  • So I thought I would try out a new type of tutorial. Quick 2 min video, that shows you how to create an effect from start to finish. You can download "practice files" below. Let me know how you like this form of video and what you would like to see next.
    If you like this shot check out the full film I made: • "Just Another Car Ad" ...
    In this tutorial you will learn how to animate a sticker onto a surface using the curve modifier in Blender. The idea and style of the animation are inspired by mograph animations seen in Cinema 4D.
    If you need a model to try this out on, you can download a practice file with the car body and the sticker here: drive.google.com/open?id=12Vo...
    - Daniel is out!

      Thanks Derek! Yeah, often times I find that there are many ways to solve a "problem" in Blender. It just shows how many tools the software has to offer.

    Hi Daniel, it would be very helpful if could make a video about camera settings and animation. And it would be nice if you could explain your workflow for the shots that, are they pre-planned or you make & change according to your animation. And thank you for sharing this video.

    It would be awesome to go over how you do imperfections in your shaders. You seem to be very very good at doing that in all your renders

    I would like to ask a few questions:
    ①How can I render the car's headlights well? I always render them dark and without details.
    ②How to show the speed of the car, is it related to the camera shutter, engineering frame rate and other parameters?
    ③How to make the voice of the work? Is it purchased copyright music or made by yourself?
    Thank you.

      1. In a video I am working on right now - Talking about how to make tail-lights look nice. But for the head light it is the same thing. You need to have a lot of detail inside the lights. If you just have a sphere emitting light, it won't look so nice. Try to add as much geometry as you can in there (Look closely at references of headlights and see what kind of shapes and volumes they put in there. :)
      2. Hmmm, I didn't change the shutter or frame rate or anything. I made the camera shake when the car was racing by it - And then the lower you place the camera, the quicker the car will look. Also when you are animating the car, it's good to make the body sway a little bit from side to side, like it has some weight and also not make it turn too sharp. If it makes a very sharp turn all of a sudden, it will not look like it is driving so fast. Imagine when you are on a highway - You turn the steering wheel just a little bit.
      3. The sound effects were done by a freelancer and for the music - one was purchased and one was "royalty-free" when used on youtube. It was with a license from Fixt. :)

    Thanks for the video. This is definitely not for people new to blender. It’s like you’re in a rush. I could hardly follow your cursor lol
    But, cool video.

      @DanielVesterbaek  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahah.. Yeah, that's true. The level is probably not beginner :/
      I like to keep the quick and short, but hey.. Thanks for the feedback - I will think about it

    • @Yassir.A.P.
      @Yassir.A.P. 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      D.O.N MUZIC Well, if I were you, as a beginner I would not watch short videos, bcos most likely it will be for intermediate/advanced users.
      Watch beginner tutorials first and practice what's taught in them, explore different parts of Blender then later you will understand more.
