    I have the whole kit except the electrical fan, do you think it’ll be fine with the stock fan ? Or just buy the last piece ?

      Stock fan likes to blow up ! E fan or diesel BMW fan is best

    Hi I have this same system but need to bleed it can you please tell me how to do this as I'm having trouble. Is it through the level check stick I use as a bleed screw or? Thanks

    • @DriftHQ

      Jack up the front of the car and leave the cap off, keep refilling until there is no more bubbles. You could use a funnel for the bleeding process.

    The hose that sticks out of the expansion tank does that just vent to atmosphere?

    • @DriftHQ
      @DriftHQ  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No the hose goes from top of the expansion tank, to top of radiator at drivers side, to bleed air out of the system

      It looks like there’s a bolt still inserted on the side and just remove and install sensor

    I cannot get the new expansion tank to line up with the original fan shroud like you did. It's too high by an inch or so. Tried playing with the bottom hose to no avail. The other small hose that runs along the top of the radiator is a bit short now, and won't reach the expansion tank like the original. I am about to go back to the original expansion tank. That would suck because it defeats the purpose of replacing both. Any ideas? Did you have to cut anything at the bottom of the fan shroud to make your tank fit correctly?

      @TehVikingsOwn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Vann,
      Did you reuse the old shroud, or go to the Mishimoto shroud and fan setup?

      @vannmann9597 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TehVikingsOwn Hey Alex hope you doing well bud. I am still waiting for resolution from mishimoto. They are supposed to send me another one. If this doesn't solve the problem will have to go back to my plastic tank

      @@vannmann9597 Gotcha, I was able to use my stock fan shroud. With just the fan shroud out of the car, and the tank, does it fit? No hoses/interference

    • @vannmann9597
      @vannmann9597 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TehVikingsOwn I hope the new one makes a difference I highly doubt it if their mass produced but you never know. I might have got that 1 bad 1 out of a 1000.

    • @vannmann9597
      @vannmann9597 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TehVikingsOwn Yes. If you compare the original with the Mishi the original sits nice & centered with room for the hose. The Mishimoto is a little larger in diameter due to the flair on the bottom inlet. It takes up all the room needed for a hose to fit around the new tank at the bottom.
