- After tackling Riku, Sora ends up getting beat and it was then that Larxene comes by to ruin everything. Regardless, Donald and Goofy come by to help Sora out and now a battle ensues. Stay tuned for the cutscene afterwards which will lead to the final battles.
CoM logic:
Larxene: *uses one attack card-makes multiple hits*
Sora: *uses one attack card-does one swing of his keyblade*
I'm assuming they did it that way since otherwise the bosses would have to spam cards non-stop to do multiple attacks and you'd have a much smaller window to attack without getting your cards broken. Still weird, though.

Based Squirtle Axel was even harder because I had no idea how the Parasite Cage and Darkside cards worked
Lucas Watkins Darkside copies the enemy’s main card. Axels main card makes him immune to fire, but vulnerable to ice. Should’ve equipped that when I first fought Axel on the 13th floor.
I found fake riku's last fight the hardest. I beat all of them in my first try except for fake riku

Goofy epic entrance
Took me a few tries to beat Riku IV, but surprisingly I was able to take her down in one try. Still a tough fight! Vexen really helped.

I struggled so much while fighting Riku and I expected this fight to be trouble
I beat it on my first try
That 9 to 10 hit tekken combo with the lightning at the end always makes me laugh. I definitely won on my first try back in the day, but kudos to her damned combos! 😂

i can barely play this game on the PS3 and PS4. I don't think I can even imagine playing it on a Gameboy.

Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories on the GBA was a mistake, I am sorry but it was. I know they wanted to have a quick inbetween game so they could focus on Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PS2, but Chain of Memories should have been a PS2 game from the start and Kingdom Hearts 2 should have just came out later. Heck, it wouldn't even have been a big deal. It's not as if the games being released this way would have delayed Kingdom Hearts III coming out or anything.
This is why when everyone talks about Chain of Memories now, it comes from Re:Chain of Memories. The GBA game is something everyone would like to forget.
@@simpletonapollo9723 You are out of your god damn mind. The GBA version is VASTLY PREFFERED to the Ps2 version by the fanbase at large. The only reason you see more of Recom is because that version is more accessible. Not becaise it's better.
The remake is terrible. It's a cheap asset flip with awful damage scaling. Horrible lip synching, Terrible voice acting, And an absolute joke of a dificulty due to the combat being centered on sleights.
The GBA version has proper damage scaling, Incredible sprite work, Balanced sleights and solid deck building.

Damn near the hardest boss Ive ever fought in a video game when it came out. YONKS harder than ALL the optional bosses from the original KH at the time. fml.

Well its my turn to say something
If you want to defeat Larxene listen to me
Larxene can defeat you if you dont have combos or zero cards to Break her cards. But, She only attack in one line. Believe me or not. At the start of the Boss Battle versus Larxene you only walk up or down, after try to dodge every Combo that she uses(and yeah she only hurt you if you near her) . I recomend you attack only when she uses individual cards(or low combo cards like Lightning) . Your deck need cards with these numbers: 9,8,7(Max. 6 cards with these numbers) . Also equip Summon cards like Cloud, Dumbo and Simba. You need to Break every elixir if she try to recharge her deck. Before the end of the battle, Larxene have only cards and she can't make any combos. That is the moment when you hit her with your entire arsenal.
Anyway, if you want to try the #NoZeroChallenge you need to have a lot of cards with number 9,8 and 7. I defeat Larxene like 5 times and I prove it. Larxene is too predictible and when she uses an enemy card, she is too weak and I hit her with 2 Ars Arcum.
You can use Sonic Blade, that's my favorite Combo but its Too OP
Lol ez just have 0 cards and stop cards and attack cards to use Lethal flame cuz it will take down one bar at a time. Have three cure cards and elixir. Ez. Use same strategy with Axel II but I recommend also trying to have blizzaga for Axel.
@@BrowniesTasteAmazing No Lethal Frame in this game. Back in the day we had to suffer through the hell that was Riku 4, Larxene 2 and Axel 2.
