G'day, everybody. Here is a little sneak peek before we get into the presentation that Rune Skov of Gryphon Audio put together for me.
I have around an hour of footage that I will be editing and releasing on the channel with rune, talking about the Diablo 333 and the new Power Zone power filtration system that is brand new for Gryphon Audio.

I've liked what I've heard from Gryphon, but I haven't heard any of the big separates. My problems with them are 1) black only, after 20+ years of having a living room full of Asian black lacquer furniture we've gone mid century modern and are trying really hard to banish all black from the space. And 2) class A, while I *love* the sound of class A amplifiers we don't have good HVAC so I just cannot have a class A amp dumping heat into the room.
My current 1160 gets not but not so hot that you cannot touch it, so even as it's getting warm in the space it's livable.

Hi Mark, Yes, I don't know what to tell you about the black thing. I guess that's just something that they do and will continue to do by the looks of things.
And yes, the heat issue in class A, I guess, is always going to be a thing.
Although my Vitus amplifiers barely get warm in class A.
But I know for me that beautiful sound that comes out of those amplifiers, especially the Apex and Commander, which is the current flagship, is just stunning. For me, I am prepared to forgive the other things to hear how good that sounds, but that is just me. I fully appreciate your criteria for acceptance of something like that in your home.👍🎧🙂
