@@WalcomS7 There's one on offer up but vie sent the offer early this morning and still nothing hopefully they will see it tomorrow or vie just ordered a 4 pack of demo rockets for nothing
great vid! i actually modified my conquest pro to take tachi mags and curved talons. you just cut a little bit of the shell thats above the magwell but below the sling point, as well as a little bit of the inner frame. i also replaced the catch spring that slots into the talons with one from OMW. so it'll take those mags but will stop working after 3-5 slamfire shots unless i reposition everything because it's not a perfect fit. slow timed shots are fine, but that kinda defeats the purpose haha. also, @spartan 412 discovered this can take a k25
It definitely has sealed breech potential, just like the nexus. And drac has already made a mag release extension so you can reach the release without shifting your firing grip.
@@danjudex2475 "well yes but actually no." Yes you insert the magazine from the rear of the Blaster like a P90, but there's nothing really unique or interesting about the magazines themselves. The P90 is essentially a basic open bolt machine gun like a Thompson, the complex part of the P90 is the magazines that rotate the rounds 180 degrees and feeds them down. Due to this having a rotating chambering mechanism this is much more like the G11. Sorry for the mini rant, I watch a lot of Forgotten weapons.
One thing I learned from using it is lets you remove the mag at your choosing primed or not. This allows you to do a mag swap with a Sealed breach and ready to fire.
Ordered this glorious thing off of Walmart, finally back in stock for me, been checking daily, can’t wait to at minimum paint it up, hopefully mod it, as always, great video, I’m really enjoying the different format and scenery
the chambering system reminds me a lot of the German G11 prototype rifle, the germans didn't use it because it was too complicated. A toy company made a better chambering system than the entire german military!
That's what I thought too! That thing is insanely complex and complicated! So much interesting engineering. The G11 is so cool! Kraut space magic! Yeah, these designs for dart zone are getting quite incredible!
I probably won't. I don't even live in the same place anymore. If anything it will take several videos for me to get the ranges down. It's also harder for me to put the camera in the same spot in the driveway.
I love the nexus pro, but I love this thing just a little bit more. I absolutely love everything about this blaster, any complaint I have is relegated to nit picking. I honestly don't understand how Dart Zone can keep dropping hammer after hammer with not a single dud in sight. LIKE DART ZONE WE GET IT YOU WIN!
I fixed my only complaint, I built a skeletonized aluminum stock for it, I also repurposed the mag adaptor from my aeon pro into a mag holder attached to the stock. Currently doing a few extra improvements and wait excitedly for metal internals, also pretty sure one of these could be made into a pp19-bizon if someone was so inclined.
I was cutting some elite darts and goofed the length of the blade and didn't clamp it tight enough so I cut the darts kinda D-grade. Threw them in a Worker Mod 18 round mag and flung em. Then was like, I wonder what would happen if... I reloaded the magazine, but alternated between the dart halves. So, dart, dart end, dart, dart end. Priming would push the dart end up first. If that didn't make it out the barrel (essentially trying to shoot the back end of the dart) the dart with a tip primed behind that so it would shotgun them. Surprisingly there was enough force that most of the dart ends fired without needing a capped one for assistance. Fun for plinking indoors, just be aware those darts are laser beams. So it can be easy to lose track of them. Idk if it's just my imagination, but it's also an easier prime than a stock Nexus Pro. Was considering grabbing a tachi mag to see if that would be long enough to work lol. I know you tried it, but I thought of holding it in place and seeing if it would chamber darts. Like how the Lepus won't accept it, but it's technically usable.
@@dragonblaster-vu8wz I would have thought the MK3. The Conquest would be integrated like a rough cut on a stryfle with the knockout as a pump grip. And maybe the Recon as the main part of the stock so it could double as a cheek rest? Idk?
This thing begs to have either a retractable or underfolding U stock. Something that can be compacted but still allows access to the rear mag. Hope the mod community picks up on this.
Folding is a pain however if you're so inclined the furthest back screw hole is clear from any internals so drill away, I made mine into a full length rifle by attaching a fixed stock but folding isn't out of tue realm of possibility. Heck a standard modulus attachment point could be cut to allow the mag to drop.
Something I think should be noted is that IIRC, all the Dart Zone Pro blasters have padded plungers, which makes them safe to dry fire. That's especially important for this blaster according to Drac because since it has slam fire, there's no way to really deprime it without dry firing.
That's good to know, because I accidentally dry fired my conquest pro and DZ max dictator about half a dozen times each in the last few months but still work fine.
Continues to be one of my favorite backup blasters. Reliable, consistent, quick, small. I have big hands, enjoy the mag change mech mostly because it feels extra tactical and takes longer to reload and aim, which gives me a disadvantage which I like, because I am an adult playing with kids.
I was surprised when I put mine over the chronograph also, even with a scar attached! This blaster has great value for how easily it delivers the hits. I enjoyed watching your enthusiasm throughout this review!
Hmm, with a horizontal priming grip this thing can be holstered in one of those shotgun scabbard things without having a mag sticking out awkwardly...and you can swap the mag while it's holstered. I only wish the shape was a bit more like the saturn
Walcom, Will you bolt two of these together to make a shotgun version of the Conquest? You did it for the Slingfire and the Alphatrooper; this one would be awesome as a shotgun!
I made a folding stock for my aeon pro it would probably fit on this rather nicely, just have to drill a bolt hole somewhere it won't hurt the internals. Edit-5 months later and I can confirm the stock not only fit it allowed for the mag to drop even unfolded. Granted I've since fixed the stock in place with an aluminum bar going from the grip and bending at 90° to reinforce the shoulder part. Someone smarter than I can surely make something better and likely more appealing to look at. I'm intending to do some strenuous range tests as soon as I get my sight for it. Gotta find out how precise this thing is.
