This one (and the entire CD) is, if you know what went into it, enough to make you cry. The guys from Double Trouble put out a message to the music industry that said "look at what we just lost. What do you have for us?" Charlie Sexton was the answer. This entire compilation was created from love of a good friend, and a superb musician. There is an undeclared reason these guys made only one album together, as a tribute to their fallen inspiration, and disbanded. Their lingering love was summed up by a strikingly pointed quote on the inside jacket: "Goodbye Stevie. We miss you."
What if? What if, we afford each other some Grace? What if we grow past the wounds? Step into what we truly are? Yes, Doyle, Charlie, I am calling out to you both. To step fully into your gifts that the ArcAngels so truly shined on us all.
Being borned and raised in Texas is a blessing in so many ways. Our southern rock artists are hands down the best! They all pretty much know one another as well. Always prayed Arc Angels would reunite and make more incredible music. I was and am happy to be right in the middle of it all. God Bless Texas and my favorite is Bobby Mack!!
Favorite CD for the Frio River. It played every day we were there. Folks would float by on the river and ask " Who is that?" Yep. Kinda like that. xoxo Can't wait for their San Antonio Concert !!!!!!!!!
You too huh?...I was a city boy and she was a country gal...high school romance...while it may have been destined for failure from the start boy did we get some tongues waggin' here in NZ. As Rod Stewart sings; 'The First Cut Is The Deepest'...
I was at this show it was outside at Stubb's the temperature is in the 40s and it was f****** raining and I saw every minute of the show. I would gladly catch pneumonia all over again to see these guys live one more time.
"Goodbye, Stevie. We miss you." This saved my life... the album followed me to this day 2022... and I cried many times , even to this day, and truly grateful for the music,,, and I know I will see them in concert soon... I always believed in you ... made my day,,, this song. XX Brilliant .. A magical form of communication... Amazing .. TOO TRUE XX
Yes indeed. Sometimes someone comes into your life and you wonder where that person, or persons, was for all those years. Sadly, even Angles can fall from grace but while they are here, among us, we LIVE like no other has before.
I got lucky and saw these guys play at a place called Gruene Hall during this set of shows that they did in 2009... it was about 15 years in the making and they blew the roof off that place.... I miss this band!
This album makes me just about cry, becasue I always think about why they got together to make it. Today a couple tracks sound dated, but mostly this album has held up really well. Whipper is going to be a local Hendrix tribute show this year, I hope I can make it.
Something special about the Arc Angels - infinite creativity between Doyle B II and Charlie and no better rhythm section out there than Double Trouble...hope you guys are working on something - can't wait to hear more!
Not religious... at all, but love me some Texas blues/rock. Wore their CD out... like this cut 'cuz Charlie's voice is so compelling ("Too Many Ways to Fall") and he's got some fine guitar chops.
I just bought it the other day and it arrived tonight. WELL worth the $30, TRUST ME!!! 1 DVD, 1 CD of that concert and 1 EP of 3 new songs, plus the Song Spanish Moon (which was the only song from the CD that wasn't on the original DVD concert, but IS on a sub chapter you can find from the main menu)
You either get it or you don’t. These guys got it and had, and continue to have, the talent to show it. Would love to see them reform and come down under - unlikely, but sometimes things happen !
They're such a good band. It's a shame that Charlie Sexton's second, third, and fourth solo albums didn't receive the attention that the first one had. His first wasn't terrible, but his work has gotten so much better.
SOY UN FAN DESDE SIEMPRE COMPRE EL DISCO CUANDO SALIO Y ES UNA GUIA COMO TAMBIEN UN DISCO DE CULTO Y CABEZERA , UN GRAN SALUDO DESDE BUENOS AIRES ARGENTINA.
Heaven . . . Could be the afterlife or the once-in-a-life lover, since many wrong turn loves were had . . . Always believed in you, too, sir, with patience, forgiveness and desire in my heart. Still do. Doyle and Charlie both sing from the soul with effortless sex appeal tonality and looks.. It turns me on, and I suspect most women are sighing watching these two heavenly hunks perform. 💕💕
It won't let me post the actual website, but do a google/bing/etc. search for arc angels official website/homepage and it will come up in a search. Then do the right thing and buy the DVD. Also has a history of the band interview of about a half an hour in length above and beyond what I already mentioned.
Smooth as silk...THE GOLD STANDARD.

Actually, it was mainly Bramhall's drug problem that was their demise.
liselle sloan So many artists experiment with mind altering substances. I honestly think it expands their perspective on life somehow.
@@mayemcdonald9111 It kills them mostly.

San Antonio @ The Aztec was amazing this Jan 20th , 2022. They rocked this song for sho. :)
Everything that Bramhall touches is gold, so underrated...
Arc Angels were the PERFECT band...good things are never meant to last. Like my first GF @15 yrs old
You too huh?...I was a city boy and she was a country gal...high school romance...while it may have been destined for failure from the start boy did we get some tongues waggin' here in NZ. As Rod Stewart sings; 'The First Cut Is The Deepest'...

What a band ! Very underrated by the music industry...
Very
The potential of this band was off the charts. It's a shame they couldn't have kept it going.
Wow! Why did I NEVER hear this band in the 90's???
C Schwebs So much has to do with radio play. They were very popular in western Canada. We heard them all the time while driving.
The album they put out is so good- great band...
What a shame they couldn't find a way to continue writing, recording and performing together. They were so good.
Some of the best inspirational lyrics and downright rock and roll guitar I've ever heard
Saudações Santa Catarina (antena rock web radio)🤘🕴
So very lucky to see these amazing guys in Dallas Tx,will never forget!♥️
I love Always Believed In You
POWERFUL blues 🤘🤘🙏
The drummer, Christopher Layton and bassist Tommy Shannon are Double Trouble from the Stevie Ray Vaughn band.

Charlie plays the solo on this
Awesome groove from a great band. Stevie looks down and smile, tapping his boot and jamming along with them.
Doyle jr turns the upside down Hendrix guitar right side up !!!!
Woohoo Shazam Jam 😎😵💫😁 when BAD is good !!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Juicy tones for days... Love these guys.
Not one other comment on tone , Doyle takes chances that work , melody and tone is what sticks . Both are choking the shit out of those guitars !!
Awesome video of Charlie and Doyle and band mates. Thank you...
Go Charlie..awesome! Give anything to come to one of your gigs. Love from Australia

This album makes me just about cry, becasue I always think about why they got together to make it. Today a couple tracks sound dated, but mostly this album has held up really well. Whipper is going to be a local Hendrix tribute show this year, I hope I can make it.
