    I have that Alpaka Hub Pouch. It's the perfect little pouch for me. Compact so I can carry the essentials, without it being too bulky or heavy.

    Griffin earjams. I discovered years ago. Basically this pouch only different cheaper material. I own five. Never used for its intended purpose but rather created mini edc pouches. Left side zipper I carry a few Tylenols and tums and on front listerine breath freshner. On the right small flashlight and multitool and rolling square small charging cable. I keep them each in different slings and backpacks. Very happy to see this pouch. It certainly appears to be higher quality and I will pick one up.

      I also use the Griffin earjams as a mini edc and noticed the uncanny similarity that these have with it. Actually came onto the comments just to see if anyone else was aware of them and/or had the same thoughts and ideas as I do.
      Firstly, I find the earjams are extremely useful because of its size and great portability and I've preferred it happily over my maxpedition micro which now lives in my hiking pack. The problem is that its become a tight squeeze with all my current gear addons. The outer fabric is starting to wear and I don't know how much longer the zipper will hold under all the added strain. So decided to order one of these and just relegate my Griffin to a simple boo boo kit or basic edc. The earjams now cost about $40 on ebay too so this modern XPAC FirmGuard is now the cheaper option lol.
      Also, having adequately used the griffin for so long with its miniature form factor, I really appreciate the freedom it allows and so was looking for something with slightly more size capacity to carry bank cards and came across the FirmGuards which apparently do. There is another Etsy EDC wallet from Ukraine that I ordered for around the same price that has this feature so eager to test that one also. These tiny pouches are a real winner in my book.

    Thanks! A great vdo because while at first glance, this may look like a "gadget", your explanations and the way you gave 2 examples of how to use it made me realize that I got to get something like this here in PL.

    I use a leather key pouch as a small edc pouch. Enough space for a small lamp, tweezers, mini champ, 20 euros, plasters, a chip fork and a pen.
    I leave the resqme hanging on the outside on the key ring.

    As my sister in Bath would say "That's bloody brilliant!" 👍
    As a retired peace officer, who carried my mini own personal medkit, and I still do, this would be perfect. Today, at an advanced age,I'm susceptible to abrasions and such. I'm constantly ripping myself up, and this would be perfect for the bandages, small sterile wipes, and ointment I'm in need of. Excellent!👍
    My thanks for this review. Checked my "petty cash" for this month, and I'll be ordering one in the next few minutes. It'll be quite handy to have with me, as some folks suspect I'm a victim of elderly abuse, or fallen down a few stairs. But no, I'm always bumping into things and getting torn up. Old age is not for the faint of heart. 😖

    Can you fit credit cards in it? If it can, it can be an ideal wallet/ minimal EDC.

      @MoorlanderEDC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I just check and you can definitely fit a credit card inside. That's a great shout. I'll drop a photo now on my community page

    question, can u do a video on wots the best source tactical water bladder to be used with the 511 rush 12, 24 & 72 packs

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Personally I find Camelbak to be the best however if push came to shove you can pick any of them up from a outdoor store or bike shop and they'll be fine. If you want to fully tactical buy some 1" or 25mm tubular webbing to put around your hydration hose. It makes it last longer, protects it from the sun and lots cool as hell 😃

    • @IV_RAD_VI
      @IV_RAD_VI 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MoorlanderEDC yeah I've got camelbaks and have used them for years unfortunately I don't find them robust enough to survive being chucked about or survive a belgian malinois or fit well it the the 511 rush packs, I ended up getting 2 of there low profile tactical blades and thay are perfect fit and can survive a malinois (but thay won't work/fit with the 511 moab sling)...

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@IV_RAD_VI aaaaaaah... Very few hydration bladders pass the fabled Belgian Malinois 😂 the only thing I can think that might would be from Qore Performance. They make bladders that are similar to a armour plate insert. They can be filled with water and even frozen. They're definitely more rigid and robust. I think one of those would fit in the laptop/hydration sleeve... And potentially out 'Hulk Smash' your maligator 🤙

    interesting lil pouch :)
    I will wait to have these in EU, I finished importing and pay 50% more in customs and taxes ;)

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm not 100% sure but as these are less than $150 there's no import duty. For us in the UK there's a sweet spot of £135. Anything that's there or below there's no extra tax. Some times I'll by two things and pay for shipping twice to save on taxes 🤙🤣

    • @jolly207
      @jolly207 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      How much was shipping to the UK? And how much in total including VAT?

    •  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MoorlanderEDC I can just say what I had since last 3-4 years, for my imports from USA and GB (grrrrr Brexit !!!!!!!!!) I had always transportation costs (normal) + customs fees + taxes so depending of the base amount (normal cost + transport) it can be a +50% extra money to pay :( and so (specially sorry for my GB friends) I must close orders to them :/
      (strange thing: if I had not much orders from China but I never had extra costs for Aliexpress, OneTigris, Vosteed, Maxace,... or Temu orders by examples)

    Having the zip in that colour really makes it look more like a purse than a pouch.

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Maybe 🤣 I'm sure they might consider making them with black zips. I love the zips this colour. It's got that Gucci bling 🤙
