This definitely looks like what the blue comet would have been like if it was owned by the New York central! Obviously this is a gorgeous, almost one-of-a-kind item and it would’ve been awesome if we got to see something like this alongside the 400E or perhaps as a successor to it. I must say that I never thought I would see a model steam locomotive of a Hudson looking like the blue comet.
This is incredible. It would have been nice when MTH-Lionel Corporation was building standard gauge above and beyond just re-issuing prewar items. This Hudson could have been mass produced. It's beautiful.
