First I would have made one or two OVAs with pieces of Royal, the night before Ren turns himself in Akechi arrives and turns himself in, Sae apologizes for the casino and Ren remembers the beginning of Royal with Violett. The story continues with the events of the new quarter with various flashbacks.. like the first meeting with Yoshizawa or her awakening or the meeting with Maruki.. I would also change the final scene Ren goes to say goodbye to Sumire who is leaving the city and the taxi driver Maruki accompanies him, when he arrives at the station she gets on the train, turns around suddenly and kisses him, Ren then gets on the subway and once he sits down, he seems to see Akechi pass by and then he sees himself reflected as Joker
