honestly making a live action ever after high would be a power move on Mattel's part. Because they could make it wayyy cuter and more aesthetic than Decedents. And all the old fans of ever after high who are older now would pay big money to see that.
The only problem is finding a hefty initial funding to make it actually look good bc it’s a fantasy world so it’s not easy to get sets and special effects looking good

It they did do a reboot I really hope they don’t change it to be popular girl vs rebel girl or making it the whole bad kid have to take down the whole school and good kids. the whole show was about them being different and wanting different things but still being friends and understanding each other’s perspectives and working together to try to help each other find a way to reach their goals.
I would prefer if they make it as a twist fairytale instead of making it into a classical cute fairytale like a dark fantasy twist it will be much better that’s me but I imagine ever after high as a teen drama a dark fantasy fairytale why not they cannot make into a musical because it will be so similar to the descendants but I do think that Disney descendants it’s a rip-off of Ever After High somehow?!

I think Ashlynns dress should represent her love for nature and animals. She loves animals, she loves taking walks in the woods, I think she’s also a vegan so again she loves animals and nature and her mother Cinderella (both in the Disney version and original fairytale) seems very kind especially towards animals and very nature loving and animals and nature are actually kinda a big part of her story
I think a few different versions of Cinderella have doves in them. I think the step sister cut off their toes and heels to fit the shoe but doves sing to the prince and point out the blood which guides him back to the house, and ultimately Cinderella. everything else about her outfit is really confusing tho
In fact, the birds are a very very important part of the Cinderella story, since they are her fairy godmother in the Brothers Grimm's version (most of the characters in Ever After High are based on classic versions of the stories and not on the disney versions)

For Cinderella daughter outfit I think the dress is kinda accurate. Cinderella’s dress was very poofy in the movie, she had puffed sleeves and a poofy hip swags (?) on her dress. Ashlynn has the same
Yeah I was expecting that the sleeves might gonna be like one of the original dresses, or maybe something else too, the skirt wings are similar, but they’re not historically accurate in the Disney movie. I like that they went with the shoes as a motif and the clock to represent her better though, I think it gives her more charm

One of the amazing things about EAH was how they based the characters on "OG" fairytales (even if it's really hard to determine an original version of this kind of stories :p) but they managed to keep some aspects of the Disney's storylines. This way, the audience wasn't confused (because almost everyone as the Disney version in mind for every fairytale they "remade") ; and they also avoided copyright issues with Disney.
Yeah it’s interesting that Disney has such a monopoly on stories that are not even originally their own, hopefully eah can still create new content even though Disney is making it super difficult with the descendants

Personally I think her (ashlynn) style is tied to Cinderella’s original style before the magic, which is soft cottage core/ nature. I guess Cinderella didn’t have a royal style other than the silver dress so I’m guessing that’s why she dresses like that.
I needed to just pause on Blondie Locks part, because I thought of something. I really like your videos. You're doing a lot of research for all those looks (although credits would be appreciated, not only for make up and bigger brands), I really like your way of thinking, like in terms of realism, practicality etc. and honestly I just like your taste. But I think of one thing, that would maybe help you explore your fashion interest and make those videos even more interesting. Because, you see, Blondie Locks was always a lolita for me. Lolita is a japenesse style with maaaany sub-categories (like royal lolita, classic lolita, country, hime etc.) and Blondie just do everything like lolita does, from full skirts to headpieces. So, as a suggestion, maybe try to make looks not only based of 'what look cool' but also 'what style could it be'. It would be just interesting and you and your watchers could explore a bit more in terms of fashion from all around the world. Nonetheless your videos are really good and I like to watch them. Honestly I'd like to have all those clothes myself XD

As a full on Ever After High lover (40+ dolls, manyyy accesories and having read and seen the books, episodes and movies) I find it so cool that there is finally some content about Ever After High. I have to say I found some plot mistakes, but haha nothing huge or groundbreaking. In other words: Love your video, hope they in the future make a remake

I think the dress for cinderella's daughter was a mix between the pink dress of cinderella which she was initially going to wear to the ball before the step sisters ripped it apart and the silver/blue gown she ends up wearing. You can tell by the top of cinderella's daughter where there are 2 lines coming down from the neckline to the waist just like cinderella's pink dress. Also the sleeves are pink and light blue yet again, mixing both dresses.
The reason Ashlyn’s outfit doesn’t look similar to what Cinderella wears is because the company that made the show isn’t Disney and because they are taking reference from the actual fairy tale book not how Disney designed her in the movie how Ashlyn looks is their own version of her.
I really want an Ever After High remix because that show was my childhood, but I think people who don’t know what EAH would bash it because it’s “copying Descendants” which would be so unfortunate 😭✋ Btw you styled it perfectly! I would love to see the cast wearing them if they ever do a remake!

As a full on Ever After High lover (40+ dolls, manyyy accesories and having read and seen the books, episodes and movies) I find it so cool that there is finally some content about Ever After High. I have to say I found some plot mistakes, but haha nothing huge or groundbreaking. In other words: Love your video, hope they in the future make a remake

I think if Monster High remake does well fiscally they might think of making an adaptation of EAH too, regardless of Disney stealing their ideas.

I think the dress for cinderella's daughter was a mix between the pink dress of cinderella which she was initially going to wear to the ball before the step sisters ripped it apart and the silver/blue gown she ends up wearing. You can tell by the top of cinderella's daughter where there are 2 lines coming down from the neckline to the waist just like cinderella's pink dress. Also the sleeves are pink and light blue yet again, mixing both dresses.
Ppl in the comments are also suggesting that it’s inspired by the original stories that came way before Disney too🧚🏻
The reason Ashlyn’s outfit doesn’t look similar to what Cinderella wears is because the company that made the show isn’t Disney and because they are taking reference from the actual fairy tale book not how Disney designed her in the movie how Ashlyn looks is their own version of her.

It would be cool to see the different outfits EAH and Monster high would have in the movie but sadly it's never gonna happen, tho i hope they bring EAH back and if they do i hope they continue making the movie.
it was cool finding out that the two highschools almost kinda live in the same universe or world as eachother in EAH i was very happy seeing cupid going into the portal into the EAH world and In the Boo york movie Elle Eedee (the robot) is on call with apple and raven and told them that monster high and all the places are real and when raven said "so it is real(or true) " it clicked in my head that EAH is aware of Monster high and the world but it was most likely looked as a story or myth so thats why raven was surprised abt the info including Elle.
As im typing this im very curious on how raven and apple (and maybe some others in EAH) met Elle Eedee. But since she's a space robot she most likely can go to many places

i loved this video great styling choices. i personly would have styled blondie locks in lolita fashion. witch i think is what her origanal design was baised on. lots of bow puffy skirts big hair. i also would have gone with a pink lip her make in the art and on alot of her dolls was relatively neutral at least for her lips.
