Hey there! Thanks for visiting. "Cañada" is the name of the area, the whole structure containing the river running across Cordoba is "La Cañada" which kind of translates to English as "the ravine". Kinda like a canyon but much smaller (the word has the same origins).
I often visit that parrilla, it is one of the best, and it is an expensive restaurant for the locals. Visitors love parillas and asados as much as we do!

Hi Sayu! Whenever you decided to come back to Córdoba you can respond to my comment so we can arrange to meet. I'm a local and it'd be a pleasure to take you to different places here, the beauty of Córdoba relies on the landscapes, some of the most beautiful villages, mountains and river are located here (if you take a bus those villages are easily reachable, beautiful scenes are about 1-2 hours away from Nueva Córdoba) I hope you had a blast visiting our city, hope to see you again around soon. Namasté

Hi my friend thanks for your kind words and great recommendations! To be honest I didn't know much about Cordoba before coming - I thought it would just be a place to see what Argentina was like other than Buenos Aires (and a bit about the Jesuit Block). The visit ended up totally blowing my mind, as there was so much to see and do around this amazing city (and the people were absolutely unbelievable). It was truly a pleasure to be in Cordoba, and I cannot wait to be there again, hopefully soon!! 🙏

I have noticed that you really like Paseo del buen pastor. I recommend that you read his story. You will be surprised when you find out that it used to be a women's prison.Thank you for visiting my city.

Hi!,that pool is public, but has water only in the summer lol. Cañada, the name is because of that structure you were filming the restaurant from, it´s like a valley with water, and it´s called "La Cañada", it translate like hollow or valley. Haven´t seen Buen Pastor yet it was nice to see it.

That's so interesting! Thank you for explaining where that name comes from (and why the pool is dry 😅) I kind of figured out the reason but too made I already filmed myself speaking lol so I'll just let it be a silly moment of my trip haha

The name "Capuchinos" comes from the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin. The world famous coffee drink, "cappuccino", gets its name from these Capuchin friars (referring to the color of their habit).
