I remember when this video first came out, it had a thumbnail that looked AI generated, so I didn't give it much a look. This current thumbnail looks a little disorienting at first, but it didn't look as off-putting as the original thumbnail I recalled

I show my 8-year-old daughter this kind of stuff in order to trigger creativity in her mind. She's been taking piano lessons for a few years now. This was truly creative and inspirational. Thank you.
I’m always really frustrated with how long it takes me to read sheet music on piano since I’m a violinist who still hasn’t gotten good at sight reading chords or any other variety of polyphony yet, but I’ll never stop praising anyone who actually shows what their hands are doing on the piano for me to see without relying on a piano roll or other types of synthesia. For some reason, there’s just something so viscerally comprehensible and helpful about seeing everything done here, and I especially love how you do eventually touch on how these sounds are being created. This goes far beyond being helpful. It’s honestly inspirational, thank you.
Dude…. Piano sight readers are insane but I think people that sight read for Marimba or Vibraphone are intense too cause you have to use peripheral vision so much… I was a percussion major in college and that shit was hard
The piano is probably not degrading in the way its creators intended and will likely have a much shorter life compared to a piano that is used normally. At the very minimum, this piano will cost more in parts and labor to keep working.
@@Pianified1 the thumbnail originally made me sceptical it was going to be a serious video, maybe others haven't engaged with the video because of this reason too

I don't think I have ever seen a single piano used so fully and I had no idea at all this instrument could produce this many different colors and qualities of sound. Absolutely astonishing. And beautiful.

My mother had a baby grand. I loved this piano! For FUN we used to put common silverware on the strings for amazing sounds. This made socializing a lot more fun.
Even if you can see cuts embedded in the video, and so some parts of the song are played separately from the rest, the result is still incredible, and the channel should definitely be more widely known.
Thank you very much! The cuts are indeed very hard to avoid, especially since its all me playing the seperate tracks. Otherwise it would require a lot of people to smoothly transition between all the bowed string notes for example😅
Damn, it's even more incredible. I didn't even notice that it was just one person doing it all. Yes, so it's normal for there to be cuts, otherwise it would be a bit complicated x). Btw, would it be possible to make the "Darkstar" ost from Top Gun 2 in the future? I think there's an energy that would go great with this type of arrangement.
