This means bigger pool of possible minion, which makes it very unlikely. 8 costs: 1/51 7 costs: 1/80 6 costs: 1/122 5 costs: 2/185 4 costs: 4/229 And long as we are at it: 3 costs: 6/242 2 costs: 20/198 1 costs: 39/113 0 cost is meaningless since you can't go to 0 with it. 4 to 8 would be one in 46 million

The first game was certainly a clown fiesta. First MCT being his typical bullcrap card, and the Shudderwock becoming Jaraxxus. This is why we love the start of an expansion, is always fun to see how new cards interact.
probably recogniezes that its not a demon. Health dont changes because what Jaraxxus do is cap your life total in 15. Hagatha dont chances your life total so she cant undame that change.
Ok so in wild, Thaurisan makes Malygos Shaman possible. I mean, think about it!! You got Totemic Smash, Lightning Bolt, and Frost Shock. All 1 mana. Use the Spirit of the Frog with Zap other good 0 mana spells and maybe even Beakered Lightning to draw the 1 mana spells. Then you Electra Stormsurge into Eureka to get double Malygos and hopefully you used Thaurisan to discount at least 2 of your combo pieces so you can play 3 of those 1 mana direct damage spells for the win!!
Maybe I don't understand hearthstone anymore, but this seems like a subpar combo. You already have a high cost minion you played all the evolutions on, and you already have the frog which is 6. I guess the idea is that for the rest of the game you can play something and evolve it a bunch, but I feel like you could be doing more powerful stuff than playing a random 10 cost minion sans battlecry each turn.
I don't think the strenght lies in how strong the induvidual play is, but rather how many of them you can make. Sure, playing a random 8-10 cost minion (sans battlecry) isn't super strong, but doing that every turn while your opponent is losing steam is strong.
@@HumanZombie99 But in a meta full of Malygos, Togwaggle, Hadronox, Dr Boom, Hagatha, Shudderwock, Mechathun, etc. this kind of slow long game just doesn't work. This seems solid against aggro because you always have early game plays which transitions into late game plays. But if you want to crush aggro and generate value in the late game Hadronox would probably be better.
Well you can also evolve in to rush minions. Also there's a lot of potential for easy value. For instance you can play Zentimo and evolve the middle of 3 minions and it will evolve 3 at once for the cost of 1 evolve. The real objective it to play minions that have high costs but get situational reduced costs and then evolve them. Like the new rastakhan 7 cost taunt minion that gets reduced based on enemy minions or creeper. Evolve shaman used to be a very effective top tier deck. Before the giggling nerf I played it constantly and had above a 63% wr rank 10 to 1. If you can flood the board and get a bunch of evolves off or even better Thrall (don't know why he doesn't have Thrall in his deck) you can have a board that goes from nothing to unbeatable. Frankly his deck just isn't that great. He needs more flood minions like voltaic burst, thunderhead etc. Also you can fill board with 1/1 minions doing that and then "storm bringer" and evolve them all to legendaries and use remaining mana to evolve the legends you don't like. Big turns like that are just very hard to deal with and you never know when the shaman will do it so you often can't go face until you clear the board because even that 1/1 minion can end up being a big threat. Playing against an evolve shaman is unpredictable which also adds to the challenge. Most people have constructed decks memorized and know what to expect every turn but with evolve shaman you just don't know. Also the new big bad voodoo spell is basically a 2 mana 8+ cost minion if used properly and further adds value to the deck.
Some interesting interactions I noticed during the game against the Shudderwock deck: 1. After playing Jaraxus, Shudderwock will have that battlecry & destroy itself, killing the combo 2. Evolving into Nozdormu while the fuse was lit then evolving Nozdormu removed the fuse, perhaps giving more time than a regular turn, & left the dust cloud effect from Noz over the field

You need doplegangster trump it synergises with zentimo super well and for 6 mana you can get 3 6 drops it's insane. Also the frog totem, thrall and the legendary spell that turns every minion into legandaries is great with evolve/unstable decks. A little trick I use is the giant worm that spawns 7 1-1s I then use the spell that destroys and resumons it then I play the legandary portal for a board of legandaries for just 9 mana.
My idea for frog is round 9 lightning bolt face, lightning bolt face, frost shock, frost shock. Round ten krag, lightning bolt, lightning bolt Hopefully you can have a spell damage totem and/or spell damage units played on 9 also
Could you not just... Eureka out Malygos and Lightning Bolt > Lightning Bolt > Totemic Smash > Totemic Smash and just do 30 damage to face on turn 10? Then, Krag after if your opponent had armor or something...

The one thing I don't get is why the obcession to get more then 2/3 unstable evolutions. The whole point seems to rush out really powerful cards; yet I felt in the second game it didn't go anywhere because he was stalling out for that "Optimal value". I don't get it. If anything else it allows one to play more greedy and short term, that way you get at least 3 new oppertunes to max it. Looks like a crazy fun deck though.

I think zentimo is the only risk, seeing as both kragwa and especially hagatha are great includes in most other shaman decks, and look that thatll be the case for future expansions. I'm gonna wait a while to see if I unpack one of them by chance, then craft the other two

Hey comment section, I wanna build a fun deck and this looks funny/competitive. Is it worth all the legendaries it requires or not?
I think zentimo is the only risk, seeing as both kragwa and especially hagatha are great includes in most other shaman decks, and look that thatll be the case for future expansions.
I'm gonna wait a while to see if I unpack one of them by chance, then craft the other two
