You're THE reference. Period. ... I even point my viewers towards your channel for these types of tutorials. I hope you have continued success in 2024.
This is definitely a complicated watch and I’m so grateful that you made this video. I thought I had a good understanding of the watch, but your tutorial video has made me realize the watch is capable of so much more. I have learnt so much from this so I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to make this and educate us. I have never spent 600 GDP on a G-Shock before (managed to haggle the shop assistant to take 100 off and even still I’d be embarrassed to tell anyone how much I paid for it). I went for the green model and I think its one of the most stunning watches I’ve owned, and I currently own a Omega Speedmaster and a couple of Tags which is a brand I went off years ago, but I might have a look at there recent watches but they seem to be overpriced. Anyway, this watch has many functions, but the real magic is how this watch looks and feels. I was so impressed with the chunky, solid and hefty feel. This is definitely one of Casio’s best made watches. I wear it for fashion and I also wear when I’m up in the mountains. I would encourage anyone to go and just pick one of these and try it on. I went to look at one and just had to buy it there and then. The price still doesn’t sit right with me seeing as its just as expensive as my lovely Tissot PRX automatic, but after seeing your video and learning more and more about this watch the more I see why the price is high. Many thanks bro and apologies for the super long comment. 😅
@@tennbones Anyone who has a taste for G-Shocks will find this one extra special as soon as they see it in the flesh. Then after picking it up most G fans will fall in love. It just feels and looks top quality and even though it’s a big watch it’s comfortable thanks to those wings under the strap that wraps around the wrist. I’d never go bigger than a 42mm watch such as my Speedaster, but with G-Shocks there’s an exception. It has a really nice weight to it, but again it doesn’t feel it when on the wrist and feels so balanced. I hope you’re enjoying yours bro? What colour did you go for and have you had any issues?
@@ph1lo I have the green model and love it. You are right, when you pick it up the first time it feels like pure quality. I love the accompanying app as well. If there was ever a watch the Terminator would wear this is it lol. Those sharp bezel lines with the angles and shapes give it the toughest look I have ever seen. No issues here! It is amazing, a beast.
It is a really nice watch. I have mine since a few days. I wondered, why doesn't the left scale (over-8-6-4-2-0...under) show anything when not in barometer-mode? Does the watch have to stay in barometer mode all the time so that the latest changes in pressure are shown? When in time mode, by pressing DISP, it can show a barometric graph, but the little scale seems to be useless, am I right? Do you know that? Can it be set up, so the left scale is actually always showing the barometric change, too, but all the time, not only when in barometer mode?
Hello, I just got my very own Casio G-Shock Mudmaster, your tutorial was so clear with the set up instructions, your video made it easy for me. Thank you.😊
Thank you so much. That's very informative. Actually, I did something cool with my watch. I set the location point to the Qibla. Muslims use this to know the direction they should face when they pray.
Fantasitic resource. I just got this watch in the new Emergency Colours, but so far the Casio ID registration site has been down for two weeks so I can't pair it with the phone. Using this video and manual settings has helped so much!
Thank you for the video! I always save your videos instead of reading the manual. I also think the find your phone feature within the receive mode is awesome and I hope that you can put it in your next video!
Another great thing about using the Bluetooth connection is that the watch gets updated with any new software. Like if they ever implement in the Countdown Timer more than 60 minutes including seconds, etc. Instead of having to buy a new watch. Somewhat future proof. I don’t understand why people think Bluetooth connecting is a bad thing. If you don’t like it, turn it off. Instead of dismissing this watch as some sort of problem.
I’d buy it instantly as every day watch (home/office/chillout) if it would feature phone notifications while for hikes and sport I’d use GPR-H1000. Quite pity but I’m now too used to notifications on wrist and comfort of having my phone in silent mode all the time.
This is by far my favorite looking mudmaster and one of my favorite looking G-Shocks ever. Sadly i don’t think my 6.75” wrist can pull it off. I really wish Casio would make smaller versions like how the older generation Frogman was much smaller than the newer ones like the GWF-D1000.
Thank you for all of your awesome videos! Although I like stand-alone watch functionality without connectivity, I believe that this could be quite useful. Thank you for pointing out the advantages. sometimes technology does make things better!❤
This mudmaster is easily one of the nicest in my opinion. However, the dial has too much things that can confuse my blurry eyes unless I use my reading glasses. I guess I have to stick with my less busy GWN-1000B-1BJF Gulfmaster. Damn! This mudmaster sure is pretty!
