Ahead of their highly anticipated comeback on Monday, we are FINALLY diving into all the other GOT7 members after having reacted to BamBam a few months ago! MY QUESTION TO YOU - I highly enjoyed all of these and loved going into the details, now should I do a Catching Up On GOT7 with their 4 most viewed M/V's ahead of Monday as my first time reacting to them as a group, or should I instead have the comeback be the first full group impression? Please let me know what you would prefer and enjoy the extra long video!
A little waiting is fun ^.^ After that, you can go back, watching them from the very first and you'll see the growth of GOT7. Actually, in my opinion, their B-sides are more GOT7-ish instead of their title track. So, maybe you can see their performance on Studio Choom or Dingo Music other than only seeing the official MV.
its upto you if you wanna check them out before their comeback or not but yeah if you are checking them before their comeback then do check out these songs - LULLABY , YOU CALLING MY NAME , NOT BY THE MOON , THURSDAY ( this one is a bside track but performance video is available )and ECLIPSE. (4 out of the 5 songs given are produced by the members themselves.) In case you are gonna check them out on their comeback then pls do check their entire album of this comeback. all songs are bop . they have already released a highlight medley of this comeback. and also their name is not pronounced as g-o-t 7 but got7. also our fandom name is ahgase which in english means baby bird. and also thank you so much for reacting to them.
If you do MVs first I would say reacting to "Not By the Moon" and "You calling my name" and two Bsides (example "Breath" or "Teenager" or "Aura" or "1°degree) their Bsides are more of their true sound. If you do the comeback first is also fine, do how you feel like it 😊💚
I would suggest you focus on their come back and slowly go back to the past works. They themselves worked hard for the past years to bring together this come back and fans has high expectation.

Jinyoung is the king of falsetto. You can never find more heavenly falsetto than him in kpop
Jackson is Chinese solo artist (sing, dance,rap, produce, write and direct) his music under his own company TEAM WANG
His songs are on billboards, charts, US radio... he is also on Forbes too🥰

Jinyoung hasn’t got a proper music video out because he was mainly focusing on acting but he did release this song and then released this live vocal production which was just great.

Youngjae only trained for a short 7 months when he came to JYP. He already had major vocal talent. He was the last member to join Got7! He has a gorgeous voice on all levels

Jackson has been a soloist for 5 years now so he has more experience and a bigger discography than the others. If you plan to check out more of their solos his MVs will be a fantastic start along with Switch It Up Live Clip by JAY B, Take You Down & I Want U Around by Yugyeom, Tasty Live by Youngjae, Ride or Die and Pandora by Bambam and Mark’s other MVs as well. Jinyoung doesn’t have another release as yet. For the group, Not By The Moon MV, Aura Blindfold Dingo Performance and Poison Studio Choom would be a great start.

Jay B just back to his roots, r&b hip hop music. His song, sunrise deserve to hear.
Mark is from LA. MV filmed in US. He has his own production team. Hr also has My Life and Save Me. All amazing masterpieces. He wrote about his life in Korea coming from the US/ learning how to deal with all of it! He wanted to write songs that everyone could relate to in their lives too.
You should check out more of Jackson Wang. I'm pretty sure you'd fall in love with his music. Try 'Drive You Home, Titanic, 100 ways & LMLY'

Jinyoung does not have as many solo promotions because he has become a very"in demand" kdrama tv star....
Mark is Korean-American from LA.
BamBam is from Thailand.
Jackson is from China.
The other 4 are all from Korea.
Youngjae is with Sublime Entertainment Company focusing on his singing. He has also been the lead in a musical and has done Korean Dramas too. He also is the regular DJ on MBC radio station. Very busy!
also, both JAY B and Yugyeom are under k-hiphop labels that were created by Jay Park (also ex-JYP 10 years ago) at that time Jay Park was their CEO but he stepped down at the end of 2021. Hence the similarities!
JAY B has also done so many featurings that have all ended up on my top 10 most listened to songs of 2022 (my current faves being JUNNY, JAY B - nostalgia and BIGONE ft JAY B - Windy Day) which just proves that he can pull off many different genres if you have time to react!
Jinyoung signed with BH ent which is an acting company so last year he filmed several dramas and released the single DIVE bc he knew fans wanted to hear him sing as well. His album is in the works!
and all the members are writers and producers and every member can rap and sing!

Jinyoung is the actor in the group so we were lucky to get this solo from him. His voice is gorgeous! He recently did an OST Shining on your Night from his latest Kdrama Yumi's Cells Season 2.

It's "GOT" "7" and not G.O.T.7 😊
- GOT7 was debuted as a hiphop group and they do a lot of stunts hence mark's position for MAT. they all trained martial arts tricking but mark, jackson and jayb are the ones who usually do it
- the seven members are all producers so they make their owns songs both as a solo and as a group. JayB however is the one who usually makes music for GOT7 specially their title tracks
-Mark's english is good because he's american. GOT7 has 3 foreign members, mark from LA, jackson from HongKong and bambam from thailand. All of them are fluent in english as jackson studied in an international school and bam taught himself english because all of them don't know how to speak korean when they first went to korea and the only mode of their communication was body language and english. The ATK (amerithaikong or the foreign line) often speaks english among themselves that the korean line learned english naturally. all of them can understand english and can speak pretty good english. they can also speak in japanese since they used to be very active in japan and some members are pretty good in chinese
-jayb has a wide vocal range, he can also switch in every genres but he basically focuses on rnb in his tracks rather than a ballad which most main vocals go for.

Yu-gee-yum pronounced. We call him Yugy for short. He is the Dancing Machine of GOT7! HE is with AOMG. He loves freestyle/house dancing. He won 1st place on Hit the Stage Korean Music Show. He recently had his solo concert in Europe in Germany and France and England this month. Also has his own SoundCloud. He also has written and composed songs for Got7 and also does alot of choreo for Got7 too. So talented on all levels. He has a solo album called Point of View:U and his album is a masterpiece too

I don't think Jackson song is just about cigarettes. Perhaps giving us hints of what's going on in entertainment world.
mark tuan has his own company called "DNA studio" and signed to CAA to manage his works in america, and his own company in china to manage his activities in china. he wrote his all solo songs and some dope songs for got7 too. last breath is written about his past experiences in korea. mv is shooted in america. his high school friend directed the mv. mark also sang a song for marvel movie and the song is "never gonna come down"ft Bibi.
Jackson has an album called Magic Man coming out in September! Can't wait! Blow is on it of course! OMG!
Jay B and Jinyoung got into JYP with their dancing skills. They actually tied for first place in their audition together. They also made JJ Project. They are the parents of Got7! They performed from 2012 to 2014 and then became part of Got7 in 2014. They also made an album in 2017 to celebrate their 5th Anniversary. The album is called Verse 2 all written and composed by them

All members write and produce, Jay B and Youngjae have producers name that show up instead of their names. Jay B producer name is Def and Youngjae producer name is Ars.
You like Yugyeom voice he sounds great live, he did all the songs on his album live. Got7 in general are known for their live vocals and performances.

Yes Mark wrote it all! He has an album coming out this year 2022! New single IMYSM out on July 1st! So good! He and his team made this and filmed in California where Mark is from(Mark is from LA)
I think it woul be good to hear different songs from GOT7 before the CB, but I think it's up to you.. I would also recommend the Ultimate Guide to GOT7 by OT7AHGA but it was made in 2020 and is very outdated right now.. I know they are working on making a renewed guide 💚💚
Jinyoung is not a sub vocal, he's a lead vocal the same goes for Yugyeom.. Their voices are to good to be subvocalists 😌
JayB or Jaebeom is my Ult of Ults.. He has actually written and composed the title track NaNaNa from their new album.. He composes under the name Def and Youngjae under the name Ars 😉

I would recommend reacting to the new music video and then go back and check them out from the beginning.
Also you mentioned watching their top viewed videos. Most of these songs are their earlier work and before they had a say in their style. So while the songs are great, it’s also not the GOT7 from the last four or so years.
Their b-sides are great as well!

They are all individually in different companies but signed as a group under Warner Music Korea. The group has never disbanded. They left JYP like you said when their contracts ended but have always maintained they are still together.
The rap line (Mark, Jackson, and BamBam) are all foreigners.
Jinyoung is also an actor and spent most of the past year in his acting. He’s great so that might be something to check out in the future.
Jay B, Yugyeom, Youngjae, and BamBam all released albums. Jay B also has an EP under his producing name Def.
Jackson has his own label TeamWang since 2017. He released an album a few years ago called Mirrors, also a mixtape this year called Lost & Found. He has a lot of music so he will be fun to dive into.
Jackson and Mark are releasing albums sometime soon and BamBam has said he’s new album is also ready!

I'd recommend you watch at least 3 of their older songs before their comeback. Maybe their debut, Girls Girls Girls, their last song Last Piece or Breath, and then one in the middle, If You Do, You Calling My Name, or Not By the Moon
Jayb and Yugyeom aren’t doing rap lol I think you might be confused with genre of music. This is rnb there was 0 rap on their songs. Also both of them are signed to rap/rnb label which suits their personal style since debut they are the 2 members that were the most rnb oriented so their songs weren’t a surprise when it got out.
