Glad you enjoyed this one! I did make a video about 11 Hogwarts Legacy NPCs who died of mysterious causes. Here's that one if you haven't seen it: th-cam.com/video/95mq6QmzvH8/w-d-xo.html
I would love to see this dark wizard of Hufflepuff in the next Hogwarts Legacy game as the main antagonist. The story could go like: having somehow re-emerged out of nowhere and creates five mazes appearing near Hogwarts where the student (now as a sixth year) has to rescue their friends: Poppy Sweeting, Natty Onai, Amit Thakkar and Ominis Gaunt. At the same time, the student is being hunted by Bounty Hunters wanting revenge for the death of Victor Rookwood and Theophilus Harlow from last year
GREAT VIDEO! So well done. Last night during my second Legacy playthrough, I stumbled upon a curious ashwinder/poacher camp that contained several things that peaked my interest. Next to the tent, I saw the same cabinet that the Boggart was kept in during the PoA movie. I saw that and went "hah, I've seen that before". But then I went into the tent. And the first thing I noticed was a Slytherin dormitory bed, with the same green curtains you see in the dorm and even a snake emblem on the top. Next to the bed is a portrait leaned up against the wall that looks like it was stolen directly out of Hogwarts. Some other items I found in the tent were a telescope, an un-openable chest, and a tapestry, which also looks like it was stolen from Hogwarts. This could be a mere coincidence, but it seemed like everything in this small tent was taken directly from Hogwarts.
An intriguing story and a sobering one. Even ones from the House known for kindness and acceptance can experience a fall from grace, for lack of better phrasing.
It would be cool if poppy becomes more vicious in the sequel. Perhaps the poachers attack her gran as vengeance for horntail horn or for just being a massive pain the ass in to their plans. * I thought this would have happened in HL, I was expecting it...but it never came to pass* In turn Poppy takes a much more aggressive approach towards the poachers, hunt them down & perhaps either us or Sebastian steps in before she goes to far or gets carried away..even the most patient & loving person can turn in to a devil when provoked.
Honestly in the books there were plenty of hufflepuffs who were judgemental and nasty. Ernest Macmillan talking shiz about Harry, all the hufflepuffs accepting potter stinks badges from the Draco and wearing them proudly. No doubt they are no saints.
Also not all hufflepuffs got into hufflepuff because they were kind, many got in because they where average and had no distinguishing talents as the sorting hat sung in one of its songs.
I would have thought most was killed by their own greed. It good that huffpuff had a wizard that could make something so amazing. Good for him to be a dark wizard. It would be interesting to know which types of plants/trees he could summon.

To be fair I think many groups that people conider evil today would be sorted into Hufflepuff rather than Slytherin simply because they priotorized the idea of family and hardwork over ambition and fraternity yet that is exactily what led them to be evil . In fact I might even question if the worst incarnations of dursley like people for example would be hufflepuff rather than slytherins because what they might value is the idea of hard work over actual ambition itself.
I wonder what were other rare magical abilities wizards and witches could have. Eunon wood could control the plants and bushes and people like Voldemort could speak to snakes. I wonder if there’s anymore
I love that there is this lore in the Game but I was disappointed that they didn't run with something similar in the main quests. Why have Sebastian and Ominis be in Slytherin and have the "dark" story line there? Why not show a Gryffindor so reckless and wanting glory that he goes to far. Or a Ravenclaw who wants to expand their knowledge and find some lost forbidden knowledge (Again, goes too far). Or a Hufflepuff, so desperately wanting to help their friends or family (Like Sebastian actually is) and once again, go to far. At this point in the Harry Potter Universe the Slytherin House is almost a story problem - if the house is notorious for turning out dark wizards, why have no one done anything about it? Also, story wise - I just find it boring that the bullies and villain's are almost always from Slytherin - Feels a bit lazy at this point. But that's just my two cents
I only just discovered one of the mazes and I thought it was funny that my characters last name is Blackwood it was almost like discovering a family secret 😂
being charitable to them, the ones who were douchey had reasonable motivations, and likely saw themselves as being rightfully indignant. Harry in goblet of fire was presumed to have tampered to get his name in the triwizard tournament, and a hufflepuff's affinity to justice would incline them to see the presumed act of cheating as deserving of blame. hence, their loyalty to the person who actually met the requirements to participate in the tournament (Cedric), and the communicative blame to the one who in current light can only be seen as a tamperer. the button pins were a bit too tacky though.
Hufflepuff is my House and I was surprised at the mazes' backstory. Just goes to show that a Sorting doesn't make a person, their history and choices do.
Damn. I ran into the maze once but I had no idea what it was for, was in a hurry to do something else, and so I noped right out. Seems I dodged a bullet there. I had no clue of this lore.
@@RetroRaconteur there's a note in Feldcroft of a eulogy to a dead house elf. "The goodliest house elf ever." See if you can decipher anything from that. Must've been written by a child.
@@RetroRaconteur It's like the character creators for Hogwarts Legacy we're all in a meeting and they asked: "What's the most unlikely thing you guys can think of?" "I got something.... Comment 1) Could a variant of Sherlock Holmes easily fit into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? I mean, Lord Blackwood in RDJ's 1st Sherlock Holmes film claimed to be a mystical expert and was of an order of mystics. If so, then it definately gives me an idea for a fanfic I'm trying to work on. Comment 2) I feel bad for Anestasia. Hated by her mother, who birthed her, and betrayed by her soul mate. I can understand her daughter betraying her since she felt betrayed herself, but that doesn't excuse what she did. I may not care much for people and I have no issue with the grey area. However, the one thing that matters to me as much as honor... is loyalty. It is evident that Lissandra was only loyal to herself since her parents looked down on her for being a Squib. I suspect that she killed her father, considering men weren't ever outed for being magical, and headed somewhere she would never have to deal with magik ever again. Probably even... son of a bitch. I think she may be Dudley and Vernon's ancestor. I mean, the entire Dursley bloodline despises magik and those who practice it. So much so they persistently deny its existence and feel offended whenever they witness it before denying it ever happened in the first place.
I always knew each house has it's fair share of dark wizards. But of course when it comes to humans it's much easier to blame only one house (My 🐍💚 house) instead of all right?! 😒🙄
Not played the game, but theory.... There is only one maze. Eunon cursed it to disappear and reappear randomly. He also made it into a horcrux. Because of this, his vengeful hateful spirit is tied to it, constantly taking the lives of those he hates even to this day.
I'm trying to find them but I am playing higwarts legacy for ps4 and I do not see them.on the map. Do they show up after you beat the game? The reason I am asking is because I found your video but also my character is a hufflepuff
So they actually won’t show up on the map until you’ve discovered them first. If you go to the general areas I have marked, you’ll eventually get them to spawn. They aren’t guaranteed to spawn every time though so it may take a few tries. Also can be done on any house.
I really thought this was going to be about our character. I am pretty sure I gave this guy a run for his money in body count. As Ahnold would say, "They were all bad."

Spoiled?
My player character in Hogwarts Legacy was also a Hufflepuff who slaughtered thousands funnily enough
Is this the story from the mazes ? I skimmed them but didn’t pay attention enough . I’m gonna go back and read them now . Thankyou
Yep, it’s from the hedge mazes.
I really like this guy simply because he's so out of left field! He's a Muggle-born.... Hufflepuff... Dark wizard.... 😂
Right?! 😅
@@RetroRaconteur It's like the character creators for Hogwarts Legacy we're all in a meeting and they asked: "What's the most unlikely thing you guys can think of?" "I got something.... Ok, bear with me, here! Muggle-born! Huh huh! Hufflepuff! Yeah, yeah, obviously... Ok, now, don't leave... Dark Wizard! Whhhhaaaaa---???" 😂🤣
We Hufflepuffs tend to get a bit quirky at night. Or anytime really.
Ironically I named my character Lorcan Blackwood when Hogwarts came out
oliver woods ancestor.
It's possible 😬
Canonical the witch burnings were never effective because the witches and wizards could counter the heat.
Would Eunon Wood be the ancestor of Oliver Wood.
I do hope if there is an Another game if this one U can play a dark wizard or have a choice too.
I always knew Hufflepuffs had some Dark Wizard.
Dammit they had my idea for hogwarts legacy evil hufflepuff doing the killing curse on everyone
WOOD!! i wonder if the old griffindor quidditch keeper is a descendant as he was also Scottish (like myself 😂 )
Huffelpuff who snapped 😂
Anyone of the 4 houses can be evil. We learned that from the raven claw house founder, her own daughter was jealous of her.
Was he evil, or was it bringing out the evil in people due to their greed for money and wealth? Or maybe a bit of both
Greed or not, taking out your own family like that is pretty diabolical, imo 😅
This would be a great movie😅
Right?! Hogwarts Legacy 2 should go back in time and tell us what happened to old Eunon, haha.
I literally never ran into these >_<
Thats wild lol
No way?!
Sees video title
Me:shit they found my character
😂😂😂
More out of WEdlock births that is odd for Harry Potter .
If she ever married or had kids her kids could have powers .
“Oh but only slytherin makes evil wizards and only gryffindor produces heroes” most potter fans probably
Is there a dark witch or wizard in Ravenclaw?
Totally didn't know that there was a Hufflepuff that was evil well guess Hufflepuff isn't as innocent and pure of evil members that people were told
Yeah according to a Wizarding World post on the 4 houses, they produced the fewest number of dark wizards. But this means there were at least a few!
What Hufflepuff what the fu- AVADA KADAVRA
I always knew each house has it's fair share of dark wizards.
But of course when it comes to humans it's much easier to blame only one house (My 🐍💚 house) instead of all right?!
😒🙄
Wait did we destroy a Eunon Wood inferi? That house did have a boss and mini boss with a "Lord of the House" underneath
Was the maze that was used in goblet of fire a blackwood maze?
Probably just a fun coincidence. This Eunon guy was created by the Hogwarts Legacy team.
From in game of Hogwarts Legacy , I’m a lot more as a Hufflepuff but more as a dark witch.
But here in real life I’m actually a Gryffindor.
Not played the game, but theory....
There is only one maze. Eunon cursed it to disappear and reappear randomly. He also made it into a horcrux. Because of this, his vengeful hateful spirit is tied to it, constantly taking the lives of those he hates even to this day.
Hmmm. Interesting theory! If it was a horcrux, then he could still be out there somewhere 🤔
eunon should be the antagonist for hogwarts legacy 2
I'm trying to find them but I am playing higwarts legacy for ps4 and I do not see them.on the map. Do they show up after you beat the game? The reason I am asking is because I found your video but also my character is a hufflepuff
So they actually won’t show up on the map until you’ve discovered them first. If you go to the general areas I have marked, you’ll eventually get them to spawn. They aren’t guaranteed to spawn every time though so it may take a few tries.
Also can be done on any house.
@@RetroRaconteur can you give me some areas name I looked at the pounder coast but can't locate the exact spot
imagine hes related to oliver wood
This story doesn't make sense. How could Eunon disappear just like that? Where was he when Artemisia was being attacked?
I'm a quarter Blackwood.
hes not even that evil though. at least to wizard standards
Evil is evil. No matter to Jesus Christ!
struggled to take this information in cos of moonlight sonata, distracted x
OLIVER WOOD NOOOOOO😢😮
Yesss I love this hell fucking yeah gimmie a in to be an evil hufflepuff
Do not mess with Hufflepuffs
I really thought this was going to be about our character. I am pretty sure I gave this guy a run for his money in body count.
As Ahnold would say,
"They were all bad."
Hah! I thought some people might think it was about a player character 😅
