Frédéric Chopin: Scherzo no. 1 in B minor, Op. 20 - Sandro Russo (05 Jan. 2021).
I'm currently revisiting the Chopin 4 Scherzi and thought in these times of "live-concert" deprivation to offer my listeners a more explicit view of the keyboard that is usually not so achievable in most recital halls!

Una Interpretazione meravigliosamente aspra e raffinata al tempo stesso, basata con grande sofisticazione più sulla forza accentuativa e propulsiva (dinamica) che sul volume puro.
Sublime il contrasto con l' ipnotica e trasfigurante parte centrale, qui tenuta comunque su un piano liricamente e positivamente effusivo...di estrema forza espressiva e grande evidenza circa le potenti innovazioni linguistiche la resa del finale.
Vivissimi Complimenti Maestro Russo, una performance eccelsa.
