The person who requested GOT7 is right - they didn't disband. They were formed by JYP, but all of them left and either joined other companies or started managing themselves.
Just because they left JYP, people think they disbanded.
All of them have solo careers, but still make music as GOT7 - as evidenced by the "Nanana" MV and album, which was after the departure from JYP. And one of the members spoiled that they are working on new music :)
It's just harder because of military service and because they have members from 4 different countries (Korea, China [Hong Kong], USA and Thailand). They are all constantly in different time zones.
It's worth noting that their leader Jay B (formerly known as JB) was the one who made sure that they could still be GOT7. Previously in kpop, there have been cases where the whole group decided to leave their company and the company prevented them from using their brand - as the company has the rights to everything, not the members.
Jay B studied and researched everything, prepared the documents, talked to the CEO etc., so when GOT7 left JYP, they acquired the trademark rights to everything, including the rights to the name, album production, light sticks, live performances, unit names and more. The previous company officially has nothing to do with them anymore :)

My ahgase (fandom name) heart is crying of happiness rn!!! And NOPE they are definitely not disbanded. They just ended their contracts with the company they were under.
The leader, Jay B ('94 liner; lead vocalist, lead dancer) - at 2:50, 9:37 + 12:38, 15:52, 21:12, 27:30 + 30:24. He is one of the members you kept pointing out (I get you, he's my bias lol). Also, to give you some insight, he pretty much learned the basics of law so that he could figure out a way for them to keep their name and brand "GOT7", and keep all the rights to their songs. He's truly such an amazing leader and person overall. He has also composed and written a bunch of songs for GOT7 and for his own solo carrer + his vocals are out of this world + as you've probably noticed already, this man is beautiful 🫠🤌🏻 *(in love)*
Guess what, tho? Jay B is not the only one to catch your attention, lmaoo. The other member being, in fact, the maknae, Yugyeom ('97 liner; main dancer, lead vocalist) - at 3:26 & 4:37, 9:44 & 11:13, 16:05, 20:14 & 21:44 & 24:38 (yup), 26:18 & 28:12.
(Fyi, btw, he's a part of the 97 liners besties, along with his fellow member BamBam, JK (from BTS), The8, Mingyu, DK (from SEVENTEEN), Jaehyun (from NCT), Cha Eunwoo (ASTRO). They even have a whole groupchat and all that jazz.)
Another member that caught your atention as well is Jinyoung ('94 liner) - at 3:34 & 4:30 & 7:42 (yup, his voice is really nice), 9:00 & 10:50, 15:58 & 16:58, 20:24 & 20:53, 26:25 & 27:11 & 28:19. I also have to mention that he's an amazing actor. Like his dramas "He is Psychometric" or "Devil Judge" are absolute masterpieces.
The other members, in order of age, are:
- Mark ('93 liner; lead rapper) - at 4:20, 10:06, 16:50 & 17:49, 20:43, 27:14. Back in their rookie days, him and Jackson used to do a lot of the martial arts moves incorporated in their choreo. He's from LA and he's of taiwanese descent (if I'm not mistaken).
- Jackson ('94 liner; main rapper, lead dancer) - at 4:03, 9:25, 17:42, 21:38 & 22:45, 26:47. Tbh, he and Yugyeom might have my favorite solo works. Like his song LMLY is trully a masterpiece ✨️ He's chinese, from Hong Kong, and he's really really popular in China.
- Youngjae ('96 liner; main vocalist) - at 3:54, 10:44, 16:14, 22:58, 26:54. His vocals are off the charts. Like frfr
- BamBam ('97 liner; lead rapper) - at 3:07, 9:12, 16:43, 20:34, 26:32. Bam is thai. Little fun fact: he's childhood friends with Lisa of BLACKPINK and they both got to debut in kpop groups which is amazing + he's also very good friends with Bang Chan since they used to train together at JYP
Phew, I'll try to do this as often as I can (for the groups i know) if you feel like it's actually helpful. I really hope it is 😅

Thank you so much!! Learning that about Jay B just makes me respect him and like him even more! That's really amazing. Can I ask, when they left JYP, why did they all join different companies/managing themselves rather than all deciding on one singular company to join at? I'm guessing those companies have no say over GOT7 and only get involved with solo music?
@@EmberWishes Yup, indeed. They each joined different companies that manage them individually, as soloists (Jackson has his own company, Team Wang, Yugyeomis under AOMG and I don't really remember the others lol). From what I've read, GOT7 as a whole is now under Warner Music Korea (?).
As for the reason of their departure from JYP, there's a lot of mixed opinions so I really don't know what to believe anymore 🤷🏻♀️ + I don't really know why they chose different companies. Maybe they chose ones that fit more to the artist image they have/want to have. I really don't know lol
Anyways, what's good is that they're still together as a group making amazing songs and interacting with their fans, while still having the freedom to grow and evolve into their own individual artistic selves and working on more bangers as we speak.
@@EmberWishes I think they choose to signed to different company because they want too establish/grow their image as a solo artist/actor and choose company that suit their style and talent, like Jinyoung signed to BH entertainment one of the biggest actor company but they also agreed to support his singing talent and drop his first debut album few months ago (it's the company first time managing an idol and releasing songs lol) , Yugyeom signed to AOMG because it suit his style, hiphop RnB, etc
They really has strong preference for their solo career that maybe we can't never see it if they still under jyp lol
For the reason them leaving jyp, Jay B said something like they have different vision/plan about the future of the group and each member, it's like a little point but we will never knew what happen behind the curtain lol
But I think it's a great decision to leave jype bcs the company didn't treat them well enough hehe

They are all song writers and composers. Jay B wrote Last Piece and NANANA. He has written many others too. Youngjae wrote Breath and many others too. The last album that has NANANA has amazing beautiful music and songs. I am still amazed that they had the comeback so soon. Jackson had 3 months to be with them to work on the comeback and he set aside just for that. That is Jay B with the longer hair and you are right. He is stunning. He is their leader.
the boys who catch your attention the most (JayB & Yugyeom )have subunit Jus2 and the other is Jinyoung(with the glasses and the voice you like ) . Jinyoung with JayB have other subunit JJ Project .
JAY B wanted NANANA to be positive and fun. They are so happy! We love seeing them just like this.

@@EmberWishes I'm actually curious if you'd like Jus2. Because on the one hand, they have always caught your attention, but on the other hand, their songs are more like slow/sensual R&B - I'm not sure if their visuals and voices (personally, my favourite voices in GOT7) would be enough, but I hope you give it a try - for science haha
"Focus On Me" is their only music video, which is why I recommended it, but one of my favourite non-R&B songs by them is "Take". They sang it for the Korean drama "He is Psychometric", in which Jinyoung (another member, probably your favourite voice?) had a leading role. "Take" has slightly retro vibes and it kinda sounds like it could be in the GMMTV series, in my opinion ;)

They are closer than ever. They have their group chat. They love and support each other. They have been through so much together. Friends/brothers/family forever! Just recently Yugyeom and Jay B went to watch Youngjae in his musical. We love seeing them together even if it's just 2 of them. Bambam and Jackson saw each other in Europe when they both did fashion shows. The biggest smiles they always have is when they are together!
Thank you for watching Got7, you should listen to all of Got7's albums, they are all quality music. GOT7 has not disbanded, we are still united, 2 of our members are currently in the military, but our leader said he will come back after the military. So we wait patiently. #GOT7FOREVER. 💚💚💚💚♾️♾️

Its a really great guide, but keep in mind is up to 2021, before the departure from JYP... so there is a lot that happened after that, still in my opinion is the best guide available ☺

Nanana was recorded in 2022, that article you read said they disbanded 2021. That article is full of miss-information- to put it nicely. They had a fan meeting in 2022. Sadly, 2 of my boys are in military duty currently.
Funny thing is 2 members (bam bam and Youngjae)of GOT7 guest appeared on the show seven stars that formed the group The7
Jackson wang (from got7) has some cool solo songs here are my recommendations:

I have so much to tell you but I don't want to do it here.. Do you maybe have another place where I can tell you EVERYTHING.. They're my Ult group so I would love to gush about them 🥰
I think their music will be hit or miss for you since they are very R&B inspired with their music.. They're very versatile though and you have to watch some live performances, kings of live vocals.. Their choreo is also always amazing 💚
If you might want to get more info about them I can recommend The Ultimate Guide to GOT7 by OT7AHGA.. It's a little old since it's from 2020 but it's the best one and you still get to learn the basis about them 💚
Ahhh my one and only babies. I'm glad you enjoyed watching them. I was too much of a wimp to fill anything in the google doc you put up for your b'day cos was like... what if she doesn't like them lol. I'm a Jinyoung bias as found him (and then GOT7) via his acting and got attached - he's the one usually doing the higher parts like you pointed out in You Calling My Name and then again in Last Piece.
In terms of your angel and demon, that would be maknae, Yugyeom (angel and the one in Last Piece) and leader, JayB (demon and long-haired one in Na Na Na). The vibe shift in Na Na Na, that was the first comeback since leaving their company and it was themed as building a new home and coming home to fans so it has a nice comfy feel to it - though they do have quite the variety of songs especially throwing all the album tracks in there too, and then all of their different solo styles as well.

Glad you like got7. They are very humble and their vocals are insane. The person you praised for vocal in last piece is Jinyoung, lead vocalist of group. He is falsetto king. Other lead vocal is one you call angel and the slightly long hair is Yugyeom. The one with mullet(long hair) is Jayb, Main vocalist of group and has insane vocal range. Other main vocalist in Youngjae he is one of the top vocalist. Since you are like JayB and Yugyeom a lot, I will suggest you to react on Jus2 Fouch album. Jus2 is their duo unit and have some insane bops.

Ahgase reporting to duty! -- Maybe I should explain; officially our fandom name is igot7 (as in we got their backs), but when you say this in Hangul/Korean it sound like the term "ahgase", which means "baby birds" - so unofficially we call ourselfs ahagases! This is also why birds are almost always represented in their mv's in some way... 🐥
Like in Nanana, where Jay B (the very very pretty one, LOL) holds the bird in his hands and it crawls to his back - that is a clear sign to the fans, that they will take care of us, like we protect them 💚 Oh yeah, and green is our fan color!
You've gotten a lot of great info about who's who, so I'll just say a few random things, that comes to mind. Seesing your set up with BounPrem posters and the Cutie Pie dolls, I can tell you that a lot of our beloved BL actors are huge fans of Jackson Wang (the guy sitting on the bench in the green sweather in Breath), Boun is an example, PPKrit too, Apo from KinnPorche and also James of NetJames. All of them attented Jacksons solo concert in Bangkok ealier this year. Also, BamBam (the guy with the red hair in Last Piece) is Thai, and he is very good friends with Gun from Not me and he actually did a AIS commercial with Billkin and PPKrit.
Since you seem to really be excited about the choreo, I think it would be fun if next you watch the dance practices or performance videos for these exact songs instead of just jumping on to new songs. Just an idea!

I remember seeing an official Domundi video at one point, where some of the actors (Net, Jamens, Nunew and some others I don't remember right now) watched a comeback mv of their (Last Piece perhaps?) and they talked about their bias in the group and stuff.

What happened in NANANA: It's called freedom ahahah that was after JYPE and they were so happy. The album is so so good! And all the songs have the members involved. I think that it was more like a gift, they really didn't lie to us and comeback ; i just love the different types of birds too. I am so touched that you felt happy with NANANA; that songs means a lot to us. Again, thank you so so much
Our Color is green; the Fandom Name is IGOT7 BUT sounds like 아가새 (Ahgase) in Korean, which means baby bird. That's why the GOT7's official light stick is a bird, and they always have birds or green or both on their MVs.

I'm laughing at Jay B and Yugyeom attacking you the whole time. Those two are dangerous. Jay B comes for everyone eventually. There's a saying in the Ahgase community. Even if Jay B isn't your bias, he is still your bias. Jay B is my bias and Yugyeom has been trying to steal wrecker status from Jackson for the last couple years.

I hope you become a fan, they're extremely easy to love and between their music as GOT7 and their solo/unit albums, there's something for every taste so please give them a try. Even though JJProject are in the military right now, we are getting new music/shows/tours from the members so being an Ahgase is never boring. When I say I hope you become a fan I mean it in a "there's a treasure I know about, I hope you get to find it too". I feel very lucky knowing about them so the more the merrier. Thank you ^^

I only react to what gets suggested to me, all these songs were what was recommended! I don't think I've heard of Nct127, only Nct Dream. Looking at the reaction requests form I only have songs for the Dream subunit! Please do submit any songs you want me to react to on the form - once I have 4-5 songs for a group I can do a video for them! ❤
@@EmberWishes well nct127 is one of the units of nct and they've debuted before dream. Dream was targeted for the younger masses while nct127 the general masses. Nct127 songs I would like to recommend- Kick it, Favorite (vampire), Superhuman, Simon Says, sticker and 2baddies, Highway to Heaven and Touch.
They're an amazing group and I think one of the most vocally gifted group after exo. Their musicis very experimental ( some might shock you 🤣), their songs very unique and original.
LAST PIECE is one of the most wronged works of Kpop
