I have been to Argentina and saw Buenos Aires but I must say that this city has even more character, much more my taste! Great video guys, beautifully put together!
I've been an expat in Cordoba for almost 20 years. This is a GREAT video, but the comment that you can experience Cordoba is 2-3 days is way off. How about Cordoba being the gateway to Carlos Paz that is one of the major tourist attractions in all of Argentina? How about that the capital of dove hunting in the WORLD is Cordoba Argentina? How about that one of the most up-and-coming software providers of the world is Cordoba, Argentina? OK... all that to say... it's a very interesting place. Oh, BTW... just don't carry anything valuable on you while you're doing your "tourist thing".... because the crime is so bad that they may kill you for your tennis shoes (the truth).
@@samwdavis We meant 2-3 days in the city, not the province as a whole! Totally agree with you that there's plenty more to see and do - we're especially fond of the little villages up in the Sierras!
My husband is from Córdoba and it’s been our dream to take our children there! We have 4 boys and they have all the other half of the family there. It would be a dream come true to go! Love your videos! And Feliz Día de la Independencia! 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Beatiful video, guys. I always say that Cordoba and Mendoza are so different from other places in our country. If you have a chance, I'd love to see a video on Villa General Belgrano, Los Reartes river and the surrounding area. Good luck with your hotel project.
How are you guys not on TV come on I love your channel and videos LOL you're like little pros your videos are just as good as what the professionals put on TV ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow. What a beautiful location. Blue skies, great architecture, amazing history. I would love to visit. Ironically, I am typing this in Paisley, West of Scotland and it is 23 Degrees, a veritable heatwave for us pasty, West Coast Scots xxx
Hi Guys!!!!. Se cae el cielo con tanta agua acá en Talcahuano!, pero vamos a recorrer Córdoba los cuatro. Somos Plinio, Luisa y Plinio Jr. desde Talcahuano, Chile!
Harriet and I have been to Argentina many times mostly to Buenos Aires. We have relatives that live there . What a gem of a city Cordoba is. Is it expensive to live there? Cordoba should be on everyone's radar scene when visiting Argentina. Thank You so much for taking us there. Sending you so much love 😍😍😍 Harriet, Jim and Yuki. Richmond. Va. P.S. Harriet and I sent you a donation for renovation project.
We're glad you enjoyed our tour around Cordoba. If Buenos Aires has Parisian flair, Cordoba is a taste of Spain! As for the cost of living, it's quite an affordable city, especially if you compare it to Buenos Aires or destinations further south in Patagonia. Wishing you all a happy week ahead and thank you for your kind donation!! 😊
Very recently I have gotten curious about Argentina. I’m thinking about learning Spanish and what it’s like to live there and heard Córdoba is a nice city. Thanks for making the content even though it’s more tourist orientated.
Thank you Samuel and Audrey, I am coming to Argentina in January 2023 to visit my family in Misiones. I shall be travelling to Cordoba and then onto Bariloche, where I take the tren Patagonico to Viedma, then back to Buenos Aires.. and Europe.. Your guide has been very useful, I have booked the hop on hop off bus, as I'm getting on in years.. Cordialement,
The Patio Olmos not only looks urban, but also contemporary and even upbeat for the shopping center that replaced a former boys' school in the second largest city of Argentina. That makes sense because, Audrey says, the shopping center opened in the 1990s! I think I might like Cordoba every bit as much as Buenos Aires, if I ever visit both cities.
Is the dish at 13:01-13:02 a dulce de leche flan? That looks delectable! You see, YOU are the party who inspired me to try Dulce de Leche. It was the flavor of cake at my college graduation reception, and I LOVED it! So now it turns out I ❤️ Dulce de Leche!
@@samuelandaudrey claro por eso están con ropa de verano!!!!me alegro mucho que hayan estado por esta ciudad,Córdoba capital y sus sierras ya están en el ❤️ de uds!!!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗
I haven't been back to Cordoba in 25 years. I was an exchange student. Still know a few people there. With that said I enjoy my creature comforts. Better to stay in a hotel or recommend an Airbnb? Also I want to explore outside Cordoba. Thought about a car rental, but driving there scares me. I am fluent in Spanish and I can drive a stick shift.
Hi Kevin, we've done both hotel and AirBnB stays in Cordoba. I would say, if you're only in Cordoba for a few days, a nice centrally located hotel does the trick. But if you want more of a local experience in a residential neighbourhood, then there are lots of AirBnBs to choose from. As for renting a car, I would do it only for the portion of the trip where you explore outside the city. If you pick it up at the airport, it's highway driving the whole time and you don't have to deal with downtown traffic. We've rented at the airport before to drive up to the Sierras, and it's really enjoyable once you get out of the city.
@@samuelandaudrey I'll probably do the centrally located hotel. Second question. Cash or credit card for most purchases? Either way I don't want to come off as the "rich" American
Muy lindo relato de nuestra Córdoba, les agrego un comentario sobre el ¡"shoping de la verguenza" Patio Olmos! Demolieron una Escuela con mucha historia para construir un centro comercial. Predominó los $$$$$$ sobre la educación.
One aspect I would've loved (And I am sure your viewers would) was if you two could've talked about the Cordobes accent, in comparison to the Porteno aka Lunfardo(BsAs slang). Nevertheless, wonderful work as always.
always beautiful Audrey. outfit amazing she know how to whear that clotes, especialy that nicest face and especialy lips hair and teeth like cristal uauuuu Congratulation my favorite just keep it on 😊😊🤗👍👍 I love you both

How come there were few people on the streets and park? Nice video in a nice city. Thank you.
Probably the time of day. The parks and the public squares come to life once the sun goes down.

I loved your explanations about Cordoba. So.....do you think that i can visit for just 2 days is enough? See ya
Yes, you could see a lot with 2 days, especially if you focus on the Jesuit Quarter.

Well...that is so wrong!! I live there, I'm argentinian and the city, the country sucks in every way !!

En eso estamos! Publicaremos lo más pronto que podamos.
Those buildings would have been in the times when the Jesuits were actually Catholic.
