Ah ive been scrolling so many videos and youre a SAVIOUR for this!!! Your editing, energy and narration is perfect and was so nice to watch!!! Thank you so much for your perfect advice and helping us on lower budgets!! ❤❤❤ all the best to you!!! 💫
Not at all my dear friend. The red means you are dropping frames which is due to the limitation of your computer hardware. So this computer has better specs to handle the current footage that is why it isn't Red. Therefore, if I begin to work with 4k or load the video with effects the timeline will immediately become red. I hope you have learned something from what I just shared. Thank you.
Hi, thank you for your review. I’m looking to get an hp elite book 1030 g3 and I’ll be editing videos and doing graphics design on it a lot, is that a good pick or is there a better one you can recommend to me?
If you have more money, going for something extra might be the best. However, if you are looking at your budget and portability, this laptop is certainly worth your attention. It performs okay with 1080p editing and basic graphic works
By using the attached original USB cable. Just connect it to your PC and you will have direct access to the files without the need for third party software
Looking to get an 840 g5 16gb ram 512gb… is this a good pick boss? I would be doing graphics and motion graphics maybe a little video here and there on it…
At end of the day, no bad review should replace your personal experience. I suggest you stop watching videos on it since you have already bought it and just concentrate on using it. These technologies in my opinion are simply a means to and end. Your personal experience may be different. Enjoy your purchase
Hey, I found your video quite helpful. I just want to ask if HP Elitebook x360 1040 g5 (core i5 8th gen, 16Gb RAM) would be able to handle the softwares.
I really usually don't want to recommend things just by book specs. I mostly want to use it before I can confidently recommend that. By this proposition, I can only recommend The G2 since I have used that one. Kindly get one with 16GB Ram and above.
Just like every laptop these days, battery life is always going be based on how far you are pushing it. I have used it for more than 5 hours just typing documents but couldn't even get an hour and half from rendering 8 bit videos in after effects. So it all depends on the usage. I mostly don't depend on what the manufacturer says since it will always differs based on the use case
No. It's just the sweet size. Not too small and not big. But I will certainly recommend connecting to a bigger screen if one is working in an office setting.
to be honest, this is a stone old machine. its from 2017... and its not upgradeable to win 11. which means, supports ends soon in october 2025. an outdated system is horrible when it comes to security. i picked up a normal elitebook, which has the same CPU. i tried to upgrade: no way. so whats the solution? go ubuntu! that OS is faster, more stable, and resolve will perform BETTER than on windows! its more performance for FREE ;). i run it since 2 days, and i`m surprised, how fast this machine can be.
Interesting revelation. It will be good to have you educate us about Ubuntu after using for about 5 months. That way you can give as a more detailed report. Thanks once again for educating us. I will definitely look out for that operating system🙏👍
I haven't experienced any of those. Maybe it's because I generally don't trust Laptops and their heat management systems hence, I always study the airflow patterns and make sure they are free to release the heat at every point in time
This laptop HP EliteBook 1030 G3 x360 i7-8TH GEN 16 RAM 512 SSD is good for editing and design 🙏🏻❤️
Thanks for sharing your thoughts

The link is for a Acer Swift X SFX14-41G-R1S6 Creator Laptop and the one you are talking about is a HP
Prior to this new HP that's what I used for editing on the go but I noticed some few issues. I will add the HP link right away. Thank you
But you render it in and out , that's why it's moving smooth, the timeline supposed to be red
Not at all my dear friend. The red means you are dropping frames which is due to the limitation of your computer hardware. It's pretty good but it dropped a lot of frames at full quality plus what resolution was the video clips?
The footage is HD specifically 1080. I wouldn't recommend for it for full 4k work flow unless you want to work with proxies.

Please how do I transfer videos from iPhone to hp laptop?
By using the attached original USB cable. Just connect it to your PC and you will have direct access to the files without the need for third party software
Can this pc work well for music production? Carrying fl studio 20. And cubase pro and some vst plugins ? Please i need it
I'm not into the usage of fl studio hence I can't confirm.
Random question, can Elitebook 830 G5 run Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop?

Hi, thank you so much for the nicely done review. Between the 1030 g2 and 840 g5 which one is better? Both at 16/512 SSD

How much this laptop brother
It depends on which part of the world you find yourself. You can Google it using your country currency
Hmmm! wondering if battery life is so abysmal or that he forgot to mention it 🤷♂

@@africaamaze nice ! I just wanted to have a rough idea. i am aware ymmv.
Will this handle 4k decently? Im just getting into video and looking to upgrade from my ipad and learn davinci resolve.
It will start with 4k. You can edit with half-quality or edit with proxies
Hope it not too small for use
No. It's just the sweet size. Not too small and not big. But I will certainly recommend connecting to a bigger screen if one is working in an office setting.
@@africaamaze thank you boss
I just wanna use it for video editing, I don't have office yet (just my room)

Has anyone edited Insta360 x3 video's on this laptop?
Personally, I haven't tried editing any 360 videos on it before
I've heard some complaints about heat management. What can you say?
I haven't experienced any of those. Maybe it's because I generally don't trust Laptops and their heat management systems hence, I always study the airflow patterns and make sure they are free to release the heat at every point in time
