I have to say I'm only 5 minutes in but you're insanely perceptive. You note that 1) greenery is lacking within the city, 2) that despite that Aerith does have flowers and 3) that there's a city underneath the top floor. Quite detail-oriented. 17:08 "It's a big reason I'm probably not gonna look at comments until I'm done with this game." Good idea.
She is very perceptive. I've never seen someone notice the slums from the opening title shot of the city. People usually can barely grasp what they are looking at and she noticed what was between the gaps of the plates. That's crazy perceptive in my opinion

Numerous streamers miss that Shinra purposefully blow up the Reactor, she instantly remarks that the Whispers are not noticed by the troopers, and so on.
No spoilers here: A real quick note. Ff7 as a whole is a game where information isnt given plainly. By this i mean you will learn things based on beliefs, truths based on what the person knows, etc. The series is also filled with visual and audio symbolism; if you notice patterns point them out, its helpful for those watching with you.
Please don’t drop all the not quite spoilers but are really that you do on all the other streamers. Let the girl enjoy it and learn it herself no one needs your notes, no offence.

One of those games and franchises that you just learn to experience rather than play thru , Cyn. My first FF Game was playing thru XIII end of last year and it was such a a wonderful time. I still have XIII-2 , lightning Returns , Zodiac Age (10) & 7 to play thru and love every minute of. Plus having Brianas Whites input into it (the VA of Aerith) is wonderful - if the two of you did a team up and a chat , it would be HEAVEN 🎉🎉❤
Awesome, im new to final fantasy as well. My first Final Fantasy game was FF16 last year. I absolutely loved getting the platinum for that game. Then this year I bought the digital deluxe twin pack for Rebirth and both the FF7 remake/Rebirth games are part of my all time favorite games now. =)
2:20 Yes each final fantasy game is basically different world/universe/characters that have nothing to do with other games in the series unless its something like "final fantasy X-2" which is a direct sequel to final fantaxy X with same world,characters etc. Some games in the series even have more futuristic setting while others have more medieval setting. But there are some same enemies,summons etc that carryover throughout the series.
I never finished the original back in the day (stopped a little after Kalm) but knew the story roughly and watched Advent Children and fell in love with the world and characters. I finished Remake and now am playing through the original and loving it!

Just a couple tips that will help u TREMENDOUSLY if u haven't already figured it out....When an enemy is "pressured", use the "focused" abilities ASAP. For Cloud, it's focused thrust....Barret-focused shot....Tifa-focused strike. These abilities exist SPECIFICALLY to raise the stagger bar, and do so better than anything in the game when an enemy is in the pressured state. Enjoy the game! Hope I was able to help!

I was gonna say take your time with this,but I remembered these are really prerecorded. In the demo the past scene was not in in between "Cloud and Tifa. So when the game released I thought that great. This game has easily one of the stories in history of gaming. I absolutely love it. The mystery and drama. Chef's kiss👌
Remake is Good but Rebirth is much much better , starting with remake is almost essential for the story to make sense , have fun if you decide to do both in 1 game , u will have over 150-200hours of gameplay !

Its crazy to see how many people first met the FF7 characters through Kingdom Hearts lol, a few of my friends did too. Best to forget everything you know about them from Kingdom Hearts though, they are completely different characters.

Dont skip these games. They may seem like bad games, but its not true once you get into it. Besides, the newer games wouldnt have the stagger system without final fantasy XIII as well as the updated ATB system with FFX-2😂
Probably won’t read this and I understand why, but there was a moment you were trying to counter attack when guarding and thinking there was a window, but the counter attack only works while in punisher mode. Hope you enjoy this game tho, I’ve played thru it four times and got the platinum twice, it’s such a good game.
I have two primary suggestions, although you may have already figured this out on your own. The main thing to remember with punisher mode is the melee counter. That is its biggest feature, even more than the big white sweeping attacks. It's very good for pressuring people and for people that defend. Second, some skills specifically are designed for building the pressure meter or stagger meter. They often will be focused something. Those are best utilized once you have pressured. The other ones are best once they are staggered

I tried watch someone play and they just kept getting shot and they weren't even trying to block or ddge,they just kept getting blasted and never moved around the enemy. You're gonna love this girl! All you need to know about Cloud right now is that he's really a lost man who doesn't exactly have his priorities in order acting like this Ex-SOLIDER who's now a merc for hire and hardly cares about anything but money. Though as you saw he also has a fractured mind problem causing haunting hallucinations of Sephiroth, though there maybe more to it than that. Anyway Shinra has just set them up by enhancing the explosion causing collateral damage in the city to make Avalanche look like the bad guys to the public.

I like how this is not a live stream so there is no chat distracting you, and how much attention you’re paying to the details of the game. But how come the continue button on the menu was lit up and none of the achievements are popping up?
This must be your first Cyn video. She hates achievement pop-ups and normally just has them off. As for the continue button? Maybe she needed to re-record the intro or started the game without an intro and had to go back.
I know you prolly won't read this since you're avoiding comments (smart call, btw), but Cloud's counterattack only works while blocking in Punisher mode. That's why it wasn't working all those times you were blocking in Operator mode.

FF4 and FF6 would be great if you want to visit the older ones, they are the best of the classics in my opinion. FF14 is pretty enjoyable too if you like MMOs, plus its free to play for the first 70 levels of content, doesn't hurt giving it a shot if you think you'd like it.

Everyone here in the comments watching MY favorite streamer play THEIR favorite game is such a neat experience. So much rightful appreciation for somebody who works harder than anyone I’ve met before, someone who has perception greater than a mythological owl, someone who dedicates all five of their brain cells (five more than I have) to learning and theorizing about an impeccable story… Yeah, my heart is full.
(Also I say it like that to specify that I’m not a FF nut, but the idea of people rightfully appreciating your first-time experience with their favorite game is beautiful to see. I hope they enjoy the ride, like I did with Uncharted)

Btw FF13, X-2 and 15 is known to have the worst story in FF series so yes you did right to not follow the story in those.

Dont skip these games. They may seem like bad games, but its not true once you get into it. Besides, the newer games wouldnt have the stagger system without final fantasy XIII as well as the updated ATB system with FFX-2😂

Probably won’t read this and I understand why, but there was a moment you were trying to counter attack when guarding and thinking there was a window, but the counter attack only works while in punisher mode. Hope you enjoy this game tho, I’ve played thru it four times and got the platinum twice, it’s such a good game.

I have two primary suggestions, although you may have already figured this out on your own. The main thing to remember with punisher mode is the melee counter. That is its biggest feature, even more than the big white sweeping attacks. It's very good for pressuring people and for people that defend. Second, some skills specifically are designed for building the pressure meter or stagger meter. They often will be focused something. Those are best utilized once you have pressured. The other ones are best once they are staggered

25:37. Just ran right past the loot box 😂. And another one early which is fine ofc. What I really love she hits the big machine enemies from the side and behind. I tried watch someone play and they just kept getting shot and they weren't even trying to block or ddge,they just kept getting blasted and never moved around the enemy. I play games really good so it's fantastic watching "Cynthetic play games because she doesn't suck 😂. 👍

Bruening "Strange Rebel Gaming herself is "Aerith in the game. I mastered the demo back on my Ps4 Pro before release on "April 10. I absolutely love this game and cast. What amazing game start,right after my favorite franchise "Uncharted. You are absolutely killing it. "CYNTHETIC 💕

You're gonna love this girl! All you need to know about Cloud right now is that he's really a lost man who doesn't exactly have his priorities in order acting like this Ex-SOLIDER who's now a merc for hire and hardly cares about anything but money. Though as you saw he also has a fractured mind problem causing haunting hallucinations of Sephiroth, though there maybe more to it than that.
Anyway Shinra has just set them up by enhancing the explosion causing collateral damage in the city to make Avalanche look like the bad guys to the public.
Why do guys feel they need to explain everything to women? 😂

Searched for Mass Effect playthroughs a while back - that's how I found your channel. Then I found you recently when you started playing Uncharted but you were already in 4th part so I didn't get a chance to go on the journey with you from the very beginning.

I like how this is not a live stream so there is no chat distracting you, and how much attention you’re paying to the details of the game. But how come the continue button on the menu was lit up and none of the achievements are popping up?
This must be your first Cyn video. She hates achievement pop-ups and normally just has them off. As for the continue button? Maybe she needed to re-record the intro or started the game without an intro and had to go back.

Honestly FF7 is such a good game. And the remake is as good as remakes can be. All around masterfully done. And that music, mesmerizing...

I know you prolly won't read this since you're avoiding comments (smart call, btw), but Cloud's counterattack only works while blocking in Punisher mode. That's why it wasn't working all those times you were blocking in Operator mode.

FF4 and FF6 would be great if you want to visit the older ones, they are the best of the classics in my opinion. FF14 is pretty enjoyable too if you like MMOs, plus its free to play for the first 70 levels of content, doesn't hurt giving it a shot if you think you'd like it.
