Peoples!! Thank you all so very much for all your support.. We really appreciate it so we hope you enjoy this weeks special episode! We really gave it our all. We have big news aswell because for the first time we have our own MERCH! Very proud to announce our first limited edition tshirts. Link in de description. Thanks alot people, Your all part of Team DBK. Yess Bless!
Dutch Bushcraft Knives I wish it didn't cost forty two dollars to get one in California :( Love it and you though! Look forward to your videos every week.
If you could buy a flintlock pistol, you had a flint lock pistol. Doesn’t matter what era your in. The revolver was pretty new in the 1800’s so if you didn’t have a lot of money a flintlock was still a gun.
My grandpa died 2 days ago.... incidentaly he fall of a lethers and break neck... he was just like me... adventurist... dreamer etc... his last wish was that he wanted to teach how to play harmonika.... tipe this word "harmonika" in google translate from Croatian. And I will teach myself how to play for my grandpa. Rest In Peace my hero! :(
OMG guys I just need to take a minute to tell you how much i appreciate the hard work that goes into your videos. The editing is amazing, and so is the filming and the music and just EVERYTHING! You guys are the best
Literally only there to make the trolls feel better, gives them a way to hate without actually doing any damage. Disliking the video does absolutely nothing.
These guys are great. The entertainment is wonderful, keeps you watching, I would only ask more demos, perhaps a project involving the knife from start to finish
Lost of us in the states use those steels. I produced a cpm 10v bushcrafter 3 years ago. It still going. Finally received some Vanadis 4 extra but cpm 4v and m4 are used regularly. Love the channel and keep it going.
So I just got a spyderco stretch in hap40 and this particular one has so hard a steel that I could not even strop away a micro burr with black or green compound lol but I was able to very lightly draw it out over ceramic rods and then stropped for like a good 45mins and it is ridiculously sharp and very tough! It has that sticky hair whittling edge that bites into flesh just touching it I live this thing!
Not only do you guys both have incredible bushcraft, video creation, editing skills, but are also in incredible shape to boot. Great break dancing by the way...
Those Malanika knives are very traditional finnish style looking knives. Im from Finland and a small town where i live (Hyrynsalmi) we make a Tommi puukko knives which looks very similar to malanika knive. It's like a tradition here to make a first Tommi puukko in junior high school. fi.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommi-puukko
It was the best one on the whole youtube! Even now I am smiling! It may sound strange but you made my live so much better. I got one question : Will you make a video about neck knives? Keep doing what you are doing !
Just to let you guys know there are other custom knife makers using CPM 10V and CPM 4V. Christopher Berry of Big Chris Custom knives has used both of these steels in some of his knives. By the way another great video and I have a couple of Malanika Puukko's in 52100.
Are these knives hard to grip when wet? I cant decide whether the Karesuando Skarpsint Knife in RWL 34 or the Risto Mikkonen Puukko in RWL 34, merely because of the grind height and the handle shape (e.g. the Karesuando can secure your hand when holding it because of the handle contours and guard, but when when the puukko might by slippery.) The use of these knives will be general bushcraft/ carving, and also fishing and hunting.
How good is the edge retention of the enzo trapper in elmax in terms of how many pieces of rope it can cut before dulling to the point where it cannot cut paper well anymore?
+Frederik Kjaer hey I don't know the exact answer. It depends on the the surface on which you cut and how thick the rope is. It's quite a lot better than all other steels from enzo though
Your channel has taken recent abrupt upsweep in cinematic greatness keeping me interested and highly entertained all the while focused on alot of knives I would have never heard of otherwise. Hope you can hear me clapping from New Jersey !!!! Keep up the good work!
I love dbk day, I was working hard as I usually am, saw the notification that the video had gone live, packed my stuff up and headed to the breakroom for some quality cinema
Why you don't use big knives? the biggest knife i see in your vids was the falkniven a1 pro with 16 cm of blade. Is for the weight? Sorry if my english is bad. I'm from Argentina.
Awesome video as always guys! You got my pre-order, you got my patreon support & probably I'll buy a Malanika Puukko soon to add to the rest of my knives ;) Awesome content. Keep going!
Please keep us posted if you do have a bushcraft knife in the works...I would be first in line to purchase a DBK limited edition/Mora with a Scandivex grind!!!!Thx
This is what TH-cam is made for ......outfuckingstanding.........thanks for being so entertaining and genuine and just droning on about how cool your knives are
Thanks for reviewing these two beautiful and awesome knives that are basically impossible to get. Yes I am envious (I am from the states and we have access to a lot of killer knives, just not these, easily anyway) It reminds me of the reviews of the Skookum Bush Too, awesome hand made knife but near impossible to obtain. More quality reviews of accessible knives, add in bonus "knife reviews" like this at the end. Or something like that...... Cheers
You guys are freaking awesome! You're great athletes, actors and film producers. Mickie you had me laughing like crazy when you were running down that road! You guys out did yourselves! Thank you so much for taking the time to make us laugh and teach us about quality knives. I live in Florida and have to haul ass tomorrow to get away of the Irma storm. Ciao.

Dutch Bushcraft Knives Amazing video as always lol. What is the song at the end?
You guys are so entertaining, can't afford the Pukko right nowbut saving my pennies
Christian! I believe we have fixed this! Thanks for letting us know!
The song at the end is from Di-Rect!
I believe this is the first time I've ever seen a breakdance battle in a knife review.
There's a reason you guys are my favorite channel lol.
DBK is one of the best channels on youtube.
That video title has got me curious about what knife you are talking about and also what sex is. Well played
Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors, Yes, I'd like the 2 of them to teach me about sex too!
Your videos are art. I love you.
Keep up the good stuff guys!
*plays western music* *wears cowboy hat* *talks like a cowboy* *USES A PIRATE GUN*
Pirate cowboys
And Finnish Knife.
Don't ya know, cowboys work with whatever they got. They are men of utility! Just like these blokes 😂
If you could buy a flintlock pistol, you had a flint lock pistol. Doesn’t matter what era your in. The revolver was pretty new in the 1800’s so if you didn’t have a lot of money a flintlock was still a gun.
Imagine him shooting it missing Missing him Then be like one sec got a reload

I love your skits. What's it like to live so close to a FOREST? Also, what is Mickeys DIET, JESUSS HE HAS A 24 PACK!
WoW! A Breakdance Battle. I'm very impressed. You Guys are sooo crazy. I like it!
These guys are great. The entertainment is wonderful, keeps you watching, I would only ask more demos, perhaps a project involving the knife from start to finish

Isnt that whistle from pippi longstocking
(I used to watch it in German)
YEA! I really wondered if someone would recognise the tune! haha cheers man, You and I are true warriors it seems
Dutch Bushcraft Knives The Takka Tukka Land episode was my all time favourite. Nice backing music btw
+Bilbo Baggy Balls yea same here! Gotta get rich so I can copy that house and let it be built for me! Cheers man!
True nostalgia there. The live action movies still hold up, might just take a stroll down memory lane.
Dutch Bushcraft Knives Never change the intro music. The fam and I love it. We hum it together laugh. 😂
You guys are the best
1.review the helle gt

KsCracovia Tarantino is great. But that was Sergio Leone all the way.
Great video! Mikkie B, your steely stare put Eastwood to shame.
you are the best dbk

don't know how you guys are so consistently creative and entertaining. might be your best video yet!
thank you so much Tim!
DBK will you test out the Terävä Jääkäripuukko 140? I was thinking of getting one but I won't touch a knife you guys don't recommend. Thanks!
It was the best one on the whole youtube! Even now I am smiling! It may sound strange but you made my live so much better. I got one question : Will you make a video about neck knives? Keep doing what you are doing !
You guys rock - epic derpiness and creativity!
This video hit perfectly. I literaly just bought my own Malanika Puukko today
+Frederik frank-jessen wow nice! Congratz my friend!
Frederik frank-jessen what’s the price for one of these? It looks like they are all custom order? What steel/wood you go with?
It's between 200 and 300 Euro, depending on the steel. The handle material doesn't change much about the price.
Just to let you guys know there are other custom knife makers using CPM 10V and CPM 4V. Christopher Berry of Big Chris Custom knives has used both of these steels in some of his knives. By the way another great video and I have a couple of Malanika Puukko's in 52100.

Dutch Bushcraft Knives By rope I mean the rope test that you do with the very thick rope. How is its performance on that test?
Mother of the knife angel this is the best knife review I have ever seen. Great work
Can the puukko still featherstick well on wet wood with it's very high grind?
Is it hidden tang?
full hidden tang
You deserve 5 million subs for your effort in videos. You are awesome!
+carp mad gav Cross you're a legend.
this yt channel really deserve more than 2 million sub. I can't understand why they only have a 100k sub only.
You guys are truly the best. Love dbk.
Frontiersman with a blunderbuss pistol, love it!
Awesome video and love my Malanika Puukko CPM 4V so much!
How much did it cost?
Your channel has taken recent abrupt upsweep in cinematic greatness keeping me interested and highly entertained all the while focused on alot of knives I would have never heard of otherwise. Hope you can hear me clapping from New Jersey !!!! Keep up the good work!
I love dbk day, I was working hard as I usually am, saw the notification that the video had gone live, packed my stuff up and headed to the breakroom for some quality cinema

EXCELLENT.... Great Video, M&M... and yes those knives are SICK! A++
What's the technical differences between the 3 steels?

Sorry if my english is bad. I'm from Argentina.

How the bloody hell do you buy one!?!?!?
With in the first 2 min you could tell you guys worked hard on this one. Loved it, thought I was watching a dbk movie.
+SC bushcraft backwoods yea it was hard work but everything for you people of course. If we don't deliver, our viewers will start beating us up!
Have you guys ever tried a bark river springbok??
Your videos make me laugh every Thursday. Keep up the great work guys!
Hahahaha you guys always cheer me up!! Never ever stop shooting!!🎥😃
What's the song playing around 07:50 called?
I think the reason the CPM-4V won the edge retention test is because you might have convexed it more than the newer puukko's. Good video regardless.
I want one 3 minute video of you guys actually break dancing. No joke this totally caught me off guard.
No question about it, good video as always. But this time an extra respect for athletic and dance skills! 😉 👍🏻
You guys should try out some Cold Steel fixed blades.
This is the best so far. ✅
Hey guys, you should test out the Habilis Bushtool and or the Habilis SRT.
Awesome video as always guys! You got my pre-order, you got my patreon support & probably I'll buy a Malanika Puukko soon to add to the rest of my knives ;) Awesome content. Keep going!
DBGdavid99, MAN! I wish I could do all that. That is great!
Please keep us posted if you do have a bushcraft knife in the works...I would be first in line to purchase a DBK limited edition/Mora with a Scandivex grind!!!!Thx
Do you tested Condor Bushlore and GANZO G8012 - BK knife?
If you don't mind me asking, how much would a Malanika Puukko cost (in 4v)?
This is what TH-cam is made for ......outfuckingstanding.........thanks for being so entertaining and genuine and just droning on about how cool your knives are
+Lance Christy hahaha! Thank you so much Lance!
Bark River have the drop-point hunter in 4V now - so is it the steel alone that is awesome, or the knife-maker / knife? Hmm.
Their English is equal only to their acting. Love the videos guys!
+Donald Slayton thanks a lot!
What is that song at the carving section omgah. That is the definition of eargasms
Why not try Karesuando Skarpsind RWL 34?? That is a good knife and give value for money.
Ciao.

What about the micro bevel? Did You kept it or grinded out?
+Marcel Majerčík we convexed it so a secondary bevel
you guys deserve 10x as many subs than you've got
