Short darts have dominated as the hobby standard, with Talons coming out on top as the community's favorite half-length magazine. What do you think we should compare next? Or do you see another ammo type coming out on top in the future?
Neither do we. Like Luke said on the stream, we're hoping for smaller Rival-esque ammo. But we've also heard rumors about gel? The repeated launch delays are kinda irritating though. - Perry
You kind of touched on it, but a short dart comparison and compatibility run through might be nice for us newbies to short darts. I thought about buying the Worker cutter device for cutting down full length darts, but I heard the dimensions are slightly off. I also heard that waffle tips don’t feed as well in some of the higher powered blasters.
I wish dart zone actually sold their products internationally so that I can get myself some good blasters, we can barely find any rival blasters in England!
Going back way back, "stefan darts" referred specifically to homemade darts made out of foam backer rod with a hot glue tip and not even the length aspect. I remember lots of stefans back in the day being pretty much full length, but people found that they flew better when made shorter and eventually the definition kind of evolved to describe short darts in general.

Yes when my son and I bought our FDL3’s from Jesse and Jackie for ADL a couple years ago, I went with a short dart nose and he still wanted the full nose. I think we will be building a short nose for him once we’re able to resume playing again. We will see. We love the shop Luke!

Do you know if the 10 round Angled Talon that comes with the Phoenix will be available separately? I’d like to be able to make a semi auto solenoid powered version of the Phoenix as a sidearm for HvZ and I’d prefer to run 10 round mags in a sidearm rather than 18s as that’ll make it awkward to holster.
