Salary Of a Specialist Doctor | Hospitalist In USA | Doc Ali Vlog
In America specialists and consultants normally pay 35% to 40% tax on their annual income which includes Federal tax, state tax, social security, health insurance, retirement benefits etc...
Means they take your money back 😂 and other taxes if included your monthly income is gonna be 6-7 Thousands dollars.
@@mubeenwali7806 Well it depends on how much you are making and which area you are living. If you are making $300K in the East coast or west coast then you are probably gonna pay 40% tax (including all other deductions) on your income and your take home salary will be around $15K per month
Well done 💯❤❤❤ Doc...

Doc Ali please tries to pass correct info towards people who are watching your videos and one more thing whoever the doctor you invite for an interview always try to ask them about the exact tax deductions. There is no way her take home salary is $20K per month if she is making $300K a year in New Hampshire..
Let me explain this to you.
In New Hampshire, there is no state income tax on earned income, including salaries. However, you will still have to pay federal income tax, FICA (Social Security and Medicare) taxes, and other potential deductions such as retirement contributions, health insurance premiums, and any other pre-tax deductions. Here is a general breakdown of the estimated take-home pay if she is making $300K a year:
Annual Income: $300,000
Federal Income Tax (based on 2022 rates):
Federal Income Tax (25.7% approx.): $77,149
Social Security (6.2% up to $147,000, then 0%): $18,540 approx.
Medicare (1.45%): $4,350 approx.
Other deductions (varies based on individual circumstances): Variable
Hence total tax deductions are around 33% approx.
Based on these rough estimates, her take home pay after tax deductions could be around $201,000 annually.
Now divide this total after tax income by 12 months and you will get around $16,750 per month.
I know it because I am a doctor and working as a Hospitalist in Texas USA.
You are right. Normally attending physicians or consultants pay 35% to 40% tax on their annual income in the US. My brother in law is attending anesthesiologist in NYC and he pays almost 40% tax on his annual income.
Thankyou brother,
I neend to ask that if I join electives at American Hospital Dubai ( present in Dubai ) , the electives certificate/LOR of this hospital acceptable in USA during my match ???
Orr i have to join Electives at USA only ?
@@KhanBabajan-lf3bqBro I am not sure about Dubai so I advise you to check from their management. According to my knowledge electives/LOR must be done in the US for match process.
@@AliTariqMD Thats still a lot of money to take home plus the benefits that you will get after retirement
