Wish Cummins would put this engine in a Dodge. I love the v8 sound plus the reliability of a Cummins you can’t beat it. Guess I’ll stick to my power strokes though

blackstorm86 It doesn't smoke in casual day to day driving. If I push it near redline, it'll blow a small amount. The increase in mpg is slight trip for trip. But the overall average is increased by at least 2 mpg. I credit that to no longer having to go through the fuel sucking DPF regeneration process. There's no drone at all. With the windows up, it sounds stock.
Are parts for this really impossible to find? I see a few selling now online and I feel like they are some sort of scam.. I do need a set-up like this or spend $4K on a premature failed SCR..at 23000 miles. Nissan screwed the owners of the Diesels.. and covered their own. Do not warranty their cheap parts installed, after 3 years basic warranty.. I am taking it to a shop that can tell me if I really need a new SCR for another $150 diagnostics test. Nissan just told me they read it online that a new SCR will fix my CEL P1C54

Hello there. I have a 2017 Pro 4X and I was going to go with a Bully Dog Exhaust until I heard your truck. That sound is what I am looking for. Did you go with a 4" or 5" catback exhaust?
Nick Rouse Thanks, Nick. Flo Pro has a few exhaust options. I went with the race pipe which is equivalent to the 4”, but only replaces from the down pipe to the front of the tail pipe. Essentially all the “guts” of the stock exhaust are gone. I went this route because I like the looks of the polished tail pipe on the Plat.Reserve. My only regret is that I didn’t have a bung welded on for the exhaust temp prior to install.
What MPG are you getting? I have a 2017 Pro4x with a 6” RC lift, KMC 20x10 with 35x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers, All Deleted, EZ Lynk with on the fly tuning, 5” Flow Pro and I get about 16 at 60mph
MilSpec308 Depends on the temperature. Right now, below 50 degrees F, I average 15-16 mpg on my daily commute. During the warmer months, I'm around 18-19 for the same 12 Mile drive. I'll hit low 20s when driving highway speeds of 50-60 mph with no traffic lights.
Junngo Jangles My overall mpg average is higher, especially during the warm weather months. I'm sure some of that is because I no longer go through the fuel sucking DPF regeneration. When the truck isn't regenerating vs tuned, the mpg difference is very slight improvement.

I've heard so many bad reviews on them I'm leery but I've also heard a lot of good things. If the purchase goes through, I'll be deleting it pretty much right away.
Zaidan Quintero You can try, but I don't think anything good will come of it. Most likely you'll get a check engine light and go into limp mode. The tune does more than hp gains. It also disables the def system and egr.
Yes, any part not authorized and installed by Nissan voids the warranty. I’ve had a turbo replaced and I just put all the stock parts back on it before taking it to Nissan. If they data log the computer you are fucked.

Darryl Hudson I purchased just a ProFlo race pipe from Diesel Power Products. The tailpipe is stock Platinum Reserve. I'm quite pleased with the purchase. Just wish they would include a bung for the exhaust temp sensor.
Darryl Hudson I didn't have any options with the race pipe variant, but I'm quite pleased. All the hangers and bolt holes lined up perfectly. The tailpipe was tricky to reinstall by myself, but I managed. I haven't read any negative reviews, then again I wasn't in the market for a full exhaust.

Darryl Hudson I love this truck. Seriously, it has the amenities I liked about the QX80 (minus sunroof), packed into a truck. I wanted push button start, keyless entry, steering wheel heater, cooled seats, front and rear cameras, power sliding rear window, led headlights, 4 wheel drive, long bed and a diesel engine. The XD platform delivered. The only thing I wish it had, which I believe the aftermarket will eventually bring, is power folding mirrors. It's a very solid truck. With the current markdowns and rebates it puts the XD in good position in the competitive truck market.

Henry Heng No. None at all. Only noticeable difference between the 2 programs is the DEF meter is gone. By removing the factory exhaust parts, I lost the exhaust temp meter as well. No big deal to me.
You did everything right to that Titan, it looks good, it blows away the Tundra in all aspects

The Titan blows the tundra away from the factory, not even in the same class for towing.

Probably be hard pressed to find parts since the EPA squeeze. Essentially a race pipe to replace the exhaust filter, an ezlynk and a tune.

Voids it. But it will make the engine last longer

I did not have a problem with the Tpms. I was running the ridge grapplers.

Why doesn’t Cummins use a v8 in all of their engines. The inline 6 sounds horrible but this sounds amazing
what the I think the I6 sounds amazing, personally. Nothing growls like a straight 6 Cummins.

I don't recall. What ever the cost of the exhaust pipe, ezlink and the tunes were. Seems like the tunes alone were $800 or $850.

Joe Flores I wouldn't say it's underpowered. But sluggish is something I can agree on. Especially during cold weather.
