I’ve had an LX 55 for about three years now and I love . Mostly mill pine and cedar down here in south central Matagorda County. Have milled some lumber for customers. I like how you put the 8” crossbeams under the long ones to get it higher. Mine is also on 8”x8”-15’ beams I plan on putting 8” crossbeams under it to go higher. You’ll like it!!
I have a 2021 model super lt40 with command control and all the options and I love it. I also have an eg100 board edger i love it also. I think woodmizer makes excellent products. I have never ran any of the small manual mills but it looks like a bunch of hard work but I can see where one would pay off using it on your own projects. I can't imagine how you could produce enough lumber to make a profit selling it.
We just got the LX50 Super, so I searching peeps using it. We are putting it together now and what a pain lol. We built a slightly elevated concrete slab for it. We will be posting vids on our channel also. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with all your successes.
Nice! Woodmizer is a good company to deal with. Parts(you probably wont need any for a while) a a call and a couple days away. I sure like my LT40 Hydraulic mills.
I also made two modifications that made a world of difference, The first is I added a vent to the water tank because it would get an air lock and would stop flowing. I put a regular tire valve stem in it and that solved that problem. The second is I cut the grids out of the discharge vent because the sawdust would get hung up there and wouldn’t come out so I removed the grids from the discharge port and that fixed that problem.
@@wallacefarmandsawmill I had to adjust the rollers , and I spray the felt pad with silicon before everyday of cutting ; also as the track wears it gets easier , but I can push mine with about two fingers pressure.
@@wallacefarmandsawmill sounds like the blade may not be parallel to log deck, I would check with the metal bar they provide , to ensure parallel to log deck ,I had to adjust that , other than that the blade style may not be suited to saw. Are you experiencing that in hardwood and soft? To me it sounds like an adjustment issue but honestly I am not sure , …
I have a 2013 HM 126 and it's getting a little long in the tooth. I never liked the lift mechanism and I've never been able to cut straight boards out of really hard hardwoods like honey locust and hedge. I've recently gotten access to a lot of black walnut and white oak and I'm tempted to try a woodmizer to see if I have any better luck as I'd hate to ruin the black walnut due to the mill. Looking forward to seeing more from you while using your new mill.
Guys go read on this model online. It’s a optional feature. It doesn’t come standard, therefore it’s not necessary. Not excited, and I’m very educated on it.
Way faster than the 15 eh!!!! You need the log deck and greenchain next. Your edger boards can pile up at end of greenchain to be fed after enough is there to warrant firing it up!!
Advice needed. My can’t ends are square but middle I lose 1/8 on all side. Sawmill is level in every direction. No matter what rungs I put log same thing happens
Good morning there buddy. I run a string from ended to end. I put a 9/16 nut down on the end bunks and see if another nut will slip under the string on each bunk. I don’t have a laser level so this is fast and easy for me. Couple minutes and off I go straight flat lumber. My mill is on a trailer and has 8 legs.
Hey buddy came over from Tim's channel, seen his video today, keep up the awesome work 🌲💪🇺🇲🤙✊👌 cool video, nothing like freshly sawed pine, ohhhh that smellllll !
Question why haven't you turned that massive pail of saw dust in to a Charcoal bricks froe the Barbee at $ quid a bag i bet the 30.000 quid siting there / LOL sufficient to to by a more saw 's.
HOW MUCH IS THIS ONE? I HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT ONE OF THESE. I DO A LOT OF CARPENTRY WORK, BUT I HAVE PLENTY OF WOOD TO USE, 18 ACRES AND I NEED ONE OF THESE. HOW MUCH OR REFURE ME TO THE SELLER PLEASE, AND THANK YOU SIR.
Why Woodmizer changed the Side on the LX55, where the Operator walks / pushes?? Looks like it’s NOT a ORIGINAL Woodmizer!! Pretty soon you will hit some Metal….
I, like that small sawmill, wood-mizer, im always watching from Philippines, i love sawmill job. I'm one of your followers and subscriber, hopefully you can help me to provide one of this sawmill machine. I, have small sawmill, but cannot cut like that. This is my dream sawmill machine.❤❤❤😊 thank you.

Been doing it 8 years. Just need to know your market.
You are absolutely correct on knowing your market and making it a success where others have failed ;)@@wallacefarmandsawmill

Nice machine
I like the LX55 looks like you can do more things with it 😀.
Very nice 👍👏👏
hi there nice looking mill . wondering if the lead guide is fixed or will move closer to the log . nice sawing , john
Good question! It’s fixed. You have to purchase the movable guide separate.
Nice show
Great looking mill I've been thinking about getting one of these and cutting my own lumber
Go for it!
I have the timbery M120, which is the same as a LX-55, great saw ,I have cut a mountain of lumber with it , great saw!

Thanks for the tips! Did you ever find yours to be hard to push?

@@thomasgardner5872 I’m finding that currently it seems hard to push through the cut. It rolls freely on the track without a cut. Any thoughts?

I bought a woodland mill so far I really like it only thing I don't like is I should bought a larger one!
I had one. Didn't like it blade gides bad, lifting bad clamping bad. I checked lx55 stomach better.
You need to move the blade guide colser to wood
What was the cost off the truck?
you should be using the leading edge blade guide to spop the blade from wondering
That's what I was thinking as well
Maybe is so excited he forgot to adjust it. After 4 cuts you would think he has noticed.

I owned a woodland 130 I was happy the day I got it and more happy the day I sold it. That mill was a nightmare. Love my lt 28 woodmizer
So many things about the woodland need work! So many.

Excellent photography. Shame we couldn't hear a word you were saying when you started the engine.
found your channel from the cottontop3 video.where do you get your blades from.that you said in his video
Kilgore saw in Arkansas!
Does this sawmill have an optional hydraulic log loader and turner?

Thanks for coming over buddy!
Cant find video on why left woodland mills for woodmizer,???
Woodland was falling apart within 50 hours. Just the truth. Woodmizer has been super solid.
You'll love your Wood Mizer! I love mine!
We hope so!
Very nice hope it brings years of good use
I hope so too!
Mantau bs 👍👍
Eagerly waiting on your comparison video between woodland and woodmiser.
Coming soon!
what you did with the other mizer saw mill
I would love to know the price off truck as well. Thanks
$7100
John Oates hit the nail on the head.
Nice mill. Is it quite a bit more expensive than the Woodland Mills mill?
Like 700 more.
That's a little one !
I just made that bandsaw at work today Diamond Saw Chaffee NY world's finest saw blades 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Congrats on the new mill, great job!
Thanks 👍
Awesome looking woodmizer
How long is your track what size log can you mill Thanks in advance
Have fun with the new mill and as always be safe out there.
Congratulations on the new sawmill !!
Thank you!
I really don't think you will like this in the long run but we will see??
It’s a placeholder till I get my lt15wide.
Very good my friend 🙏👍❤️❤️❤️
Upgraded to a similar machine, should have kept the green one.
Love ur channel!
Thanks so much! Glad to have you!

Sure! Email me.

Do you find the top end of the log where most would measure is smaller than the butt where you measured?
In general they do tend to shrink as they go up!

I bet you found out real quick that dirt aint so kind to band blades as circle blades. if i can't debark em i pressure wash em
I'm still sawing with a 30 YO Norwood Lumbermate, that 390 cc Honda engine can sit 6 months and still fire up first pull.
No starter? I'd say it will become a hassle to use.
At least something will not brake on this cheapo Kohler Engine with Chinese Made Quality!!

Nice mill but Thats a little out of my price Range here in canada! Probably 8000 dollars canaidian i bought a cheaper brand Range Road rr5026
way too many adds , stopped watching
Seems a lot more manual labor for no benefit. Rotate large logs by hand as easy as before.
Why are you not using the throat adjuster??? Maybe you dont know to keep the throat open 2in larger than the log.
That is a optional accessory on this model mill. Optional. I have sawn over 1 million bf. I know what I’m doing.
Why did you go backwards? Lot more manual labor..
and we are back forward now lol!
I wood be embarrassed to show you tubers that I made such a dumb mistake "/
Your crazy 🤪, I'll paint my Kubota green before I'll trade my Woodland Mills HM130MAX for an over priced, weak ass woodmizer "/
Nice!
