Been a Daxi lurker for a while and I've been rooting for you to hit Legend when you started taking GBL more seriously. Congrats on Legend, and I really appreciate the bit at the end about taking responsibility. I've done some coaching with some local players and friends in PVP and this bit has been the hardest to get those people to adopt, and I'm really glad that you took the time to add this at the end of your video. This is a well put together video and is very good for beginners. That "taking responsibility" is a load of crap. It's fine to say "oh, I guessed wrong... I didn't expect them to use or have that move" All well and good. But when you get the hard counter in front and then hard countered after that? There's no coming back from that. And since we have NO idea what they are using (There is no "show 6 pick 3" as there should be) then there's not even a valid reason to take full responsibility. Niantic support actually told me the more you win the more the difficulty is raised. That confused me because at the time, I thought it was about the skill of the players. Well it is about that but it's also about matching you against "more difficult teams" because at the higher ranks, we ALL already do the things he says in this video. We count, we time the charged moves and we try to anticipate their teams. We also use energy management and more advanced tricks he didn't mention. There are some clever swaps techniques out there and I don't take responsibility for that though I give credit to the player for it. I don't BLAME NIANTIC when I see it's the skill of the player that won out. But this charge of "take responsibility" is EXACTLY "Don't blame Niantic!" And that's BS! The moment he said that was the moment I realized this is just another shill video. We already know Niantic sends out gift boxes and other things out to youtubers who "give them love." This video smells EXACTLY like that.
Being a competitive player for like 12 years (on showdown and every gen game) this PVP defies Pokemon logic so that was my hardest point. Equake hitting Flying types, being able to body slam a Ghost type lol it makes no sense BUT I started PVP on here last season and almost hit expert. I feel counting is the single most important. Also, the meta being so stale; you don’t have a lot to memorize lmao Medicham? Ice Punch and Psychic (most likely) Azu? Ice Beam and Play Rough Lant? Surf and Thunderbolt lmao like everyone uses the same stuff and the same moves so it’s so easy to predict. Spicy picks aren’t very popular either because of how rarely they can take a set of 5 in a row
One skill i have to add is win condition recognition. Its not something you can study but over time you will work on it . Firstly improving can vary from reviewing your own games , watching someone else play , someone analysing your games or a combination of those . Then in the game you have to implement what you have learned and always make a plan .
Daxi, quality info. I really on zyonik and homeslice for my pvp coaching but you are my favorite pogo TH-camr. I love to see that you see getting into battling, this right here will help so many trainers
Go battle league is the prime example of dont judge a book by its cover. At first glance it looks dumb and easy cuz theres only three buttons. But there’s so much thought and dedication needed to actually come out on top once you hit a certain rank.
started playing this game in june of this year and hit expert last season.. learning and incorporating the first two skills you mentioned really helped me get better at pvp quickly
One thing to add is I think when making a team you don’t want your lead Pokémon to be double weak to a type basically if your grass and ice and a fire type comes in with a fire move at the start off the battle you basically have to switch out as they’ll kill you in like a couple of fast moves which puts you in a really bad spot for the rest of the battle so for your lead I recommend only using a Pokémon with one type so you don’t have to switch out at the start.
Your best video! Fantastic Poké Daxi! I like to add that high graded teams often work best the first days of the cup, e.g. the first days of the Jungle Cup then the cup becomes more tactical and energy maximizing. Have a fantastic day everyone!
I like to add that playing on Mondays is a lot better than playing on Sundays, despite all the counting my rank didn't move yesterday but today (Monday) I won every set and my total score was 17-8. I still think that I can improve energy counting (number 2 in the video) which gets hard after a lot of switches and baits. (I even lost a game today because someone called me in the middle of a game.) 😀
People have explained this in the past. But I think your instructions really hit. You're really talented with giving instructions, and of course your content
I already know 80% of this but I've never have these thoughts organized in my mind. PokéDaxi has an amazing way of neatly putting things in simpler details. Literally the best and most well balanced pokemon go youtuber forever. Thank you so much for this video! J'adore PokéDaxi, merci mille fois 😊❤
A good strategy I was just taught was to not allow your opponent to farm too much energy even if it means you need to stop attacking so that your opponent can’t farm you down. An example of this is… I just had a match a little while ago so I’ll tell exactly what I did. In my match I lead with Dewgong and my opponent’s lead was TalonFlame. My opponent immediately swaps out Talon and into Lanturn… and I swap into Gloom but not until I gained enough energy for an icy wind with my Dewgong. I wanted to have the icy wind ready for Talonflame if it comes back in… I wanted to be ahead on energy. Also I was hoping to catch a charge move on my Gloom because I didn’t want too much health on it when I knockout the Lanturn so as to not give the Talonflame too much time to build up energy for its charge move because then Talon would be able to threaten my back line. So once I got enough energy on my Dewgong for an Icy Wind I swapped it out and into gloom and caught the Thunderbolt. I then Razor Leaf’d it down to about about 1 HP then stopped attacking. lol my opponent stopped as well and I knew exactly what they were trying to do so I didn’t want to knockout the Lanturn when I still had a little over half my health left because then my opponent could come in and farm down Gloom without throwing a charge. I had enough energy for one Sludge Bomb and would have never made it to another charge move and my opponent would be so far ahead with energy. So I was trying to win the mid game matchup without using a shield and without having too much health to allow the Talonflame to farm. So we just waited the switch clock out and then I took out the Lanturn and in came the Talon. I immediately throw the Sludge Bomb which my opponent shielded then I dipped out and swapped into Whiscash. I now had shield advantage and didn’t allow my opponent to get ahead on energy with a big lead. I ended up winning the match. My opponent’s other Pokemon was a Skarmory btw. I also used Gloom again at the very end to catch a Brave Bird from the Skarmory which was clutch and definitely played a factor in winning. If I would have played the mid game matchup like I have in the past by just taking out the Lanturn too quickly with a lot of HP on my Gloom I would have lost the match because I would have given my opponent an opportunity to get a big lead on energy for their Talonflame and also I would not have had the opportunity to use Gloom later for a sacrifice swap to catch a charge move. So not allowing your opponent to bait out a Pokemon that they will be able to farm down easily for a lot of energy. I’ve lost so many matches in the past for giving my opponent the opportunity to farm down my Pokemon with a hard counter because they baited me to bring it in.
When it comes to team reading, there are multiple things to consider: * What does their pooemon team have in common? Are they made of a specific type? Do they share specific weaknesses. I.e Galar Stunfisk and Venusaur are both weak to fire - could this mean they have a suitable answer against a fire type in the back? * Are the opponents staying in a neutral to negative matchuo for far too long? This indicates the current pokemon you are using can core break them in the back (meaning your pokemon is also a good answer to one or maybe both pokemon in the back) The problem with content creator teams is once they are released to the public, almost all battlers would have taken into note how they function and 9/10 gets countered very quickly because they gained the knowledge to plan ahead of time. Keeping up with the meta is important, but also identifying key features of an opponents team (types, weaknesses of team cores, timing of shields for certain pokemon) can help identify potential win conditions to take advantage of. As someone who's hit Legend - it all comes down to learning how to run a team to the core; mastering how to play a specific way throught good and bad match ups, evaulating your play style, self discilpine, and patience.
The problem with the PVP thing, is that when I’m entering battles, almost every time, I’m being put against ppl with Pokémon that have a huge type advantage to me, EVERY TIME!
Same! My opener is skarmory, and I'm always running into people who open with magmar or another fire type. When I open with golduck, I get matched with people who open with a grass type.
Daxi, this is gold. I used to only focus on knowing teams and have kind of developed an instinct for counting and timing, but, obviously, that's the slow/innefective way. I want to win more, so I will dedicate and learn. Thanks for everything!
Thank you for always giving attention to PVP! You're a huge creator in the space and because of you more players (and hopefully Niantic) pay attention. Much love from Toronto.
What a video! You gave us an amazing guide. One thing I still have to improve is knowing when to shield and when not to (when they're still available), you could make a parte 2 talking about it and other things (when to switch, when to fake charged attacks).
This is an excellent video for people who have content or are planning to create pvp content. Personally, I've been knowing all of this skills but I haven't master them just because its not a priority for my time. So for all of you who have regular lifestyles, don't get frustrated. try to enjoy the game. Sometimes you win, Sometimes you lose, and sometimes the game itself screw you over. "the lag, algorithms and cheating bots"
You are the man, Daxi! As someone who came back since playing in 2018 I love your videos and how you carry yourself as a content creator. Keep up the good work man!
worth noting that sometimes its worth using bad timing so you throw your move before your opponent can throw theirs! Like in 2 vs 3, often times ill throw after 2 (or 3 if I win CMP) to make it so I throw before the opponent can reach and throw their charge move
The only problem with this is that pvp is rock scissors paper... look at anyones stats they never have 80%+ wins :) its like poker machines and gambling which is a SET UP!
Thankyou daxi this video is really going to help me progress this season ive been really enjoying pvp the past year and a bit i have alot of really good pvp mons i consider myself pretty good at pvp but i can never manage to get past rank 20 and its because of the technicalities for example my opponent sneaking a fast move while im using a charge move! Very informative video. Keep up the great work i appreciate ya bro!
I actually needed this so much. I was literally asking someone for tips because he’s higher rank than me and he gave me the same exact advice. Only thing is I didn’t quite understand the move timings thing he mentioned to me until seeing this video.
as a returning 2016 player.. when i stopped playing i was lvl 16 in 2017.. now almost lvl 32 after 4 months of play.. pvp is definitely tricky business.. i'm sticking to the great league atm.. been doing a ton of the training battles to learn which pokemon's do what rather than just going off the highest cp.. thanks for the info.. it was very helpful
the one thing i’ve always done is team reading and it’s how i’ve always tried to arrange my teams. (need to get better about timing charged moves) it’s def. more trial and error, but i’ve always used wildcards especially with charged attacks and it has been super successful for me 😂 yolo
I am decently good in pvp catching a lot charged moves and making some smp sac swaps ,but i am just here to finally take the time to learn charged move timing, because you can't trow on alignement against the buffed incernate
I think this is the most informative PVP video ever, Ive seen many other videos discussing the same topic but this one is concise and easy. Not to practice the theory!
Thank you thank you thank you THANK you, this is so useful, I have been looking for more info about counting fast moves and timing charged moves and you explain it so well 😀😍 Cheers from Sweden 🇸🇪 ❤
very salty Ace rank here. Excellent vid and terrific graphics! Being stuck at the same rank forever, this season, encouraged by DanOttowa's recent vids about move counts/mechanics, I'm going to try to start learning and hope i can squeeze out a few more wins this season. I'm gonna start by trying learning the most common counts 2 v 3 and 3 v 2.
About CMT, If your fast attack is same amount of turn with your opponent, you can try to use your charge attack at the same time with your opponent so that they can not sneak.
This is all great under perfect conditions, but I'm running into, all sorts of stuff, lag, situation last night when my team was completely un responsive while the other guy was hitting me at will, and sometimes people hit me with a charge move and in less time than it should be hit again with an other charge move and that was from a pokemon that hadn't entered the battle earlier.
I gotta say that you definitely will learn a lot through experience. I am by no means a master in th GBL but compared to When I first started GBL I absolutely hated it. However I continued to keep learning what moves a pokemon should be running and what pokemon are most recommended/ used so that I could better myself. After a lot of trial and error I now enjoy the GBL. Of course I still take loses but I don’t hate. It came down to me learning if and when to block and also when to use my own charge moves
This perfectly illustrates the problem with pvp. This is a game designed for children and casual players. Counting should not determine success, since the target demo won’t be bothered to learn this. It’s why ELO has to go.
My brother in christ, first off, counting alone is by no means the only part of winning in pvp. Secondly, the game is meant for children yes, but pokemon released in 1996 so alot of the children that used to play are now all adults. And if you think pokemon go pvp is complicated, just go take a look at pvp in the main series games (Though i agree GBL is trash, just not for the reasons you mentioned)
Why not? Some kids want to see how their skills improve over time. Why not giving dedicated players and casual players a same chance. U can do pvp and decide yourself how far you want to reach it
Such a helpful video. Thanks Dax!!! Wondering if you could do another video going a bit deeper into the counting moves? I honestly struggle to see the animation and know what to count sometime. I think my question is - how did you get good at the actual counting part?
In this season of Team Rocket takes over, Giovanni will own new Shadow Heatran, this in game event will take place during Lunar New Year event due to Heatran was mostly red in colour.
Very nice tutorial 👌 for a guy who used to clown me on live battle days for making accurate suggestions 😅 like ul battles 1 time you had a steel type and they swapped in tina. You swapped to your tina😂 when you could have taken multiple hits first and build up all kinds of energy. Clowned me on live stream. For shame😂
Well all this is very nice, but the ability you really need to master us having a fast internet. Most important power. If you lag you can't count, figure out timing for throwing and reading
The more simple a game the deeper you need to understand it to get an advantage. PVP is very simple if you look at it at a high level, but if you want to be competitive you would need to squeeze out all of the minute advantages that you can get.
You put in a lot of work, and I only watched the video so correct me if I’m wrong here. Your theory on timing is essentially “Don’t throw early because they could sneak in another fast attack. Instead, wait for them to throw the fast attack then throw your charge move.” Either way they are getting in that extra fast attack and energy gain. This only gives your opponent more of an opening.
Holy moly, i am playing this game for 1 1/2 year and Hit veteran this season and i Never played with sound, didnt even know u can hear the fastmoves xD, always count by view
You have to wait the entire cool down time after your last fast move before you can launch your charged move. Tapping repeatedly doesn't change that. Although PvP looks real time, it's not. It's entirely turn based where one turn is 0.5 sec. That means that sometime both attacks in the game happen simultaneously.
I have played Pokemon Go since 2016, and Go Battle League has been an elaborate feature of the game. However, I have definitely raged countless times over several of the most infuriating ways to lose. It really sucks though when this happens despite you having a good team, good moves, and implementing strategies (like stacking two Charged Attacks then firing them back to back to try to bait your opponent's shields). Part of your success also comes down to luck, simply because your opponent can have one Pokemon to thoroughly wreck your entire team. Here is a list of the five most annoying Pokemon to fight in Go Battle League in my opinion: #5: Togekiss - I could've really put any Fairy Type on this list like Granbull or Sylveon, simply because Charm is a Fast Attack that just does a ridiculous amount of damage. Pretty much the only Pokemon that don't take much damage from Charm are Steel and Poison Types, simply due to their resistance. - I chose Togekiss specifically because its dual Typing of Fairy/Flying. Plus, it can learn so many different Charged Attacks, including Aura Sphere to counter your Steel Types. #4: Melmetal - Meltan and Melmetal are interesting being Mythical Pokemon who actually debuted in Pokemon Go. However, Melmetal is so aggravating to battle because it's a pure Steel Type, meaning you don't have very many Types that are super effective, and most everything else is resisted. Plus, the Charged Attacks it can get (including Superpower, Thunderbolt, and Rock Slide) can make it effective at covering its weaknesses. #3: Dragonite - Most Dragon Types (with one notable exception, you'll know what it is soon) can take this spot, especially Pokemon like Salamence and Garchomp. However, I decided to give this spot to the very first Pseudo Legendary. Especially in Master League, so many people run Dragonite on their teams, almost making Ice Types all but mandatory on your own team to counter them. Obviously, the Typing of Dragon/Flying makes it a pain to fight efficiently. Even if you have things like Ice, Rock, and Steel Types for offensive and defensive advantages, Dragonite just does so much damage even with its Fast Attack. Plus, its Charged Attacks can often be loaded quickly (like Dragon Claw), or be extremely powerful (like Hyper Beam, Draco Meteor, or Outrage), meaning its not always viable to tank hits by not shielding. However, I think Superpower is the most infamous, because it gives Dragonite a way at countering its weaknesses. - Of course, you can use the lowered stats from moves like Superpower and Draco Meteor to your advantage by shielding against the first use so that you take no damage when it's at the most powerful. Unfortunately, that doesn't change how genuinely annoying it is when you see so many PVP opponents who use Dragonite. #2: Swampert - I've used Swampert on my team in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I know how good it is as a Pokemon. Its Typing of Water/Ground makes it only weak to Grass. That however is a major reading why battling against it can be so agonizing, especially in Go Battle League. - Not only can you not do much damage to Swampert because of it only being weak to Grass, but its Charged Attacks can completely screw you over big time. It can use moves like Surf, Muddy Water, and Earthquake. But none are as infuriating as Hydro Cannon. As you know, Hydro Cannon is a move that you acquire through Community Day events, the same goes with its counterparts like Frenzy Plant and Blast Burn. However, for some stupid reason, Hydro Cannon seems to load up faster than Frenzy Plant or Blast Burn, when realistically, they should take the same amount of time to do so. This is from first hand experience when I wound up facing a Swampert or something else with Hydro Cannon when I had something with Frenzy Plant or Blast Burn. - As you can guess, Hydro Cannon not only loads very quickly, but it can often wipe out your entire team, especially if you have stuff that's weak to Water that you had no way to see coming. - I'll also make an honorable mention for Greninja, because it often packs Hydro Cannon as well, but at least it has other weaknesses to give you an offensive advantage. #1: Haxorus This is the Dragon Type I didn't mention earlier, but that's because Haxorus is on a whole different level of agitating when compared to other Dragon Types. This is all because of the Charged Moves it gets. It can get Dragon Claw (like I have on my own Haxorus) and moves like Night Slash. But there's no Charged Attack that is more broken and overpowered than Breaking Swipe. That thing loads up too quickly, it does so much damage, and the worst part is it also lowers your own Attack. It especially stings when your opponent gets their Charged Move before you even get yours, even one that also loads quickly. Because of how quickly Breaking Swipe loads, chances are you'll likely get swept even when you use both of your Protect Shields. Ice and Fairy Types are an obvious counter to Haxorus, but that doesn't mean you're time facing Haxorus won't be a drag. - Haxorus isn't the only Pokemon that can learn Breaking Swipe either. Rhyperior is another notable example. I kid you not, I lost to a Rhyperior when I led with my shiny Sceptile which had Frenzy Plant. My opponent shielded against both of my Frenzy Plants, KO'd my Sceptile (because it had Rock Throw for a Fast Attack), and proceeded to wreck my Goodra with repeated Breaking Swipes, even after I used both of my own Protect Shields to block the first two hits. Another thing I truly hate about Go Battle League in general: when people switch out their Pokemon when they're at their last pixel of red HP. People could argue that they're saving their Pokemon for later, but the Pokemon is literally at the end of its rope, evidenced because when that Pokemon switches back in, it goes down to one more Fast Attack, not exaggerating at all. That's why they need to make it so you cannot switch your Pokemon out once it's in red HP, because it shouldn't be fair for you to be denied from what should've been a guaranteed KO. Those are my feelings on Go Battle League and my Top 5 most annoying Pokemon to fight. Go Battle League is a cool feature without a doubt, and I have had several enjoyable battles, even ones I've lost (specifically when it's a battle that comes down to the wire). But it's incredibly frustrating when you lose in some of the most agonizing and nonsensical ways possible. You seriously shouldn't have to play 10 battles or so to win 1 or 2. Let me know your thoughts and if there are any other specific Pokemon that are frustrating to battle.
On my way to battle with the three pokemons i like and has three star IVs with blind fast and charged move throw 🚶🚶(this all stuff you teaching is going above my mind)
Wow, great video! More info and instruction than I've ever seen on this subject. BUT, to much for me. Pokemon GO (and other Pokemon games) already take up to much space in my head. I only do PVP for events and tasks. But I will keep these tips in mind, and hopefully do a little better. Thank you so much for the great resources, though. :)

I totally agree. Thank you! Have a good one everyone!
@@crashnightgosonicvmaxI totally agree. I also won a lot today, my score was 15-7. (0-2 in last set so I only played 22 battles today.)
I’ve lost so many matches in the past for giving my opponent the opportunity to farm down my Pokemon with a hard counter because they baited me to bring it in.
holy yap nobody is reading that
Thank you for confirming that I do not care enough about PvP to do aaalll that 😂 incredibly thorough video though, fantastic content as always! 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Lmao right
Your diligence in siting and thanking your sources for your graphics and more is really great to see, good job man!
When it comes to team reading, there are multiple things to consider:
* What does their pooemon team have in common? Are they made of a specific type? Do they share specific weaknesses. I.e Galar Stunfisk and Venusaur are both weak to fire - could this mean they have a suitable answer against a fire type in the back?
* Are the opponents staying in a neutral to negative matchuo for far too long? This indicates the current pokemon you are using can core break them in the back (meaning your pokemon is also a good answer to one or maybe both pokemon in the back)
The problem with content creator teams is once they are released to the public, almost all battlers would have taken into note how they function and 9/10 gets countered very quickly because they gained the knowledge to plan ahead of time.
Stick to one... You will definitely encounter both types of opponent starters advantaged and disadvantaged...
It’s always so funny when somehow someway the pokemon my opponent has all three of them are type advantaged against me.
Run a neutral Pokémon then that doesn’t have a lot of weakness then?? Why you trying to predict what’s coming out
@@taxationistheft7 lol found the internet genius! I see one of you every day lol so pathetic
Best move timing explanation I have seen yet. Good job man.
I love that this guy made graphics! You can tell he spent time and is genuinely trying to help amazing video!
Hey man great video and awesome info. I do want to mention to check optical vs optimal in your charge move timing graphic. Much love bro!
Appreciate the effort you put into your videos. GGs Daxi. You the 🐐 bah bahhh bahh
I dont care about pvp, I just want 100 wins for the quest we got recently
Exactly
Its actually 500 wins
@@FIRST465 How Sway?🤔
You win 100... Resets to win another 100... Then guess what .... Resets to win another 100....then .....you get the idea
Make a team which is both a rock and a scissor. A team which has a strength typing against most types
Inspiring. Thank you so much, that explains a lot, specially that _sneaked in_ fast attack. I have definitely learned something.
You are my inspiration and idol, I have watched you for 3 years
I am decided to become legend in PVP cause I want that Pikachu Libre. Thank you for this, it’s a lot but will study those charts.
what IVS you use for ur pokemon? i mean do u care about ivs? like low attack ivs and high def and hp? oor how u do thanks
The much needed video for player likes us. Lots of love Daxi. Thanks for making this videos
ItsAXN is so fun to watch on twitch. He's very chill, the streams are informative and relaxing, and sometimes he'll PvP viewers as well.
I actually needed this so much. I was literally asking someone for tips because he’s higher rank than me and he gave me the same exact advice. Only thing is I didn’t quite understand the move timings thing he mentioned to me until seeing this video.
Really good, easy going and healthy vídeo. Competitive comunity apreciates It!
Great video! Learning exactly when to let all my attacks go is going to help me a lot.
Probably the best pvp tuto ever made on youtube
You explain PVP techniques beautifully.
as a returning 2016 player.. when i stopped playing i was lvl 16 in 2017.. now almost lvl 32 after 4 months of play.. pvp is definitely tricky business.. i'm sticking to the great league atm.. been doing a ton of the training battles to learn which pokemon's do what rather than just going off the highest cp.. thanks for the info.. it was very helpful
the one thing i’ve always done is team reading and it’s how i’ve always tried to arrange my teams.
Thank you much for your advice, that was exactly what I felt! And yes I’m fully aware of the fast move sneak 😂
Thank you thank you thank you THANK you, this is so useful, I have been looking for more info about counting fast moves and timing charged moves and you explain it so well 😀😍 Cheers from Sweden 🇸🇪 ❤
Thanks for all the work you do for these videos for us Daxi. You are appreciated 🤘🔥💯💯
very salty Ace rank here.
Thank you for this! So helpful! Now time to study and practice!
really helpful, for the charged move counting, I just feel it at this point XD
This is all great under perfect conditions, but I'm running into, all sorts of stuff, lag, situation last night when my team was completely un responsive while the other guy was hitting me at will, and sometimes people hit me with a charge move and in less time than it should be hit again with an other charge move and that was from a pokemon that hadn't entered the battle earlier.
You instantly got me with the beet meme. Perfect inclusion
I’ve caught many moves by just estimating how much energy my opponent has 😂 probably better to learn the counts. This was very helpful!
Thank you, Poke Daxi. You're amazing
One thing I'd like to touch on is perhaps explaining the benefits of "counting",
eg knowing your enemy hasn't reached X move, or catching moves
Amazing video, but I gracefully bow out and will just play for fun. Kudos to those who take it to another level
Been a fan forever and your graphics are awesome, thank you! Just need to point out that you gotta change “Optical” to “Optimal.”
The graphic is dope, great work !
This perfectly illustrates the problem with pvp. This is a game designed for children and casual players. Counting should not determine success, since the target demo won’t be bothered to learn this. It’s why ELO has to go.
Are you referring to children whose parents buy them cell phones?
My brother in christ, first off, counting alone is by no means the only part of winning in pvp.
Secondly, the game is meant for children yes, but pokemon released in 1996 so alot of the children that used to play are now all adults. And if you think pokemon go pvp is complicated, just go take a look at pvp in the main series games
(Though i agree GBL is trash, just not for the reasons you mentioned)
Why not? Some kids want to see how their skills improve over time. Why not giving dedicated players and casual players a same chance. U can do pvp and decide yourself how far you want to reach it
You don’t cater to the minority. If people want a sweaty game, they can go play valo.
no way they got us studying on quizlet for pokemon go 😭
5:08 Amazing animation and timing
Wow, after my 4 year hiatus, this game has certainly evolved! 🎉
Thanks again Daxi for theses tips on battling
thank you for making everything so sweaty now
I Hate It When You Click To Use Your Move, Then The Opponent Starts Their Attack (After You Click The Button) And Your Pokemon Faints And You Lose
Such a helpful video. Thanks Dax!!!
Wondering if you could do another video going a bit deeper into the counting moves? I honestly struggle to see the animation and know what to count sometime. I think my question is - how did you get good at the actual counting part?
2:33 is the golden time for chart , thanks me later
You're a legend for this. Subbed
In this season of Team Rocket takes over, Giovanni will own new Shadow Heatran, this in game event will take place during Lunar New Year event due to Heatran was mostly red in colour.
This video is so helpful to send to my friends !
CONGRATS ON 500K
nice to know my initial impression of pvp was accurate, it's basically all memorization lmao
Just having that Graff is dope now knowing what they may have
Very nice tutorial 👌 for a guy who used to clown me on live battle days for making accurate suggestions 😅 like ul battles 1 time you had a steel type and they swapped in tina.
What are the beats in the background? Those were actually bangers ngl
Instead, wait for them to throw the fast attack then throw your charge move.”
Either way they are getting in that extra fast attack and energy gain. This only gives your opponent more of an opening.
DAXI! Thank you so much man.
Holy moly, i am playing this game for 1 1/2 year and Hit veteran this season and i Never played with sound, didnt even know u can hear the fastmoves xD, always count by view
Great video man thank you for all your awesome advice
You help us like nobody else
What makes me mad is when you tap your charged move like 3 -5 times and then the opponent fires off theirs.
@@gunkulator1 Lol, I think you've found the problem!
Awesome!!! I missed you in New York .. smh
Congrats on 500k! subs :)
Great video! I've never reached Ace, U'm gonna try to at least reach Ace this season!
Here is a list of the five most annoying Pokemon to fight in Go Battle League in my opinion:
#5: Togekiss
- I could've really put any Fairy Type on this list like Granbull or Sylveon, simply because Charm is a Fast Attack that just does a ridiculous amount of damage.
#4: Melmetal
- Meltan and Melmetal are interesting being Mythical Pokemon who actually debuted in Pokemon Go.
#3: Dragonite
- Most Dragon Types (with one notable exception, you'll know what it is soon) can take this spot, especially Pokemon like Salamence and Garchomp.
#2: Swampert
- I've used Swampert on my team in Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I know how good it is as a Pokemon.
#1: Haxorus
This is the Dragon Type I didn't mention earlier, but that's because Haxorus is on a whole different level of agitating when compared to other Dragon Types.
This is a great video. Thank you!
On my way to battle with the three pokemons i like and has three star IVs with blind fast and charged move throw 🚶🚶(this all stuff you teaching is going above my mind)
Tonight, I lost a CMP tie and my opponent had double moves before I could throw mine. It’s rigged, doesn’t matter.. you’ll be at 50/50
Great video! Very informative!
Very helpful! Thank you!
