    I'm glad you made this video. I didn't know they were coming out with more products for the line. I'm looking for a good, but cheaper deep conditioner. I might give the deep conditioner a try depending on the price.

    I just bought the black castor oil & flaxseed oil at Walgreen . It caught my eye because is a combination of oil / gel and that’s the only style of product that gives me definition. I’ve been using edge control for definition but the containers are very small, so this big jar is the real deal....I bought two jars.

    The 48 hr moisture control has on the top good for edge control and braids. I'm sure twists would be fine. I tried it and it was soft and actually light on the head.
    Your hair is BEAUTIFUL though.

    A good tip I've found for laid edges is gel first then edge control. Keracares edge control works wonder for me. This method does get build up after like the 3rd day tho.

    • @FinallyAmber
      @FinallyAmber  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! It wasn't a problem with how to lay my edges, though, this product just don't have a lasting hold, in my opinion, so that's what I was speaking on. The keracare also does nothing for me, but the shine is amazing with that one.

  • @SouthernBelle662
    @SouthernBelle662 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    That's def more of a "jam" if you're familiar with let's jam that you use for braiding .

    • @FinallyAmber
      @FinallyAmber  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep i'm familiar with Let's Jam and the consistency of these products weren't even the same as that. A wax is the best way I can describe both. Much stiffer than jam.

    Great review.....Dimethicone is a water-soluble it's not really bad😉

    • @vanessa31966

      Correction....Dimethicone copolyol

    • @FinallyAmber
      @FinallyAmber  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not "bad" at all. But it's a silicone. Which is not curly girl friendly, which is why I don't use it.

    • @FinallyAmber
      @FinallyAmber  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm well aware of silicones, their functions and which are water soluble. In fact, I have dozens of blog posts about it. 🙂 That still doesn't change the fact that I don't like putting them on MY hair.

    • @trinityasabea

      I got them from a local beauty supply store, love. I said this in the video. Every Beauty Supply Store does not sell them yet so you will just have to look in your local ones.
