Pretty late but damn dude. You got good flying skills. This is just Ultra Instinct Trigger. Or at least Mobius 1. Imagine being an Erusean Ace stationed to protect the Alicorn and you just see this lone Pilot with an F4 shooting down your Allies and just dodging Missiles every times. It’s even worse for the Veteran Erusean Aces cause they are up against the same Pilot that kicked their asses last time.
I tried to do a full playthrough with the Phantom on Ace with no checkpoint resets. SP-03 was by far the hardest mission. You can't do it unless you have considerable engine upgrades and takeoff weight aug or hardpoint expansion. So your maneuverability is severely limited. Meaning if you even get to the part where you are engaging the sub, you spend 80% of your time avoiding missiles. My advice is to utilize high-speed bombing runs only. Conserve your missiles.
Need to dust off AC7 some time, I appreciate/respect the ISAF emblems on the F-4. I haven't played in a while but I assume Mobius 1's skin isn't in the game for it?
Gonna go out on a limb and assume that the ADMM takes multiple hits to kill an aircraft. Meaning it'll weaken them plenty for your allies to poach kills and thus lower your overall score.
@@ChromaDragon yeah, the allied AI has a noticably higher competence level in the DLC missions, which can be a problem especially in SPM3, where they will often steal those juicy SACS Rafale and SLUAV points
I hope with the next AC, it isnt so scripted. Like for example we should be able to use MRP to call in support or be able to choose fuel loads, just make it a tad more realistic
We have enough realism in flight sim games already, Ace Combat being a tad unrealistic is absolutely fine. In fact we need more arcade type flight games like AC with Project Wingman being a very fun game and a good start.
It’s the balance of realism and arcade that matters, 04 and 6 had a stellar mix of the two hence why their gameplay is the best in the series. 7 seems a bit too cartoonish for a lot of people. Hence why op mentioned wanting a little more realism. That doesn’t mean we won’t get fun elements, rather it enhances the game and makes it replayable and interesting
Nope. When you run flat out of missiles the game will slowly regenerate two, and only two, missiles at a time. It's so you can't end up completely helpless.

Piece of cake. Mihaly trained Yellow 13 who was his *equal* when the guy was being trained… Yellow 13 only got better with war experience and time, hence why he went on to command Erusia’s top fighter squadron. Mihaly stands little chance against the one who downed the legendary Yellow squadron
@@halfsoulkaneki1995 All planes have it once you ran out of your standard missiles. Its just a safety measure in the game since missions are bigger and larger compared to previous titles. Its not a tech or anything, its only for std missiles when you run out of it. Spec missiles don't reload throughout the entire mission.

As for the Phantom, it's got its own DLC pack as far as I'm aware, it was just initially available as a preorder bonus before the game launched.
How did u manage to play in expert control...locking and movingbthe aircraft in expert is so different from standard and its really angering me to the point where i wanna knock out the creator of this game. My head hurts when the aircraft rolls when im in expert, and it takes a while to turn on a target when im locked on him...this game is really angering me...

The problem is that this is the first Ace Combat game i played and i didnt knew about the expert controls until like faceless soldier level when i first played it. Then when i saw people online getting S ranks in expert it raged me as im struggling to get used to expert. I play well im standard but this game i struggle with turning in epxert mode as my aircraft keeps crashing to the ground or barrel roll instead of turning. My main struggle is with ground targets as i keep crashing onto the ground or barell roll instead of turning. No game in my gaminh history ever raged me in terms of controls like this game.
Don't compare this to WT- trust me. Two completely different kinds of flight model there. Being good at one won't really help with the other. Your best bet for Expert controls, if you ask me, are to plug in a controller. Even a cheap Xbox 360 controller will do. I recorded all this gameplay on PC with a Dualshock 4 because, truth be told, I don't like mouse and keyboard for Ace Combat.
@@ChromaDragon I use Xbox controller. When I use left stick for an invert it goes up and rolls…when I need a hard right it rolls to a side. And keeping eyes on a target with lock my goodness it’s hard in expert.
That's strange. The left stick should literally just be Push forward -> nose down Pull back -> nose up Push left -> roll left Push right -> roll right Anything else (such as pulling the nose up AND rolling simultaneously) sounds like a calibration issue. Also for what it's worth, holding Y will track your locked target, though using that in tandem with actually flying takes a bit of practice.
This game looks nice, but it is so nonsensical from any aspect, be it dialogue, story, physics or even common sense. I mean, how are those ships doing like 800 kph?
Yeah, it's a bit of mercy that the older games lacked. Many memories in AC5 of me running out of missiles entirely from killing things too much, and then having to leave it up to the AI.

The fact that enemy f4s pilots basically state that both them and their plane are past their prime and in comes triggers f4 just sweeping the field.
They might be past their best as pilots, but Trigger's tapped into his Ultra Instinct.

The Phantom is part of its own DLC pack, or as a pre-order bonus.
As for the SP missions, they show up in their own menu category if memory serves.

It's all I've ever known since the early Ace Combats. Never touched the Standard control option, it just doesn't feel right to me.
