My family originally settled in the US from Germany (before WWII). Unfortunately fluency in the language has been lost in two generations. I would love to be able to teach our kiddos German, so that we can regain some of our cultural ties.

It's not letting me post my own comment ! There is no comment box 🤔 but if you see this I would do spanish. My oldest would say Portuguese. We are a mixed family and my husband speaks Spanish and I don't so it makes sense to teach my kids Spanish. Lol idk a little background for you

We love the Biggest Story series! We started with the ABC book when my son was two (he is now 6) and he started memorizing it because we read it so many times. We then bought the Biggest Story book, and my son loved it so much he asked for the audiobook, which is great for the car! :)

I would choose Spanish. My kids are bilingual-ish. I’ve spoken Spanish to them since birth but for some reason they picked up English. Would love to make Spanish learning fun for them.

My daughter is an only child and we live in a community where approximately 1/2 the children's population are Latinos, so the Spanish Homeschool Language box would be a big blessing to our family.

I grew up with Spanish being my first language but my siblings born after me did not learn to speak Spanish. My husband was never taught Spanish so it’s important we tech our children and hopefully continue learning together.
My grandparents didn’t teach their kids Spanish out of fear that their kids would be discriminated against like they were. So my mom didn’t learn Spanish well into adulthood after having kids. I'd love to incorporate Spanish this coming year & learn along with my kids. ❤
Oh my gosh. My husband’s late grandfather spoke English with a super thick accent but refused to teach the kids Spanish for the same reason. I don’t know how they understood him to be honest. My husband has been learning Spanish for 8 years now and not fluent. He has to use HR to translate for him. We want the kids to hear Spanish because it is everywhere in Chicagoland.

@@lifewithginabI think that was how they assimilated in the states to be honest. I wish the new incomers were more like that mindset but not give up their mother language. My husband had to hire a hatian translate recently. (Creole). It was expensive and frustrating. In the states you should be able to speak your language but also learn the native languages.
This was my experience with my mom too! We want to learn Spanish!

The Imagination Station books are inspired by the Adventures in Odyssey Christian radio drama. Can't say enough good things about Adventures in Odyssey! It always encourages me in my faith while also being entertaining for my boys. It's become our tradition to listen to it during lunch and it's such a fun time together.

I'd love a Spanish box. We start homeschooling my child next year along with her cousin and that's the language they agreed on. We're also in Texas so it's a practical language to learn.

The Spanish box would be so helpful to teach my kids. My husband is from Honduras and his mom speaks very little English. When my kids were younger they felt more confident in speaking Spanish to her and though they understand most of what she says, they don't want to speak it back. This would give structure to their language learning and help build confidence in speaking it
My 4th grader LOVES The Wild Robot!! He has read all 3 of them several times. He didn't know the 3rd book existed and we gave it to him for Christmas - it was his favorite gift! He was so excited!! I hope your son loves it, too. :)

Great haul Gina! Thank you for sharing. I would love to teach my children spanish. My family comes from Spain and Mexico. I dream of taking my children to both countries and exploring where we are from. Our goal is to first learn the language ❤ For some reason my grandparents never taught my mother so it wasnt spoken much to me.
I learned from my great grandmother when I was young but sadly never continued soeaking it.

I have 7 kids. The ones who are in school have been wanting to learn both Spanish and sign language, though I haven’t been sure which would be the best resource to use. I’m excited for your review on this particular resource!

So exciting! I have a rising 3rd grader, a kindergartener, and a two year old toddler. My husband’s side of the family speaks Spanish but we don’t but I would love to have the kiddos learn. So, we would definitely choose Spanish! ❤️

I was SO EXCITED for the activity books! I’ve been searching for and printing off printables for my 6 year old to do while I do science with my 4th and 6th graders. I bought the Botany PDF right away and I was thrilled to see there is one for Geology and for Birds as we are planning on doing those units next year.

So glad to see Homeschool Languages getting more recognition! When I found it a couple months back, I ordered it immediately! We are on week 9! Never heard of this company for languages. I would want to win Spanish, as I think right now this would be most beneficial as my kids grow up! We use The Good and the Beautiful for LA and Math, and have used them for science at times as well as history. Love them all, but we will be changing history and possibly science. Love the unit study concept for the whole family though!!! And the younger science books are so cute!!! I want them all....but will have to pick and choose as my youngest will be in K next year.
