning his armor for H4. Which I'm totally okay with. I think his armor in H4 & H5 looks fantastic. I'm honestly a little disappointed they went back to his MK VI from H3. But I think that has more to do with distancing themselves from the catastrophe that was H5. And nostalgia sells.
@@neildees1761 It may seem like it is just the H3 armor but there are a very many differences to it when compared to H2 and H3 armors, and the new armor is more representative of his armor from 'The Package' and the tv show. I'm also inclined to believe that the tv show made their final armor design before 343 did theirs.

So the Chief's cod piece was used to make the bigger shoulder pieces compared to the old ones... The cod piece offered more protection. Needs armor regression asap.

For as expensive and specialized as Mjolnir is, they sure seem to produce a lot of it very quickly relative to the number of Spartans there are.

Wonder what the Mark Vlll armor will look like will it have a built-in jointly developed and built cloaking device by the UNSC and Sangheli forces? Will it have wrist-mounted energy swords like the zealots had when the Covenant invaded Reach? The possibilities for that armor maybe endless but when it comes I'm pretty sure we're going to enjoy the capabilities.
00Installation
Though it's possible I might have glanced over it, 00 installation, I'd love to see an in depth description of the armor modifications! Based on Halo 3, 4 and and Reach, I believe you've mostly covered the bubble/ re-entry shield, jetpack/ plasma port exhaust/ accessory jetpack previewed in Halo 4 and improved upon in Halo 5 to name a few. I guess that leaves in question how the armor incorporates alien mods like light shield, ultraviolet vision?, the invisibility and mobile armor lock(Halo 3)? And finally, encompassing the mods of Halo: Reach:: hologram, sprint, evade, armor lock, and, for a lack of better description, Arbiter's inferior cloak.
On another note, your in depth analysis behind the sciences of Halo are astounding! Keep up the good work!!
I want Halo: Reach Our Full Potential from 343. I just turned reach on after 6 years to play with my 4 year old and he thinks its amazing. I want that Reach experience again.

I can’t seem to find the/a video from you regarding the differences between Gen1 and Gen2 Mjolnir, Is there anyway somebody could link me to the video or has it not been created yet?
The main difference is that Gen 2 has a LOT of variations for any specializations a Spartan may require. Gen 2 is also significantly cheaper than Gen 1
You would think they would give the best suit for the best soldier(masterchief) but nope.
