every time I watched someone play the root pack fight, I noticed that Ollie only seemed to attack in self defense, and I thought "Huh, if this were real life I'd just leave him alone," I but I never knew it would *actually work*

Oh there's a bunch of different boss battles depending on your actions Like, during Sally Stageplay's first phase, if you parry her hearts and stand on BOTH angels till they rumble, the coffin in the back falls on her husband. Making phase 2 different, and phase 3 harder, with him being next to her as a god
Did you know in Sally Stageplay, if you go onto the two angels on the stage, you kill Sally’s husband and you fight against nuns in the second phase. The third phase, Sally’s husband fights with her.
There’s 3 other ones too: Djimmi: Before he scans you to make the Puphead, if you go mini plane, you skip puppet phase but a small puppet carries over to the last phase. Sally: Get on the two stands to kill the fiancé. Once done, the babies throwing milk are swapped with nuns throwing rulers. And the Lightning phase also has a baby pushing in a fireball prop. The last phase isn’t highly affected but just has different people in the background of the curtain call Howling Aces: Shoot at all four small dogs enough til the Jetpacks turn grey. This disables all screen rotating and adds new dogs throwing pineapple
Another thing in the Sally Stageman fight if you parry jump in Sally's hearts, land into two angels the chandelier fall into the husband and get crushed and then the boss fight will change a little bit
Same with the Sally Stageplay fight: If you stand on both angels in phase 1, the chandelier falls and kills the groom, and she runs to cry near where he died, and in phase 2 instead of babies throwing bottles its nuns throwing crosses, and he is seen as a god in phase 3 and there would now be fireballs the player had to jump over. No change in phase 4.
Two other secret boss phases for those who didn’t know: I’d you shrink during djimmi the greats puppet cuphead phase, (in the animation before the game starts) it’ll skip to his final phase, but with a mini cuphead shooting around the screen. And with sally stageplay , if you stand on the two angels in her first phase you’ll kill her husband and change up the entire fight.
This happens also happens in sally stageplay, if you stay on the angel childs for to long, the stage decorations will fall, and makes 2 new things in phase 2 and 3.
While it’s technically being a good person, that Raddish was the most annoying little thing during the Carrot fight (which gets extra health if you don’t hit the onion) since mosquitoes. Peace at a cost.
i thought everyone knew all the secrets, they added these in the nintendo switch release update, along with the sally stage plate nunnery shortcut, and the genie shortcut. there might be one more but i havent played in a while so i forgot

The third phase the husband is a god as well and does a fireball attack. Pretty cool huh.
