  • I love words... and my game reflects that. I'm firmly of the belief that what you say DOES matter and I want to teach you how to have the right tools to have the right things to say. Hopefully you find these guidelines and tips at least a fraction as useful as I have.

@Brexit Monger you're looking at it the wrong way, everything can be broken down to its science in theory, how you translate it to practice is you make it seem like you never studied it by making it look natural.

@Brexit Monger Maybe in your experience. I've personally witnessed people that had virtually zero social skills blossom. Sometimes knowing certain steps or viewing social skills in a different way IN ADDITION to practice helpful. Just consulting your "handy notebook" isn't helpful without the work

@Brexit Monger I know your just judging the lifestyle more than Todd himself, but for the record, Todd does have a wife and a kid. As I understand, they are in an open relationship, and occasionally indulge in three ways with a guest partner, in addition to Todd gaming on the side for pleasure and business. This is further elaborated on in Todd's "Relationship Manifesto" found on his TH-cam channel.
Honestly, it seems like a pretty happy way to live as long as you know yourself, manage your attention, and find a person who is satisfied with the lifestyle as much as you are.

@Brexit Monger what the hell are you even doing on a pick up channel? You obviously have no idea how you can transform from a antisocial weeb to an actual alpha male
It is possible with practice, repetition and science to explain why certain things work and dont work
      There is science in everything.
      There is a book called
"How to win friends and influence people".. that in it self can be broken down into science

Quick notes for myself and others:
    1) Assume the burden (90%/10%) and be willing to talk.
    - Come with the intention to give a good experience and have great sex (win-win). Study and appreciate language on your own time.
    2) Tell a good story:
situation, interruption, change. Develop bullet points, have great specific details.
    3) Humor.
-Go beyond the obvious and observe the nonverbals.
-Emphasize different words in the same sentences. Learn the setup and punch, and 3 point rule and etc.
-Learn how to exaggerate well by taking something mundane, take it to a new direction. -Improv format is to observe something unsual, justify it and if this is true, then this must be true. *Important* Have high value humor. Do not self depreciate yourself humor.
-Develop alpha male humor. *Also important* You don't have to be hilarious. It's more important to be interesting and high value than funny and low value. Use humor with escalation.
-How you deliver and what the context is helps dictate this. With a smile and sarcasm, you can disqualify her.
    4) Flirting. Tools of the trade:
    - It's an attitude you use that is playful. Without serious intentions.
    - Physical flirting is following attitude first, technique second (just like verbal flirting)
    - PUSH PULL = I love you, I hate you. Negative first, positive next and vice versa. "You have a nice shirt, you must be trying to impress someone."
    - Cold read and exaggerating = Look at their reaction with the open. Justify it and work with it.
    - Misinterpretation: Treating something mundane and taking it sexual.
Exercise: Sex with me is like.....
    - FRAME: Control how the interaction will be treated as or the purpose of the conversation as. Set it up at the beginning where it's not boring. Make it playful and not make it logical or boring. Continue to play with the idea that she is trying to seduce you or you are trying to have it fun and you're sick of girls hitting on you.
    - Presuppositions: Assuming things that are true. Make that interaction you want.
    - Plotlines: Creating general drama during the entire interaction. Tension and drama.
    5) Practice. Attitude: light hearted, fun, and trying new things. Be playful. Love words and find the richness in language.

It's ok if he charges there is nothing wrong in it. He's worked 10+ years to learn this knowledge. Unfortunately when a lot of people get something for free they do not value what they get. Also they fail to take action. But if pay for something you feel the pinch. But again if your someone who takes action regularly this is great stuff.

    Summary:
    Assuming the burden
-you need to be willing to talk 90% if she's not yet interested
-flirting is like a lawn mower
-decide to make the conversation happen, push through 20 seconds even when it's awkward
    --short term --(energy and will)
--long term -- (material, pattern, delivery)
    Proactivity of frame
-desire for outcome is necessary (good outcome) -- get to the point don't just talk about anything, it's like a carsman talks not about cars but his family, hobbies etc.
(The good outcome needs to be for both of you)
-random conversations lead to random results = poor results
    -appreciate language
Everytime you hear quotes, jokes, phrases write them down
    - study stand up comedy (write down lines)
    Point is the principle
    Part 2
    Storytelling and "Being interesting"
-show high value and create comfort to have sex with her
    It's a paradox
But storytelling is good for both things
    Structure of a story:
    Situation -> interruption -> change
    -don't just communicate facts
-a one-minute story can be told in ten or vice versa
-there need to be some bullet point to let the story exist
    -just remember the bullet points
    The secret's in the specific!
-add specifics to little things (hamburger example)
----- book: zen and the art of motorcyle maintenance
    20:05
-you have to have depth in story to really communicate (emotional specific)
-imagine yourself in the story you're telling
-Improv Comdey is great for learning specifying
-make it real as you play it
    Part 3: humor
-don't brag in your story, you don't need to look good in story, the story will make you look good
    -lead through your story
    - take opportunities when they come (walking past eachother story (100% perfect girl story)
-for a story to be good, you need to like the story yourself!
    Penetrate the Ostensible
-be aware of multiple meanings (what are you doing for a living? -teacher -are you sure?), Words, phrases, intonations
    -don't treat conversation as literal
    Specific formats
    -setup/punch
Creating a pattern and surprise is the joke
    -Rule of 3
3 creates a good pattern, that you can destroy later
    -callback humor
    -impressions
    Etc.
-when you hear something funny understand what was funny and appreciate it
    What's exaggeration
    -just exaggerate
    Improv Format
-when do a scene, firdt should be normal
1.look out for the first unusual thing
    -observe what's happening
-you always get information, use it
    2. Justify
-interepret something into the thing you observed
    3. If this is true what else is true
    -you don't have to be
hilarious in game (it seems tryhard), just need to havr a more interesting than normal conversation
    -try to be interesting
    High value Humor
-self-deprecating humor defeats the man purpose of game, it'll work against you
    -don't become the clown
    Humor and escalation
-you can get away with (almost) everything if it's funny
    Part 4: Flirting
How to differentiate between high and low value humor:
    -delivery and past circumstance
(If she could believe your not self confidence, don't make jokes like: yeah, i'm a bit boring)
-create tension but bad tension needs to be lessened
    Flirt ~ definition:
To court *triflingly* or act *amorously*, *without serious intentions*; play atlove; coquet.
    -have a flirty tone
-try rephrasing stuff in a flirty kind of way
    -touch can be relevant
    Flirting is an attitude first
    -the keyword is *playful*
    Push-pull
-you're sitting in a tensed way, seems like you're focused, thats cool
    > If it's positive make it negative and the other way around
    Cold read and exaggerate
-- firdt thing to say: hey; hey excuse me
    +UCB improv exercise
    > Interpret things into the behavior when saying hi
    Misinterpretation
-sex with me is like exercise
    Frame > Technique
    - frame: excuse me, I saw you look over and wanted to help you get over your shyness
-needs to be playful, out of the ordinary
    -get out of the boring
-just ideas, you can approach normally
Frame = the thing that controls the meaning: i'm trying to pick you up; you're trying to pick me up; I'm over girls, convince me, that i shouldn't be; etc. etc.
=Idea of the purpose of the conversation
    Presuppositions
-what are you assuming is true (do you find yourself attractice, try to assume something wrong and she needs to convince you)
    Plotlines
    -gives tension
-adds spice and let's you get into right direction
Like: "why are you so cute, I'm trying to resist women"
    !!!!Practice!!!!
Without all these informations are to much
    Practice one after a time
    Have fun, be light harded
Love words more and try to play with them

    - Flirting is an attitude first (keyword Playful)
    - Push Pull (I Love you, I hate you), also works via Bodylanguage . Creating a Rollercoaster of Emotions, while giving subtle signs of interest
    - Notice subtle things (Physical apperance, Clothing/Accessories, Body Language, Actions of her (weak handshake) and playfully exaggerate them or assume other traits etc. of her based on that
    - Cold Read/ Assumptions of her Personality or what she does (hobbies, job etc)
    - purposeful misinterpretations and sexual innuendos (when possible in a sexual way [you can find the sexual in almost everything])
-- having a flirty Frame (going in with an interesting/funny/non-serious Frame to play) [a bad/lame frame example: "Im trying to pick you up - a better frame : " You are trying to pick me up"]

It is. As opposed to math or science, social competency has the universal potential to improve your standing.
Sure, some people can take advantage of their understanding of math and science to become successful, but most people can’t.
The thing about our educational system that people need to understand is that it’s goal is NOT to make more successful happy individuals, it’s to manufacture employees.
If everyone had skills to make their own way in a social world there wouldn’t be nearly enough desperate marks to con.

    - In short term just pure energy and will at the moment
    - story has 3 elements 1. Situation 2. Interruption 3. Outcome make sure your story have tension and drama
When telling story get into specifics, include what was there, what you were wearing etc specifics make it come alive
If your not living the story as you are telling it's gonna be flat

5:00 I believe they meant "All outcomes are good."
10:57 Storytelling definitely is not the most important in game. Stories are neither about the girl nor about your (possible future) interaction with her.
12:53 Omg that applies to TTRPG! Or, more likely applies along it. Being good at one makes you better at the other! (Ofc that's not all there is to Game/TTRPG, otherwise GMs would easily pick up girls, and PUAs would run D&D like pros.)
24:03 How to use storytelling in Game.
25:34 "100% Perfect Girl" may be a good story, but it seems like too much of a downer for energetic nights.
    30:35 Underlying meanings in speech.
33:33 IMO Humor is not something you can learn studying. Go out. Talk. Joke. That's how you will learn what works with which types of people.
40:34 DON'T TRY TO BE HILARIOUS. TRY TO BE INTERESTING, AND FUNNY BY THE WAY!
41:52 Avoid self-deprecative humor, unless it is obvious (and she is certain) that you are just joking.
    46:21 Influencing tension with humor.
    49:09 Basically flirting.
54:32 Frame. The thing Todd is big on. Do not act like the situation is "I'm trying to pick you up" but something more interesting, and giving you more value.
