For 2 solid months I started experiencing slippage in gear shifts + a clunk only at 2nd gear . Problem I was trying to find on line from many many comments from different mechanics all giving me incorrect information about my problem why my speedometer needle worked perfectly always at any speed with excellent engine power + great kick down . My tachometer was flying all over the place up + down from 800rpms to 7,000rpms . My 2007 malibu lt with 3.5 litre engine. Great engine. At high speeds my tachometer needle never goes above 2,000 to 2,500rpms max . No videos ever gave me or showed me my true problem. My 2 codes read PO700 TCM transmission control module + PO757 PCM powertrain control module needs reprogramming. 5 years driving this car it always started 1st shot . As soon as I changed 2 computers from bad information right away my car wouldn't crank or start . Then sent a signal to my dash ENGINE POWER REDUCED . Then erased all my computers memories so couldn't start . Said fuel + air ratio no.longer receiving cuz put my timing off . Dam dam dam . Cost me $140. Labor 1 hour to reprogram my computer back to normal. Cuz I took bad advice from mechanics guessing. This video is the 1st. Honest video I saw today in 2 months that is 100% accurate to my problem I have been searching for to correct my tachometer + slippage + clunk. Also cuz faulty speed sensor it caused my engine body to feel very hot to touch + transmission hot too. This monday I will be changing my new speed sensor to solve my problems. I can't thank this mechanic enough + this great video . I wish I found you guys 2 months ago .it would of saved me alot of trouble. Just buy a new speed sensor + car rides like new again .
