You heard that Jennifer Richard said he needed to put the supports on to keep your head from falling off 😂 I'm just kidding 😂 Good morning Jennifer Richard and Patrick 😁👍🏼
Rope drive. That’s interesting. My neighbour has the same make but it’s a chain drive. It so important to take the time like you’ve done to get things set up properly before you get started. I’ve seen so many cases where people get a sawmill, rush it together and then can’t figure out why they’re getting wavy cuts. Looking forward to seeing that beast running!
Great be careful. I’m a retired carpenter served the brotherhood for 45 years. To date I have all my fingers because I completed safety training I enjoyed your video and stay safe.
Hi again; I just started to watch your channel, enjoy it very much. I think it’s because sawdust is in my DNA. Working as a tradesman was never work because I loved what I did to earn a living. The great part was earning a very good living with hospitalization, vacation pay, pension, and a nice annuity at retirement. Their are thousands of trained carpenters through out the USA I’m a proud member of the UBC. Your living my dream of owning that great saw mill.
Sure glad you got the video up and running today Richard, had me worried about what happened? Great job getting the unit moved and set on the rails and ready to go. You'll get the bugs worked out and the sawmill running in the next video. It will be good to see the three of you going to town with the mill in action. Thanks so much for sharing with us, stay safe and have some fun while the kids are both there to help out. Fred.
We tried to get the video out earlier, but the sponsor wouldn’t let us so we were held up until they gave us the OK. Needless to say we won’t be doing any of those. Thanks for watching Fred and we hope that you have a great weekend.

Could the metal cover on rail bumper being set up to hit a metal screw on the drive assembly be a safety ground? If so, you will need to add metal plus ground wire to your wood bumper extension or put bumper on the front of the wood. The current position of bumper pad is grounded to the frame.
Richard, I was thinking about the sawdust falling along the track, since you will being walking along side, it will be a mess falling on or walking through. If you attach a bucket and keep a wheel barrel close by, you can empty the bucket and not have the mess.
GOOD DYA SAWMILL SETUP LOOKING GOOD,HINT WHEM TIGHTEN UP NUTS AND BOLTS USE THE BOXEND ON THE WRENCH SAVE YOUR KNUCKLE SKIN AND THE REST OF YOUR SKIN, THAT HURTS WHEN THE OPEN END SLIPS.TAKE CARE-JIMBO
Love that saw mill, constructive criticism; you are going to be working in a tight spot no place to move if you have to get out of the way in a hurry. And it’s going to be very hard to remove boards.
When we built there was no intention of a new mill. It is set up just like the last one. It’s actually a little easier than the last to remove material because it sets higher. Anyway, we will make it work
Only on the other Wood-Mizer models. According to its manual The LX150 head posts are a little different than the other LT models. The LT models have a single post head design
Just a thought. Can you get some hooks, pulleys and thin rope and find a way to simply lift it straight up to just below the roof, and just leave it there while you are using the mill.
That’s the truth. I think there should have been some adjustment to the operation station. It’s all welded and so strong. Not going to complain because of that. Very heavy duty
That’s exactly how we feel! We didn’t realize it would involve soooo much setup and check and setup and check. Takes a lot of time to do all that before you can cut as you can see. We wanted to make this video for people who needed help setting up their LX150. We couldn’t find anything on TH-cam to help us so we wanted to help some others :) Soon enough! Thanks for commenting !
lol, the “Media” doesn’t report any news anymore. It’s their version of what “they think we should hear.” And if we are lucky, lol, there might be a “piece” of truth hidden they forgot to remove.
Don't forget to check out the link in the description if you are interested in the Bluetti AC180!

Congratulations on your new Saw Mill. That thing is massive 😯. Stay safe out there and hugs to you and your family ❤️ from Indiana USA 🌻🌻🌻🌻🇱🇷
Thanks Tina. Hope all is well and you have a good weekend
She’s a beast Richard! (Not Jennifer!! 😂). Going to be fun watching her in action. Have a great weekend!!
It is isn’t it. Out in the open maybe smaller but actual size compared to standing next to it it’s big!

That's one impressive piece of equipment! I'm always interested to see what you're able to do with the toys in the shop. Enjoyed the video as usual!
Thanks 👍 we certainly do appreciate the comment and it is a very nice machine. Haven’t used it much but what I have I really like.

Did you all get a chance to see the blade lubrication system part of the video? What did you think of what we did with it? let us know !
Checking in with SM outpost don't be Dumb hit the Thumb to support there journey.
What up? Hope you enjoyed and have a great weekend
nice saw Richard,
Thanks Nathan! Definitely quite a bit different than the Norwood for sure
3:30 A boat or trailer winsch in the ceiling, to have the cover out off the way when the saw is used? And you can lower in in a controlled manner.
That's kind of the idea yeah! We are thinking through a few different options
Un saludo desde Barcelona España
Hello Spain from the US

It is very nice and we have all adjustments made and is now cutting like butter. Have a good weekend

Yes. Kind of what I said in the last review video. Now I have to walk on the same side the exhaust is.
Love it❤
Thanks Mark
I haven't watched for 2yrs when you got vacated, now look how different you look like.
Yes and I feel much better. Have a good week and thanks for watching

Hi guys, not everyone thinks Cleopatra is beautiful but it's not the way Julius Caesar.
Lol
👍👍👍
Thanks James!
Hi Richard and Jennifer - its been a while - been busy and just got back from where I used to live. Lost some friends and family. Have a good day.
Welcome back! So sorry to hear that. Prayers for all.
Your head is supposed to be a 1/16th of an inch off to make it cut square when the blade is engaged. You will like that simple set.

@@SmokyMountainOutpost I had a 15 years ago and I assume it was the same cantilever style. I see the chains on both sides now that you said that.
Is that a debarker attachment? If so, I didn't realize you could add one to the LX150.....
Everything except hydraulics.
Just a thought. Can you get some hooks, pulleys and thin rope and find a way to simply lift it straight up to just below the roof, and just leave it there while you are using the mill.
Good idea. Not sure but have thought about something similar. Think I am going to extend the roof three more feet.
❤
Thanks
You need some Elton John boots to reach the control panel.

@@SmokyMountainOutpost Looks great and cuts well as in your latest video.
