- A New Year is upon us! Welcome back to another Prepar3D (P3D) v4 video using the brand new FSLabs (Flight Sim Labs) A321 which was released just recently.
In this video, we fly from Heathrow (EGLL) to Edinburgh (EGPH) as SHT8G (Shuttle - British Airways domestic flights) as I discover, for the first time, what it's like as a product. Some pretty questionable weather throughout the flight as "Storm Brendan" hit the UK right as I was filming this.
In terms of scenery, I'm also using the latest offering from Orbx with their entire TrueEarth scenery range for the UK - TrueEarth Great Britain (South/Central & North). As well as their FTX Scotland & Edinburgh scenery. Aerosoft provides us with the Heathrow scenery as always.

You were the reason so many of us got into flight sim. Although I always had that spark in aviation, you are the one who ignited the fire in me to pursue my dream. I’ll never forget the countless laughs you gave me from your funny moments. This is a hard hit for our relatively small aviation community, but a huge legend made his mark.
Well miss you Matt, you got me hooked into the community since I was 11 years old. Glad to have spent the last 9 years with you! Rest In Peace brother🕊️

Matt was a big help to me in learning the ins and outs of flight sim, I was an early projectfly user and a big supporter of his. I'm definitely saddened by the news of his passing this morning. Rest easy buddy. Hopefully his loved ones get to see some of these comments and how he's impacted so many people around the world. 🙏

For some reason your long haul flights in the 777 stand out the most. 12 or more hours, setting an alarm to wake up in the early morning hours to start the descent and approach while half awake. RIP used to watch these videos when I was 10/11 and it was crazy to me how you figured it all out. Im now 18 and training to be a pilot commerically and off to florida to do my flight training in a month. A large part of my inspiration and things that gave me the drive were watching these videos thinking they were the coolest thing ever. Its a shame nobody gets their flowers whilst they can still smell them, wish I commented sooner. 🥀

Its hard to say goodbye to a legend, I remember growing up I aspired to pursue flight in both real life and simulation because of you're videos and streams, rest easy my friend, you have moved many in a way that cant be spoken, you have influenced many to take part in dreams.
