- This is not Morgan Freeman - A Deepfake Singularity
Concept and deepfake by Bob de Jong
Freeman's voice is imitated by the incredibly talented Boet Schouwink
A homage to the great actor.

Why does this feel like an epic and kinda cliffhanger ending to a sci-fi movie?
Cause the op picked the right track for it. "If you're listening to this, you are the resistance, and the battle has just begun."
Steady progressive beat with piano in the background and a killer quote to punctuate. You got urself an open ending leading to a sequel.
I'm Optimus prime
This is much stranger than a movie, this is reality.
And this is just the intro.

@@turbomunch not familiar with the name. But I fail to see how the use of deep fakes or lack there of in that specific company is any indication of it being a possible risk of cybersecurity.
@@firebirdchild975 Oh... It's cyber security now 🤤
@@turbomunch yes I have worked for the Drio Rotterdam from mid 2021 until the start of this year due to my assignment ending. Deep fakes are used by cybercriminals to impersonate people online. This might seem minor at first but can do quite a lot of damage if used correctly like having a deep fake of a celebrity make a racist statement and sharing it online the damage to that individual can be very serious turn that celebrity into a political figure and turn that racist statement into treats to another country and you have a International incident on your hands on smaller scales you could use it to mimic someone's voice combine that with some purchase able privet info from the dark web and you can do some messed up stuff.
This is absolutely terrifying. I genuinely fear for our future.
That's a weird and dumb thing to say as you are literally writing it on the internet. Everything that happens is because humanity as a whole collective gets here by consent, we are the ones who buy there technology and free willingly choose to live in there matrix world.

Has anyone tried deepfaking a face over a CGI model?

What I fear about videos like this is that it will be all too easy to incriminate an innocent person by making their fake videos and showing them as doing something illegal
It’s your fault that you fail to help lawfully end the existence of police and the rest of government. You can’t think of any good reason to support their existence in the first place, since there is nothing they do for anyone that couldn’t be done by the Private Sector (which would follow the "treat others as you'd like to be treated" rule of life) and funded by voluntary donors instead of stealing money from people and calling it “taxes”. If you continue to support the existence of police and prisons and the rest of government, you fail at proving yourself to be a good person.
Take some responsibility and learn how to live in harmony with Natural Law.
The opposite is also true. It would become almost impossible to prove someone committed a crime based on video evidence alone, because anyone could claim that it was AI generated footage.
@@dappernarwhal2177you guys do realize you need perfectly clear footage for this? All convincing deepfakes are literal movie/photography quality faces. You will have the fakest looking garbage otherwise. It’s like detecting bad photoshop it’s not hard. You cannot deepfake a potato quality cctv video it will be obvious it’s fake.
You need the right kind of high quality footage of the face in multiple angles or it won’t work.
You will be deep faked for crimes if you belong to a certain political party, religion, etc.
If the video was made by profesioanlists specializing in creating extremely realistic deepfakes it would be so real that an average person would have no power to prove its fake... That kind of people dont have this sort of knowledge of technology and what to do to defend themselves. They would be an extremely easy target. Imagine there is this crime group that is creating extremely well made deepfakes and they are making cosmic amount of money of browbeating innocent people.

@@tobediscontinued1795 You cant list out. But any person who's had enough human interactions can tell there's something slightly off. But visually, it's as close as it gets
I see it in the movement of the mouth. It has a slightly automatic look as he is talking. It doesn't look as naturally fluid as it would be in real life. The picture is almost too perfectly clear as if it's been touched up or in 4K HD.
No, this isnt fooling anyone. The movement is fake and the voice is laughably bad.
I remember watching that anime called dead land wonder land when they could fake videos and nullify someone's action to look like they did nothing or the opposite add something you didn't attempt. I didn't believe it would be possible for such a technology to be real but now it feels its within reach. This will do more harm than good without doubt.

There are still a few flaws such as character movement and voice temperament that is not like Morgan. Someone who is actually trying to be like Morgan would be terrifying.

In this case the unnatural mouth movement (resembling a video game character) is a sure giveaway, but it will maybe improve in the future.

OK, well, it was a good run, humanity. It's clear, however, that we've created our own demise.
Imagine how long this technology has been being used already. People “caught” on camera!
Imagine in the future police are using videos like this in court to claim you "confessed" to a crime. They're not quite that level of quality yet but they'll get there.

Een making of zou geweldig zijn!
At least. I can have an AI Morgan Freeman to narrate my life when I die
00:18 Listen, this all sounds cool... But the fact is the human eyes have no X-ray vision or smth that will help them see the undercover, but a tiny little surface of something. So reality is you are covered with Morgan Freeman face in REALITY, but it doesn't make you Morgan Freeman.
Lmao…
You may be able to differentiate this from the real deal now, but just remember, these are only the initial stages of this technology.
Looks cool but i can tell you that there are some anomalies that are happening that will give clues to it being fake. His eyes frequently point random ways like a chameleon and when his facial expressions change instead of the skin moving and going into the expression, it sort of morphs into the next expression almost like a wipe on a video transition.
of couse it's not that good. the point is that the day where it is good isn't too far off
Also his eye colour was wrong. Real Morgan has gray rings around his eyes.
Seem like hell has finds its way to blend in by faking itself among others.
Looks very real at first glance! But bear in mind they did have to film a live actor speaking a script, so it isn’t (yet) true that he isn’t really a human being and solely an avatar. Watch closely and you’ll see some lip movements that don’t quite match the speech, and listen carefully and you’ll hear small breaks in the AI speech synthesis.
With little effort I could rip this video, separate the audio, and then synch up all the words to lip motions, word by word
Those imperfections will be gone in a few years, if not sooner.
If I was casually watching this video I couldn't tell
Now make it read the Lord of the rings trilogy.
It's pretty impressive, but if you pay attention to this like any other video, you can still see the difference. We aren't there yet.
Also, you don't need advanced hardware or expensive hardware for it. That's myth.
It only takes a long time to get it right, but once the software gets it right, you can make
a thousand of these within a month.
So when you train it enough you don't have to train it again for another application?
What software do you use? I’ve never seen CGI facial movements this good. Most CGI eyes look dead and you can tell it’s fake.
@@kconrad5893 Lol.. its a deepfake.. so not pure cgi animation.. uses real video data to train the ai models.. A perfect (or near perfect) replika if you will..

Gets worse now that the images and sounds can be beamed OUTSIDE of screens or phones, directly into your personal senses. They can cause "schizophrenic" episodes in people, then it's all recorded on street camera.
Psychiatrists are not allowed to let you go without a diagnosis, and some states "have to" commit you, if they see such behaviors. If "intelligence" liaisons wanted you out, they could cause such a reaction, have it filmed, then use admitting you into inpatient care, against your will, as "protocol" for taking your power of attorney from you and your family.
They're boiling you frogs so slowly you aren't intelligent enough to even feel it.

The CIA writes scripts for hollywood and do you really think now that this tech is available for the public, governments that have billion/trillion dollar black projects were incapable of doing this x amount of years ago? Frankly if this makes you start asking some questions that's a good thing.

Constant lies and misguidance have been gong on since government was invented!!! But yeah, imagine they deepfake you robbing a store, killing a person, oh joy the future is seemingly so amazing....
The fact that this is 3 years old and the only issue is the voice which will get better with more voice clips and all that is kinda terrifying to say the least.
Damn... Good job!
3yrs later, we don't even need the voice actor. In fact we don't even need the scriptwriter or video composer. Just the channel.
Echt ongelofelijk goed gedaan! Impressed!
This one looks a bit slightly flat when he turns his head, and there was a lip synch error, otherwise a perfect replica.
He also turns his head a bit too often and a bit too much than is normal for neurotypical humans.
Its very impressive and very close, and yet still completely distinguishable from the real thing - for now.
Now remove 4k, remove black background, add something brighter. Don’t make the texture so dense.
