I think this is a Renaissance in the way mankind is experiencing his reality and what he values. Nfts have the potential to impact people positively through earning income and emerging ourselves in a new perspective of how we view life. Let's hope we don't get too detached from reality and the issues at hand.
If someone was wanting to start to break into the industry of architecture for virtual homes what software would you be using, what videos should I be watching, Etc. Ive been having this thought for the 5 months and I really want to dive in. I downloaded sketch up for free but Im not sure if that software will be able to transition into a meta verse. How does one even go about doing that?
This is super new to me but once you make an NFT say you go through a process on illustrator. Even after you have minted it what is there to stop you from replicating that if you have the original files?

I really liked how you took the positive and negatives of NFT ,I believe token mining is at an initial stage where the energy consumption is too high And as Chris precht stated "it leaves an ecological guilt " So imo it depends on your priority as an architect making money or ecological contribution (with both being right)
Yeah this is something I discussed with Krista in our full interview as well. She compared it to cars which started as gas guzzlers and today the technology has led us to tesla. So yeah hopefully it will get better for the environment soon.

Hi, I have a question. What programms can be used to make houses for the metaverse? like, for reality I use autocad, revit, sketchup, etc. but can these also be used to design in virtual reality? and how do you PUT IT there (in the metaverse)? thanks!
From my understanding, it is an NFT which means, it can be made with anything including a sketch on a napkin. As an architect, we also sell ideas and experience so how do you wanna sell your idea and the experience?. long story short. the VR experience is best FOR METAVERSE so Create it in SketchUp or Revit and use IRIS OR ENSCApE TO create VR experience AND then market it on any NFT platform like an NFT. Until they ask for the real-life plan, the VR experience is what we're really selling here. Hope that helps.

Making it digitally centralised could be the conventional solution, it reduces energy consumption and still allows NFTs and other possibilities to exist, just their record isn't saved in several computers.
Great video until he gets to the "blockchains are not good for the environment because computers use too much energy". Nonsense; we are already capable of producing renewable energy. Maybe we should ban cars, airplanes and dishwashers because they use too much power ?

It’s not really keeping track of the transactions that consumes most power, it’s the mining of new blocks to keep those transactions on (adding a block to the chain) that is so energy intensive. Ethereum is actually moving away from mining in the future which will drastically reduce the energy consumption of using NFTs among other things. Potentially even making it more efficient than traditional banking systems as I understand it.
