- Let me share a few updates I've made with this project. Maybe you can use some of these techniques in your own 3D printing projects.

I tore a tendon in my right hand and am awaiting the results of what must be done to fix it.
I'm a big time gamer on PC and PS4/5. I'm looking at this now for the months it will take to heal up.

Hoping you release the version at the end of the video, anyways, I just want to say I've been printing these for awhile and giving them away for free. If anyone wants one contact me an just pay shipping and tell me which controller adapter you would want. I have resin and filament machines. My cousin was shot in the head years ago during a robbery, he loved games before that day, he woke up almost completely paralyzed with only use of his right arm and able to move his head, he struggled with playing any games, I made it my mission to figure out how to make him one he could use, ive soldered custom controllers and stuff for switches so he can use it. As always, elegant design and a fun presentation! I don't know if it can be incorporated in to the "one handed controller project", but it'd be neat to improve on controllers in general, to achieve the same ease of use and precision, as with a mouse, when aiming. No simple task, because otherwise controllers would've been improved long time ago, but I think it is an interesting problem.

The last concept where the buttons are triggers seems like the best design. A similar design built for left hand Xbox controller would be amazing!
Hey! I recently lost my left arm in a bad hit and run accident. I’ve been a gamer since I got hands with the game boy and PlayStation 2. I’m 22 years old. Your work is absolutely amazing and could possibly allow me to play video games again. How can I get a right handed controller?
I would love to buy the shoulder button attachment if you make it for ps5. It looks like a great design. Would help alot since im used to feel of the ben heck one handed controller.

Do you by chance need testers? I would be willing to help you out, I'm a brachial plexus injury survivor and can't really use my right arm and my hand kind of but I can't extend my fingers yet so I'm doing a lot of things left-handed. So I would happily try this out for you or give you money I don't know but I miss video games a lot and this was very much help me get back into it.

@Akaki Kuumeri, I bought the assembled one from the Akaki website, Left handed for the PS5 and the quality of it is shit at the best, its like the edges of the buttons are missing, and the R1 trigger gets jammed in and is none usable, and either is the O button, please help )=

I would like to know how I can get one for my son, he is 12 years old and he has a commemorative tumor due to the tumor affecting his left side, he loves to play video games but due to the lack of mobility he can no longer. I wanted to get an adapter for it.

Cool, thank you for this update. I bought one from you via your shop and in Marvel Spiderman It keeps on triggering the touch pad button and bringing up the map. Any suggestions on how I can change mine to not do that? Also any thoughts on the PlayStation accessibility controller Project Leonardo?
Push the bottom piece all the way in until it clicks. It can hit the touchpad if it isn't seated all the way in.
Project Leonardo looks great, but I hope they add in more than 4 external button ports - there should be one for each input.

Is there a way to press in on the thumbstick for the games that make the player press the thumbstick to switch from walking and running?
The paddle that looks like an ice cream spoon is just for that. I forgot to mention that!
@@AkakiKuumeri Thank you for this info. I got one of the previous PS4 models for a family member who can only use one arm. They were having fun being able to play games again. Looking forward to trying out a new version for them and giving it to them if it comes out.

Hello people, I need help hahaha, I ordered the control as a gift for someone but the pieces that help to press the buttons are a bit hard and don't turn easily, I don't know if you could help me to know if there isn't a way to make them a little less hard when turning, for your attention thanks:D
If they don't loosen up by moving them around, I recommend a dollop of vaseline around the shaft.

That’s a good idea. They’re printed face down so the backside is ripe for adding some sort of slot feature. Now, how to make the naked button heads such that they look good without the decorations, yet they can be slotted in..
@@AkakiKuumeri What if you make the symbols on the button paddles holes instead of indents, and let the custom buttons snap in and out of those holes?
