I’m calling it, AJ never escaped at all, or at the very least she never got to ponyville. In fact, I’d wager she’s dead. But I think Twilight in some way or another took/drank some variant of the sleeping potion and gave it to all of the mane six. Unlike how it was in the first story, where the ending suggested maybe it had an unreliable narrator with there never being any potion, THIS is the one with the unreliable narration. They’re suffering the effects of the potion and hallucinating AJ the same way she imagined Filthy Rich. We’re getting the perspective of them stuck in the madness we didn’t get with AJ originally.

Well the narrator wasn’t the one saying that. It was twilight herself, the potion DID exist, but twilight denied its claim of existence so she could have deniability. Remember in the first part AJ was hallucinating and believed that filthy rich was attacking her when he wasn’t, so what if they all somehow ingested the potion (keep in mind flutter shy mentions about eating the desserts pinkie prepared before and how they tasted off, maybe somehow it was in there) and that there all simply hallucinating AJ because of there guilty conscience.

It’s interesting how each mane six have their own perspective of how apple would look and act after all those years in prison

It was Pinkiepie that saw her as a demon, not Fluttershy.
@@nonamenoname9322 i like to think that it was both of them that saw AJ as a demon, i guess they both just have different concepts of what a demon acts or looks like, in this case AJ, or they have different perspectives on what AJ supposedly looks like after so long, but then again it is being theorized that what remains of the mane six have drank the potion that pushed AJ to the point of insanity in the first place.

So basically it's kind of similar towards the inverted shadow's own story of the elements of insanity, excluding TF 2 characters course a great series I highly recommend watching can't wait to see more of this current story.

I'm gonna run with the theory that this is Appleblooms doing, since it's been teased and left ominous what happened to her. And seeing she's studied potions before, she could've given it to the remaining mane 6 as a sort of revenge since it was "their" fault she lost her sister, something she held onto so dearly.

I have to admit, AJ’s second voice really freaked me out.
The stark contrast from Lost’s voice where AJ is rough, angered, and loud is the complete opposite to the additional voice.
AJ’s second voice being calm, quiet, and even sweet sounding really hits hard as such a pretty voice says such awful and disturbing things.
The softer voice is definitely more disturbing, usually softer voices in the context of a horror story are already terrifying, especially if the voice belongs to the antagonist, it either grants people a false sense of security, or activates their fight or flight instinct and cause them to react irrationally, or cause them to freeze completely, for me this is personally the reason why bad guys with softer voices freak me out so much, it's precisely why Mama Bear from Dark Deception creeps me the hell out, in this context it does a great job with making AJ all the more scarier.
Tldr, Bad guys with friendly sounding voices are terrifying, and it fits AJ like a charm in this case.

Idk you tell me what she’s thinking within her and what her goal is complete or not or they can idk just kill her off like I know they might hesitate but it’s the only way to end her rein of terror and maybe going to hell after wards for AJ! But still?
My prediction here is the same as what some others have posited: AJ isn't actually present at all in the story. This is just the girls collectively hallucinating after accidentally imbibing the Sleep Prevention Potion. There's numerous hints that point toward this. Applejack is mysteriously able to avoid any damage thrown her way. None of the others besides the Mane Six react to her. I'm calling it. Twilight accidentally killed Starlight when she blew a hole in the wall. Pinkie stabbed Mrs. Cake. Fluttershy killed her animals without provocation.
I’m honestly leaning towards this theory purely because in the last vid Twilight said that some of the potions Applejack drank were indigestible. According to this worlds logic, she should’ve like- exploded or thrown up by now if she really was there.

It would explain why Starlight seemed confused while dying, why the cake family didn't want Pinkie to even touch them, and why even when "demonized" the animals stopped for a moment when Fluttershy killed the bear.
I leaned to this theory too because Mr cake pushed pinkie away angerly and it could explain why pound cake was just so desperate from getting away from her and when animals all just stopped in fear when Fluttershy killed hairy
This is my theory too. Though I also think Twilight pulled another stupid idiot moment and caused this somehow. (I don't actually hate Twilight, but I sure as hell hate this Twi in this story)
In 2020 Twilight successfully gaslit me when I saw the first one, thinking that the potion not being real was some sort of plot twist. I can't believe I got gaslit by Twilight frickin' Sparkle smh.
That happend to me too. But it was mainly becouse I had only basic understanding of english. When I re-listened it not so long ago, it hit me hard. I hate this version of Twilight, what a princess of friendship. 🙄
I was completely right to doubt myself when Twilight said the potion didn't exist in the first place, it just seems too convenient and even suspicious, i even felt sorry for AJ at the original Applesleep's end, but it only because she never got to know what happened to Applebloom so it's nice to see that the potions existence was basically proven by the brand new narrative here. But then again, the original apple sleep experiment didn't say the potion didn't exist after all, that was just Twilight trying to save face and forget she played a role in AJ's downward spiral into sleep deprived induced depravity. (Real tongue twister there wow)

I like how you can hear Fluttershy's animals trying to reason with her amidst the madness. You can even hear them speaking to each other asking "What is she doing?" at 49:00
Plot twist: AJ's not doing this because her friends abandoned her, but because of all of the years of background pony jokes.
I know everyone in the live chat was commenting on the audio mixing (which is AMAZING) but I didn't realize until listening another time around during Fluttershy's segment that some of the muffled/distant voices in the background, not the glitching/overlaying narration, but actual lines of dialogue, are what the animals are saying to Fluttershy. Things like "but I'm hungry..." when she was shoving them outside, and crying out her name upon seeing her next to Angel, saying "we can't let her get away with this" right before the big fight. Even during the fight, I heard muffled lines of "don't touch me", "we should help her" and "what is she doing?".
This is all supporting the idea that Applejack isn't physically there, maybe she doesn't even exist, more of a hallucination caused by stress, sleeplessness and grief. Because if she was.. why wouldn't any of the animals comment on her being there?

So from what ive watched, and what ive read in the comments, this is the theory i have:
Applejack did escape. But she didnt get directly to ponyville. She went to the farm. She found her family, along being Apple Bloom who was severely hurt from the incident but happy to see her sister having been cured. The family blamed her friends, mostly twilight after Apple Jack let them know the whole time, none of them sent her anything or tried to visit her. (The true reasoning that twilight didnt want the friends finding out she did actually give her a potion that caused this, so she would have friends and family turned away and all letters and packages sent back.) AJ told her family the truth about the potion. Apple Bloom became furious with the friends, and used her lessons in potion making to remake the potion but slightly different. To make it more potent and with the taste of rotten apples so that it would make them think of apples and in turn Apple Jack, while also making their stomachs upset. Apple bloom then makes her way to the castle and into the kitchen and offers a hoof to Pinky to which she gratefully accepts with all the things shes making. As Apple Bloom helps, she sneaks potion in to every desert. Whenever Pinky noticed, Apple Bloom would just say its vanilla, and that a little goes into any desert to help boost the flavors. Once the deserts are done and everything has been tainted with the potion, Pinky offers some to Apple Bloom to which she lets her know she has to leave, Big Mac told her to be home by a certain time and it was a few minutes til as she rushes out the door.
Pinky then gets the treats out to her friend's which they all eat one of everything. Everything thats tainted with potent version of the sleeping potion. And the last thing they all looked at was the sculpture of Apple Jack.
Twilight destroyed her own potion room which is how the lock was undone.
Starlight was scared and locked her door and a shard of the crystal wall flew and killed her when Twilight burst it open.
Pinky killed Mrs.Cake
She pulled down the curtain and lit the house on fire.
Fluttershys animals were trying to get her attention as they usually did when they could sense something was wrong, that she took as them still being hungry and being aggressive.
She closed them in a closet. She saw angel bunny and went for him. Though when they crashed into the wall, his neck broke. Harry managed to open the door and saw a deranged looking Fluttershy over a dead angel bunny who started fighting them. He defended himself and accidentally sliced her thigh. She then killed him with the idea he was trying to kill her. The animals were shocked and were trying to get past her to escape to which she beat the rest of them under the guise that they were attacking her.
Theyre all suffering from the potion, but a more potent form.

This theory is genuinely so awesome, also the bit of Applebloom becoming furious with the rest of the main six (considering in this theories context she isn't dead or dying just gravely injured but alive) makes sense, it also shows how fierce her love towards her family is, or at least AJ since she idolize's her to some extent. Thinking about it for an alternate universe definitely.

Eh I don't rlly see Applebloom being the type, or any of them being the type to do such a thing, KNOWING what would happen if they took it, that innocent lives would be taken.

Okay my first theory was that Twilight had accidentally or intentionally drank the sleep experiment and Applejack was all an illusion in her head from the guilt and the potion... But now I believe they all drank it and are reliving the horror that Applejack went through..

Remember in Apple Sleep Experiment how AJ was hallucinating in the first part? She was so sure filthy rich was taunting her but he essentially wasn’t. What if this is the case with the mane 6? So haunted by there own guilty conscience that there hallucinating AJ and spreading chaos through that? I mean in the part with pinkie if AJ truly was there would pound and the father have blamed pinkie and refused to follow? No they would have followed her immediately. There simply is NO applejack and it’s all in there heads.
Edit: I also want to add that during the part with pinkie applejack was seen just.. chilling in the fire??? Obviously even if she somehow was there and maybe the potions effected her, she still would of reacted in some way to the fire (remember when pinkie threw the hot Carmel at AJ she reacted by SCREAMING in agony, yet somehow the fire touching her does absolutely nothing to her. To also add she would have been consumed by the flames and thus stuck in the building, yet somehow at the exact same time she’s going after flutter shy. The timing simply makes no sense.

I'm picking up on the additional voices going on in their heads from another Voice Actors (as well as the second Applejack voice)
I betcha they're being experimented on in some way and the guilt along with other emotions is causing it

I thought it was just the potion but then Fluttershy and Pinkie had it too. And Twilight would never have given them the potion.
So this could be a lack of sleep plus extreme paranoia.

I don’t know why Twilight would ever attempt to use that potion again, she really does seem guilty of it in the first place (to me, at least).
But it was mentioned how this huge event was making the rest of the six work night after night, there’s no doubt they haven’t slept for a while and even been overworked, it wasn’t exactly the potion that made Applejack go crazy, but the lack of sleep it gave her.
Twilight, Pinkie, Fluttershy, maybe even more, they’re all going through the very thing Twilight had lied to Applejack about in the first place.

In defense of the caramel vs the fire, boiling caramel is HOT. It can leave serious burns even if you touch it for just a second, that stuff can mess u up
I think Applejack has been dead this whole time and this truly is just the sleep potion mixed with the heavy guilt.... I wouldn't say it was so far-fetched to think this was the rest of the apple family's revenge discovering what really happened all those years ago and wanted to avenge their fallen family...

Wait.. Did pinkie kill Mrs Cake? Mr Cake ran away from her so we aren’t sure why (besides protecting pumpkin) and Pound had a very interesting reaction.. he tried to escape her, he bit her, kicked her, struggled against her… I don’t think he’d do that since he was practically raised by her. I think she might have killed Mrs Cake in front of the cake Twins and Mr Cake, prompting their reactions. Maybe they all might have drank the potion? It explains why Applejack sounds and looks different pony to pony, and why Applejack is practically invincible. Starlight’s confused glare? The struggling from Poundcake? Fluttershy’s sudden aggressive and hate? And she’s been like that for at least a day, since Rainbowdash was confused by her angry reaction to her being late, not to mention the glitches… sounds like they drank the potion either by mistake or somepony poisoned them with the potion. Maybe AJ did escape but didn’t do anything in the story other than poison them with the potion. Thanks for listening to my theory :)
I agree with you completely, though technically Pound could have been fighting to go back into his mum, truly not believing she was dead and needed help.

The eerie, solemn music during Fluttershy's part mixed with the taunting whispers of her name before Fluttershy goes mad is incredibly haunting and really fits the hopeless, sinister feeling of being trapped and being hunted. Very well done.
At first I thought that Twilight was the one going on a rampage but it seems as tho all of the main Six are having a shared psychosis that might be brought by sleep deprivation. This begs the question, wtf is Luna doing??

What if Celestia and Luna requested them to not tell the truth to save Applejack from execution? It would've been a bad idea to do in the first place because there would be mobs of Ponies who seriously Applejack executed and want her blood and I don't think Twilight Spike and their remaining friends telling her what happened to Apple Bloom would've made things better either.

I feel like they are hallucinating due to fatigue, as Pinkie shows signs of great fatigue and some madness, and also because they feel guilty.And how did AJ know about Twilight's secret lab. Especially those sounds and screen noise in the background that made me feel this way

Damn Fluttershy really let that dawg out she had a whole super saiyan transformation moment like her seeing angel cut in half and then she transforms into a super saiyan.
Part two was.....AMAZING
I really like the idea of AJ targeting them and everything they love. It'll be interesting to see Applejack and rainbow dash...as well as rarity... I feel really bad for fluttershy and Pinkie knowing their love was for family and what they do.
Its just so sinister and dark and awful and I’m not sure if I’m gonna sleep well tonight 😅
The whole thing does feel like a blind vengence, causing just as much, if not more, suffering and pain to those not connected to the moment(simplest point being only one of them being fully aware to the potion's existence, and to something bigger in the casualities not even connected except by their friendship).
Perhaps there'll be a moment of regret from whoever is behind this(someone from the Apple family as some are saying, or in some twisted way, Twilight herself partially due to the title as she's the only one who has conducted such an experiment before while using it on herself to be seen as just another victim).

And if Applejack did escape from prison there are going to be bounty awards demanding her turned in for even worse crimes.
I have a theory. Applejack is either dead or still locked up in Canterlot prison because it’s appearing that Applejack is a hallucination to the main six. This could explain why she’s fast, immune to fire, seamlessly invincible. I also noticed that no other pony besides the main six themselves acknowledged Applejack was even there (Mr. Cake and the twins didn’t acknowledge Applejacks presence at all). I think maybe some pony else is at play with all of this like getting the main six to drink the sleep potion and causing them to hallucinate all these things and committing horrible acts like Applejack did when she drank it? Applejack with every one of her victims she killed, she always hallucinated she was beating and killing Filthy Rich. Twilight accidentally killed Starlight by blasting a hold through the wall. This could explain why Starlight was in a state of confusion towards Twilight before she died. Pinkie accidentally stabbed and killed Mrs. Cake with the knife. This could explain why Mr. Cake pushed Pinkie away in such a angrily manner instead of escaping with the cake twins to safety and Pound Cake being so desperate to escape from Pinkie to the point he bit her. When he did escape from Pinkie, he took off running away from her. Fluttershy turned against her animals and killed them including Angel in defense, survival, and them being “demonized” by “Applejack”. The seemingly “demonized” animals even stopped in shock after Fluttershy killed Hairy the bear until “Applejack” resumed the animals to continue attacking her. I noticed the narration that continuously distorted every time the ponies were in deep thought and the time when it came to “defending” themselves from “Applejack”. This is very similar to Applejack’s distorted thoughts and actions. Pinkie was up at the crack hours baking cakes (Applejack was up at the crack hours canning zap apples)… Pinkie was performing multiple tasks (Applejack was performing multiple tasks)… Pinkie got annoyed very easily (Applejack got annoyed easily and went off on Apple Bloom)… Applejack appeared differently to Twilight, Pinkie, and Fluttershy. For Twilight, AJ appeared malnourished and a insane maniac. For Pinkie, she appeared very vengeful and unforgiving towards her. For Fluttershy, she appeared as being a demonic black magic user who used her powers to turn her animals on her.
Overall, I think some pony else got the main six to drink the sleep potion to see how it reacts on different ponies… Conducting another experiment perhaps?

So Pinkie & Fluttershy are at a new low now. They betrayed their own identities. So I’ll take it that’s AJ’s plan, not to kill the other Mane 6 (excluding Starlight who took her place) but instead to make them every bit as low as she was forced to become.

Twilight must have given herself, Pinkie, and Fluttershy the Sleepless potion without knowing. Probably why the AJ Twilight said "Does that make me the experimenter or the experiment?" She used them to experiment on a new version of the potion.
Or Sweetie And Scootaloo spiked their drinks with the potion to get revenge for what happened to Apple Bloom and the rest of the Apples.

After rewatching both parts, I'm noticing each of what's left of the mane six seemed to have wildly different variations on how AJ looks. She was malnourished but quick with Twilight but was built large and had her rugged hat with Pinkie and glowing eyes and full of dark magic with Fluttershy's perspective. Its either a) the different potions AJ consumed are having wildly different effects or b) all of them are suffering some sort of mental break due to exhaustion with Twilight possibly putting some kind of potion in that tea. Potion like the one she gave to AppleJack 7 years prior. It would explain Pinkie's ability to stay up for 3 days and continuously bake. Twilight's clear exhaustion but still able to keep up with the preparations. Fluttershy's obvious grouchiness and bags under her eyes but still have the energy to put her animals first. The potion would also explain other things like how Starlight was sad and confused as she held her slit neck after coincidentally Twilight held shards of glass in her magic. Or how Pinkie's family didn't hear the noise AJ was creating but only came rushing down the stairs as Pinkie threw knives and burned the kitched down. And how Pound Cake ran away from her whe she tried to save him from the fire. Or, how Fluttershy's animals (mostly consisting of prey animals) were not sensing any danger even as Fluttershy irged them to run. But then again, Pinkie DOES have a lot of energy on ADHD insomia levels and Twilight is known to pull all nighters constantly and fret about celebrations. And Fluttershy could've been mad and drain from Rarity's extreme attention to very minor details. Maybe there was no potion at all. Maybe they all had seperate mental breaks with the stress and time of year. Or maybe, even c) Discord could be behind it all to break apart the elements of harmony. Guess we'll only know when the rest of the story comes out.
I was thinking this in the first part, but now more certain of it in this one: AJ isn't physically there at all, but somehow she's able to get into the heads of the others and convince them that she IS there. Twilight killed Starlight, Pinkie killed Mrs. Cake, and Fluttershy killed her animals. I did see someone mention how it could be how each pony interprets what AJ might look/act like after all the time she spent in prison, and that's the version they see when she "appears", which would explain why some accounts of her have specific weaponry/tools and others don't.
No matter what, I absolutely LOVE how this series is going and I cannot wait for the next part!!

Twilight, Pinkie, and Fluttershy are forced to live in order to face the fact that their lives have been torn out from under them. AJ is making them suffer her nightmare.
I have no idea if AJ is real or just a hallucination shared by the rest of the Mane Cast, like others have suggested, but either way this is delicious poetic justice.

There's no justice anywhere. Pinkie never did anything to her, neither did Starlight, or the Cakes she killed, or Fluttershy. If she just went after Twilight, then she'd have a justification, but she's became just an insane and vindictive killer. Either that or the theory that all the mane 6 somehow drank the sleepless potion is correct, although i really hope this isn't the case.
I can say that whatever pity felt for Applejack in the first story is gone in the sequel, since Applejack is hurting innocent ponies and this time she doesn't have a sleepless potion as an excuse. Something's for sure, tho, everyone's she's messing with seems to have come to the conclusion she has to be killed, so there is a chance they'll start hunting her down, and if that's gonna be the case, then, ngl, i'd look forward to seeing that hunt take place

Jesus tap dancing Christ, I thought the first Apple Sleep experiment was messed up, but this is a whole other level of demented in the best way possible. Well done, Lost, you and the team have outdone yourselves again. The way the multiple narrators overlap and the visuals distort really allows us to see the deteriorating mental states of the characters. Also, I don’t think Applejack is there at all, like, this is all a hallucination from lack of sleep. Guess this makes the Mane 6 the experimented this time around….I cannot wait to see where this goes next.
I’m not sure why but this one line just had me laughing at bit when applejack said “ANIMALS KILL ANIMALS ALL THE TIME SURVIVAL OF THE FITIST FLUTTERSHY” caught me off guard I guess also the whispers were a nice touch
i cannot be the only one who is on applejack's side. after all, twilight was the one who drove her to this level of pure insanity with the sleepless potion. she did try to warn applejack, yes, but applejack was trying to look out for her family. all she wanted to do was repay that debt of hers and her family's.

She's going too far. It's one thing to exact her revenge on the deserving, but Fluttershy and Pinkie were both too kind. Their "excuse" is that neither of them are really strong enough to stand up for themselves initially, usually being pushed to the limit before even considering it.
That just seems contrarian? Twilight wouldn't have fully understood the effects of the potion, and I think it's safe to assume would've tried damn hard to cure it. Even so, being a victim or of not sound mind doesn't _justify_ revenge - nothing does - especially if it involves committing such heinous violence upon innocents. You can't be held accountable necessarily, but you can't be dismissed to act as the "arbiter of justice" either, that's kind of ridiculous.
Applesleep is so emotionally gut-wrenching because there _is_ no one to blame; it's a tragic and needless cruelty, leaving so many with directionless, bottled-up guilt and grief. You don't have to be on anyone's "side". Uh, if you take this sequel at face value, at least, for now until we have more context...

Okay so all of the main 6 are somehow affected by the same thing Twilight was in the first. Applejack is also definitely not real. Considering the fact both Twilight Fluttershy and Pinkie aren’t sleeping and are both shown to be very twitchy (and the voice distortions) I’m assuming it is the sleep potion amplifying their emotions and causing them to see Applejack (like how the potion amplified Applejacks rage and made her see Filthy Rich) but I don’t know how they all ingested the potion. Also my god Pinkie killing the entire pie family except pound and Fluttershy killing all her animals 0-0

Considering that the Potion took over Aj is crazy. I do have theory about Filthy rich and the others. Twilight took the potion and gave her a SMALL anmesia. She confronted Aj saying she doesn't remember giving it to her. (Definitely the side effects of the potion she took) it wasn't completely twilight's fault. Applejack is at fault too. But in reality the true fault is The potion. I'll probably do alot of theories about this.

God, the first part of this video already got me unnerved...but the second part...I was left speechless. absolutely stunned and horrified.

If you listen closely during the Fluttershy section, you can hear the thoughts of some of the animals peeking through. Some notable examples I caught were “but we’re hungryyyyy” as Fluttershy tries to shoo them out, and “Is she okay?” As attention is brought to Angelbunny
I was there for the premiere and the amount of people who genuinely despise Twilight for all of this is somewhat disconcerting. That aside, this was very enjoyable to watch and I can’t wait for the next installment

I guess people are angry at her for actually abandoning Aj, hiding the truth about why she went nuts and trying to gaslight Aj into believing it's her fault alone. And from what we saw she didn't really stop experimenting with potions of the same kind that driven her friend to insanity. So understandable that people are angry at her mostly. Because FR is dead already anyway.

A nice little break from the psychological torment.
I predict that AJ is just an illusion to the mane six as a result of their guilt, there really was no potion and instead just the aftermath of being overworked of which had originally drove AJ to madness. From what we can see in these episodes, It’s a pattern that all of the ponies will have been overworked and exhausted, causing them to submit to the same insanity of which caused AJ’s fate. They would all cause a horrific disaster to happen without knowing it, like their brain had gone on autopilot the second enough had been enough, Pinkie murdered Ms Cake, which was why Mr Cake was refusing her help in anger, and why Pound Cake was trying his best to get away from her in complete and utter fear.
This could all just be a theory of which could not be true, but that’s where I’m seeing this series ending, when the plot twist is that they were all overworked and caused them all to be driven mad to the point of homicide ( insane decisions )
It would explain the bits of distortion between each narration, the anomalies in audio and images would only occur when the focused pony would feel guilt, an intrusive, overly aggressive or violent thought of an extreme emotion of either anger or sadness, and sometimes the narration would mimic the voice of the pony we’d be watching, as if that specific pony is narrating to themselves.
The deaths are so sus. I think the others are on the same pathway as AJ did, but not in the sense that they’ll have the same outcome. Plus, the victims could have easily been killed by the mane 6

It's really interesting how the story mimics the first one! The first one ending in Twilight passing out, just like how Applejack did, and then the next scene being a young character being woken up by another character having seemingly stayed up all night in the kitchen...

also, I like how with Fluttershy, AJ’s voice isn’t so deep and gravely, instead she sounds just the way she did before the whole disaster. It sounds like the Applejack that Fluttershy once knew. And that’s what makes all her degradation hurt even worse.

Ive also noticed each of them see applejack differently, twilight saw her without her hat, no more than a skeleton. Pinkie saw her with her hat, messy but not emaciated with her toolbelt, and fluttershy saw her with her hat and muddy, but her fur is still bright orange and she ONLY had the shovel. Not to mention her voice is slighty different to each pony.
Given the close timeline of their encounters, this raises suspicions.
I agree with the theory that the remaining mane 6 are hallucinating, especially with the way apple is described in the fire during pinkies part, then theres how apple found twi's hidden lab and got past a magic lock
Yea it’s all so..suspicious and coincidental (impossibly coincidental). Plus her injuries from each pony she terrorizes doesn’t get described by the next main 6 members. Neither Pinkie nor Flutters mentioned cuts (from the glass with Twilight or the other injuries she might of had I forgor), and Flutters doesn’t mention burns or caramel..she’s also the only one to mention glowing red eyes and that weird possession ability

Fluttershy's animals have turned on her. Applejack is just a killing machine and enjoys seeing her friends suffer. Is she going to go after Rarity and Rainbow next now? So much despair we are witnessing. Applejack has completely lost her sanity and the love she had with her friends. Lost makes a scary Applejack when she's angry. Great story telling from you and Mag! Incredible video, each of the Mane Six is losing what/who was most dear to them the way Applejack lost Applebloom due to the potion
IMO there's two possibilities to explain what's going on
1. Applejack isn't there, she's actually dead (might have died soon after the first story considering how Pinkie's mail got returned) and the other Mane Six ingested the sleep potion either by accident or on purpose to get everything ready for the memorial
2. Applejack did escape but she hasn't done anything other than somehow slip the others the no sleep potion, causing them to hallucinate and destroy everything they hold dear the same way Applejack did. She's somewhere near by watching the carnage unfold

But I had an idea, this ain't Apple Jack, I don't think Apple Jack has actually been in an episode so far in this new series, let me explain. In "Russian Sleep Experiment," which this is based off, the premise is about how a lack if sleep can release essentially insanity and how sleep is the one barrier keeping it back, dumbed down but that's what you need to know. Both Pinkie and Fluttershy were both experiencing some form of sleep deprivation, not just that but the audio-visual hallucinations that Apple Jack was experiencing in Apple Sleep Experiment, it is possible that those killed were killed by who we were following at the time. Here is my thinking, Mrs Cake had died from a knife being thrown at her, earlier Pinkie had been throwing knifes at "Apple Jack," but I believe most had missed, it is entirely possible that Mrs. Cake had been there the whole time and had been hit by one of the knifes throw at Apple Jack, further more from what I remember Apple Jack hadn't been hit by a knife when Pinkie ran into Mrs. Cake, however when Pinkie turned around, there was a knife lodged in Apple Jack's chest, perhaps showing a disconnect that was formed in the hallucinations by het mind. With Fluttershy, when Applejack appeared the first thing she did was start getting the animals out of the house, but they were acting like Applejack wasn't there, like Fluttershy was imagining things. Then, when no one else was in the room with the Angel Bunny died, though I was in my own head at the time and didn't catch how angel bunny died, however there is a chance that Fluttershy somehow incidently killed Angel bunny in a similar fashion as to what happened to Pinkie. Additionally, what I am just remembering to put now and not earlier, Pinkie had tried to pull Mr. Cake out, but he just "angerly" pulled his wife away from her, and when she tried to get the pegasus Cake twin, I do not know who that one is the idiot that I am, the foal bit her, when Pinkie was outside of the house she saw Applejack in the window in the burning house, fire around her. With Fluttershy, when the door was opened she saw Applejack trying to mind control her bear, don't know it's name either though I think "Harry" was mentioned somewhere and I think that name could fit a bear, but Fluttershy attacked it before the bear tried to attack her. At the end when also hear Fluttershy fighting the other animals, but, correct me if I'm wrong, we really only hear her grunting in exertion, not anything else. When Fluttershy was strangling the bear, it was mentioned they the other animals "joined the fray" or something like IMPLYING that they were going to attack Fluttershy when they could have been trying to pull her off the bear, though I wasn't paying attention there either, I will rewatch and edit my comment. Additionally, every version of Applejack looked different so far, in episode one with Twilight she looked almost like a rotten apple and almost animalistic (edit: like she has been rotting in prison), with Pinkie she looks mostly healed but still a little bit bruised and a little demonish, with Fluttershy she wad not only fully healed, from what I remember, but she was also fully demonic, red pupil and all. Additionally, in the first episode Applejack had been dodging all the blasts that Twilight had been firing at her after drinking a potion that gave her super speed, however it can't be completely ruled out that it was a hallucination, which could explain how Starlight was hit by they blast from Twilight, as I remember that it how she died, though it could be wrong. It is entirely possible that THIS is the Experiment, as there wasn't really one in the original reading, though I guess you could say it was Twilight's test run on how it could affect normal Ponies. If, though, this is an experiment this means that there is a 3rd party that is controlling it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Rainbow Dash the only one, if any, that wasn't showing signs of sleep deprivation in the first episode, besides maybe Starlight, it could be my mind tricking me, but it could be that Rainbow is the "control group," or the group that stays normal (if my knowledge of science in highschool isn't failing me like my mind is), if so it would make since for one of them to be the control group as they are all close to eachother, or it might be possible that Rainbow dash's natural speed is causing an unintended result in the reaction with the potion, though this ramble about Rainbow dash being the control group can, atleast for tonight, be disregarded as I cannot remember clearly how Rainbow dash was acting, besides just being cheerful. If this is an experiment, I don't know who could be the third party, maybe the crusaders/Apple family as they did lose Apple Jack as well as possibly Apple Bloom, or she was atleast grievously wounded after she was kicked by Apple Jack. Finally, I want to touch on the voices, because I can't remember if I have touched on them yet, it is almost as if it's the "things" from Russian Sleep experiment influencing them to "do there bidding" almost, if someone could, try to compare everyone's actions/reactions to the patients in Russian Sleep experiment, because I am just remembering how the people in the experiment were acting a little bit different. I will try to remember to come back to this post later if possible as it is late, I have one assignment I need to turn in for a math class tonight, one I need to get done Monday, as well as a quiz for both that math class as well as French on Monday that I have to study for. I will fact check myself by editing this comment, as well as putting g disclaimers in this at the beginning for what might disprove this theory, if I can find any/if any are in the replies. Additionally, if any thing of note comes up in the replies that I see, if there are over 100 replies I might not see/might not check for a bit, I will try to add them to this comment as well as try to credit the people who commented them. I have a feeling Apple Jack never escaped. Either dead or still alive but still in her prison. Even if she did escape it's merely impossible for her to go unnoticed. Twilight's discription of A.J sounds like the most likely way A.J would look since she would probably be aware of A.J's condition.however i think everyone is sleep deprived. Either twilight tested a potion or they are just depriving themselves of sleep by themselves or it could be a different reason.they are all hillucinating and here's why i think that's the case:
Twilight having a secret room that no one seems to know about and the door is locked by magic. No way AJ could get in there before her. Twilight is also the kind of person to obsess over things and takes them too far at times. The fact that twilight is unable to open the door is something.either locked from the other side or starlight was locking it with magic ((the latter can only be the case if twilight was chasing a hillucination and scared starlightght)) magic bounced off the castle door was a bit off. Not sure if the door is like that because of what its made of. I noticed a few people bring up Starlights confusion . I think she was confused because she could not exactly tell what twilight was saying because she is bleeding to death here but also that Twilight accidentally killed her
Pinkie is a bit more clear. She looks HELLA SLEEP DEPRIVED so she is more likely to hillucinate on her own even without a potion. She's been making treats non stop so it makes sense.she sees AJ way differently compared to twilight and unlike twi being blamed for how AJ ended up pinkie sees AJ as an old friend that felt betrayed and forgotten.someone she gave up on and she feels guilty about it. Notice how the cakes SOMEHOW don't hear AJ nor Pinkie. I think they did and probably noticed Pinkie acting off and talking to something that's not there but feels real. The sceane where pinkie throws the knives could have been a result of her accidentally killing mrs cake .the cakes don't seem to react to AJ before this at all . The fire is told to be pinkie's doing fore being careless .and AJ stayed in the fire as if she is immune clearly not possible
Fluttershy is already tired and has been so busy that she was unable to take care of her animal friends properly for probably dayd And this time the animals decided to act on instinct to attack her. After she kills the bear the rest of the animals attack her for it .the betrayal of Fluttershy killing one of them plus their hunger amplified their violent behaviour . AJ is seen as someone that can control the animals and is discribed way differenly here too . But fluttershy's cottage is on the otherside of ponyville (correct me if i am wrong) how has no one spotted her or heard her. With broken hined legs there is no way she would be fast let alone get to fluttershy's cottage THAT quickly without being seen after the fire at sugar cube corner. Notice how AJ only appears when the girls alone befor anyone dies
