This week, we tackle one of our most challenging hikes yet in the stunning Girraween National Park! 🥾 The breathtaking views and rugged trails push us to our limits, but nothing could prepare us for what happens next... 😳 The next day we get caught in a fierce hailstorm! 🌩️ Watch as we scramble to find cover and navigate this unexpected twist in our journey. It’s a wild ride when you're exploring a new area! We also set out to explore the Artesian Drive, but with everything closed, it becomes a little less than what we hoped for. 🚗💨 Join us for this rollercoaster of a week filled with adventure, challenge, and a few surprises 😮
I don’t think I have ever watched a video of yours that I haven’t enjoyed. You are such a great couple. My Mum was born in Texas so that was exciting for me…..thanks for taking me there. I may have missed it you have ever said it but what is the make and model of your van ? It has the perfect layout. Safe travels🦋
I'm definitely watching out of order. We were away on a 2 week's cruise so missed 3 weeks of videos. I'm playing catchup. I've been thinking about getting a 'follow me' drone. Are they that good? You've really got a great set-up with the goggle view drone too. The views were amazing. I've definitely got to watch that film. I do love Hugh. That hail storm was amazing. Definitely flash flood type. I can imagine, by this video, how the old wild west was back in the day. One horse town. You don't think of these places existing in this day and age. Love the Roos. It's a pity about the hot springs. You would think they would be open 24/7 especially in the outback. If you squint, you can make out the sphinx. Another great video. Thanks for sharing. I'd definitely legged it with that spider. Are they the ones that jump?
Thank you Chris the DJI Neo is really rather good as follow me drones go and they’re reasonably priced and fit in your pocket , films in 4 k and doesn’t need a controller they’re pre programmed with different shots and you can customise these to your specs on the app 🤩
Hey guys. What a great video this was. You fitted so much into one video and Pablo had input too even if it was a side eye because of the weather or a bark at the local dog. Those rock faces looked awesome and as dangerous as it was for you Sandy in that toilet, seeing a huntsman will have definitely helped move your bowel if you had any trouble before 😂😂
That Huntsman was lying in wait. I certainly wouldn't want one while I'm toileting! Gosh that hail, I'm so thankful it didn't do damage, especially those solar panels. That rock walk was epic, but not as much as the new drone shots 👌❤ Takes it to a whole new level and will certainly save some walking getting shots. Hopefully you did find some pools open, we'll find out next week. Safe travels precious folks and GOD bless
You’ve never heard nor seen a cicada before? That’s what came out of the hole after about 7 years, the nymph. They then crawl to something off the ground; usually a tree; crack open the shell, emerge, dry out then make a racket with many mates only to perish a few weeks later. PS Gundawindy is how you say it. 🤓 Also Mungin die for Mungindi.
I camped at the Thallon silo park earlier this year and the art was impressive at night as it was lit up and also it's the first thing the sun hits in the morning. Definitely worth an overnight stay.
I had no idea you had wineries up in Qld but it isn't the weirdest place to find a winery. Central Oz. Can't remember exactly where though. Somewhere between Alice and Katherine. Which is a fair stretch to be fair. 😂 Are you heading over to Lightning Ridge? There's an Artesian pool there that's been on my bucket list for yonks. You've definitely piqued my interest with the new drone. Apparently shoots 4K too. Now I have drone envy. Most excellent video again!
Thank you Shane 🤩🚐🙏yes wineries seem to pop up in the most unusual places 😀we did head to lightning ridge 😀yes the new drones have come leaps and bounds with their camera advancements 🤩

Great idea guys. I loved watching the hikes. Man, that’s was some hailstorm. Glad you are safe.
Thank you 🤩🙏🚐it was scary
Oh my goodness that storm. I would’ve been pretty anxious. Great video. Thank you
Thank you Karen 🤩🙏🚐yep we were definitely worried 🤩
Wow. Stunning scenery! Interesting how the storm can make you so uncomfortable, for sure!- Michelle
Thank you Michelle 🤩🚐it can be uncomfortable when you travel with your whole life onboard 😳😊
@@SandVan Agree, we are the same!

Wow thanks graham 🤩🙏🚐although we’ve constantly heard cicadas we’ve never seen one let alone the nymph 🤩fascinating hearing about it 😊
Catching up after an extra extra long weekend.
Thank you David 🤩🙏🚐
Fun vid guys. Yep hail aint good. Mungindi = Mung in die ;-) 😉
lol thank you Dave 🤩🚐🙏we rarely get the pronunciation correct 😂
@SandVan it's a NSW thing. Anything ending in di is die. 😉 you'll see a few going that way. I was brought up in Newcastle so....... 😉
That first trek was brilliant and the new drone looks great our friend had just bought one and looks so easy and quick yo deploy
Thank you stu 🤩🙏🚐the Neo is such an awesome addition it also fits in your pocket 😊
Fun adventures!
Thank you Deej 🤩🙏🚐
Hi Tim and Sandy
Hello Alan ❤👋🤩
I camped at the Thallon silo park earlier this year and the art was impressive at night as it was lit up and also it's the first thing the sun hits in the morning. Definitely worth an overnight stay.
Thank you 🤩🙏🚐yes it’s a lovely place , would stop over there if we’re that way again
Yes definitely a cicada
Sorry...definitely NOT a cicada...google...Giant Burrowing Cockroach..... ! THAT is what you were looking at. Glorious creature. !
Such a shame the pools were closed as you passed by. At least you had your apple pie LOL
Thank you 🤩🚐the apple pie was awesome, wish we bought more 😂
cheers
Thank you June 🤩🚐🙏
