Really good videos, very helpful. I just picked up a small boat and an planing on a full strip down and repaint. Your videos helped a ton though I’m still trying to figure out the products
I’ve done aluminum boats as well as quite a few planes. Unfortunately no videos on those. Not yet anyhow. Just be sure to etch prime the bare aluminum before proceeding with the paint process. 👌
Thx David. And I’ve done my fair share of blasting. Sometimes it’s the only route to go. I almost pulled out the little blaster to remove the bottom paint. It would have went a lot quicker but I didn’t. Blasting has its ups and downs.
As someone who is new to boating and admired good worksmanship this information you are providing is priceless. Thank you and God bless!
Frankie any chance I can send you an email with a question I have on how to fix this one small piece on a sailboat I recently bought?
INCREDIBLE SKILL SIR"

good video well done , look forward to seeing the progress , thanks for sharing .
I like to use the edge of the paper on the orbital to cut down initially and then move to the flat part to smooth.
Very good job man
I wish you had a video doing an aluminum boat. I'm planing on using awlgrip products for my aluminum airplane

@@boatpaintingrestorationwit3029 you in the Houston area by chance? Would love to pick your brain.
Looking forward to watching this series. What's with the blue under the bottom paint? Did they change the waterline or something?
Apparently. Wish they didn’t. Lol
Good stuff Frankie, thank you for sharing! Do you have any experience wet sandblasting hulls or any opinion?
