    Lots of important info is missing, and its making the video biased towards purposeful hate. The PXN wheel is not only a rebrand, the designers of Madcatz transferred to pxn in 2018, then they redesigned the motor into a 3.2nm, and a new system chip, including a new manual setup. This is much more better change than the g923, which basically is a restock with the same 2.1nm motor but a different chip, and raised up price of $150 more. Pxn's action is more reasonable and respectable than logitech's.
    Anyways, the video was informative and nice to listen.

      @@onion8109the t300rs is quite literally $200 more than the pxn v10. For the lower price, the v10 doesn’t seem comparable to any other wheel on the market right now, expect the g920, or g29. But even those wheels are slightly more expensive. I have no clue where you’re looking, but on Amazon a pxn v10 is $250, which comes with the shifter as well. The t300rs is $435, not even including the shifter. This comparison is a shitty one, and feels biased. As if you just wanna shit on cheaper wheels to justify your shitty $500+ purchase, and poor financial decisions. No one’s saying the v10 will be the perfect wheel for everyone, but mindlessly shitting on it for no apparent reason is just retrded. I don’t have a v10 so I can’t 100% say if it’s good or bad here, but I genuinely think for the price being cheaper than any other wheel with higher torque than even the Logitech lower ends, even just having real force feedback at that price range is actually crazy considering there aren’t any other wheels doing it right now for that price.

    Despite being numbered after Resident Evil 2, the events of Resident Evil 3 for the most part happen BEFORE. Leon and Claire arrive in town on the 29th September 1998 and leave the following morning while Jill Valentine’s story starts on the morning of the 28th. When Jill finds Marvin in the west office of the Raccoon City Police Station he’s unconscious, not dead. Hence the reason he’s alive in Resident Evil 2.

    Idk. Ive been using PXN V9 before I upgraded to a G27. I liked it for what it is and especially in Asia Market, this V10 is almost cheaper than a used G29 as of current. It got me into sim racing
    Often times people are paying premium import taxes for sim rigs in Asia. So PXN wheels do serve a purpose at entry level markets.

      really seems like the Asian market is where PXN shines

  • @SIPEROTH
    @SIPEROTH ปีที่แล้ว +6

    It seems like an overall improvement from V9 since the petals are better, the shifter just as good or better and the wheel base and steering wheel is better as well.
    The only problem is that V9 was too much for 200 when T150 can be lower . It should have been 150 at most and this should be 200-220.
    Then it makes a little more sense. Also if you are releasing a wheel with a quick release you need to release some wheels. Writing this 5 months later from this video i still see nothing. Let's see if they will be anything by end of year.
    If they release some wheels and improve and fix their software along with a lower price then it might start looking more like a good proposition for low entry or for teens looking for a more cool wheel than some cheapo looking V9 or something.
    Buying your 14 year old this for just 220 so he can play in all his systems and giving him a few more cool steering wheels in the future so he can feel more of the fun it will be quite great than simply buying a permanent logitech for more than 300.

    I have both a DFGT and this PXN V10. I do think the V10 is better than the DFGT. The FFB feels just a little bit faster. The manual gear shifter is good, which the DFGT lacks. However, the V10 pedals are miles better than those of the DFGT. They are not even comparable.
    Does the V10 price worth its price? I'm not sure. I wanted to buy the pedals and gear shifter separately, but the seller refused, so I bought the whole thing together with the PXN wheel stand for about 320US$. I really miss ISR. God I can remember alway bugging those guys back in the day. “What’s better, the T500 or T300?” looking for my first wheel.
    I also like to go back and watch the old TWISR shows still. It’s a shame there’s been no replacement for that in sim racing. On most episodes they really put a lot of effort into the show as far as the detailed discussion on topics.
    Sometimes doing live reviews then talking about the product with each other and chat. Testing dlc and sharing thoughts while showing b roll of it. Unboxings, industry interviews, talking about announcements from the industry rather then just repeating the announcement and telling us to go look it up ourselves. Finally not wasting our time with pointless esports news.
    The reason why the SimPits daily show then weekly show failed is Shaun’s fixation on esports results. Nobody cares man. When he’d talked about it chat would be discussing a game or piece of content or hardware or just some random sh*t. Completely ignoring the esports topic that the host was talking about.
    When he did report the news he’d be so quick to move on to the next story he’d tell the audience “if you want more info look it up yourself”
    I know people didn’t like Darin but the death of that channel really sucked. It’s taken 10 independent channels to replace that one channel. No offense

      @Toutvids ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree completely. I used to watch those videos even when all I had was a cheap Logitech MOMO wheel and no money to buy a Thrustmaster setup.
      The production values and topics of discussion were much better than all these channels that just sit at their desk and talk to their monitor. They would bring up pros/cons graphics and give their final opinions at the end.
      I basically follow no one anymore, except Barry over at the garage. He is at least very thorough.
      One thing I can't stand is this over use of of inserted tv show clips in creators videos these days. It is jarring and childish. It is fine in a comedy channel but not for serious discussions. It is like the host can't keep your attention well enough by what they are doing and saying, so they resort to other people's content to make it interesting.

    • @Case_
      @Case_ ปีที่แล้ว

      You're quite literally commenting on a video by someone who does pretty good user oriented content with no childishness (mostly). Boosted Media is another channel that comes to mind that does very thorough and good content on all kinds of topics and hardware. And there's plenty of other simracing content creators like that.
      Also, speaking of Shaun at SimPit and his focus on esports...it's kinda funny to mention that in a comment thread talking about how ISR is missed, because a considerable portion of ISR's show was always dedicated to what would nowadays be called esports (except it wasn't back then).
      Let ISR be what it is - a thing of the past which definitely helped to build the foundations of today's simracing, but eventually became victim of the open toxicity of one of its founders - and don't get yourself stuck back there with them and instead of old man complains about how it was so much better back then and kids these days do nothing right, explore and be open to new things and concepts. To a large degree, this is purely a question of attitude. Back then ISR was pretty much the only YT show of its kind. Nowadays, there are dozens of similar content creators, and obviously they all have specific focus and approach.

      And by "the FFB clips very easily" you probably mean it doesn't have a very high torque (which has nothing to do with FFB clipping). And it certainly doesn't, but it's plenty to give you enough information about what the car is doing. And it's rather noisy, yes, but it's not unbearable either. And while the newer Logitech wheels starting with G27 are somewhat better (but not by much), G25 is possibly even worse in this regard.
      But really, you've got to manage the expectations. The DFGT is a perfectly usable wheel for anyone on a budget, warts and all. It's not ridiculously strong to rip your arms off, it's not whisper quiet, but you'll feel everything you're supposed to feel and can race with it just fine.

      Because they use Gear Drive tech. Depending the quality of the wheel, the tier list of Force Feedback tech goes something like this.
      #1: Direct Drive: 5Nm to 25Nm
      #2: Belt Drive: 3.5Nm to 8Nm
      #3: Gear Drive: 1Nm to 3.2Nm
      Pxn v10 is supposed to have the highest force feedback out of the entry level Gear Drive wheels. The cheaper entry level wheels have lower torque force feedback. That's why they are less expensive.
