I actually worked with a guy who had this kind of mentality. Nothing was ever his fault. He had a dysfunctional type of personality that caused things to go wrong in his life, so these things actually were his fault. His vehicle was damaged at work, through no fault of his or our employer. They informed him of the steps he needed to go through to resolve the problem. Like, talk to his insurance company and try to contact the other driver's insurance company. Also, victim's compensation if applicable, since the wreck occurred while the other driver was involved in a crime/ police pursuit. He had so many options, but did nothing except complain because our employer "wouldn't take care of it." They tried to work with him but he wouldn't cooperate. He was still complaining about it years later. He finally lost his position when he went off on another employee, and it got out of hand. Edit: Not "our employer" actually, but our client, because we were contractors working on the site.
Not the same scenario but reminds me of when i worked at a sporting goods store eons ago: Some guy bought football gloves, left for an hour, then came back with the just the receipt asking for a refund. I asked where the gloves were and he said they were stolen in the food court while he was eating. He was indignant that I wouldn't "make it right". I told him to go get a "refund" from the guy who robbed him.
I have a similar situation. A lady purchased a candle from our store. She left and came back several hours later, and the glass was shattered. She said she dropped it in the parking lot, and she wanted me to give her a new one. (You can’t make this crap up!). She said she wasn’t coming back! (Fine…take your dishonesty elsewhere!). 😂😂😂
I used to work at Walmart. An older man came in with an older, but still sold model, very well used coffee pot. You could tell that it had been used without ever being cleaned for at least several months. It had the normal cup that only drips when the pot's lid is up against it. That lid was missing, and he was claiming that it was missing when he bought it, and that's why he needed a refund. I denied the refund, he wanted a manager, the manager approved the refund, so I made the manager complete the refund. I'm not being held responsible for that level of ridiculousness. And that is exactly why people pull these stunts.
@@martibee8984I would have been so pissed at that a$s kissing manager and depending on how long I had been working there and needed the job I might have told them they may as well bend over and pull down their pants lol and then walked out.
Fun fact: your license does not belong to you. It is a legal document of the state, issued to you and kept in your possession. Lot of people don't get the distinction.
That you have to pay for. I realize driving is a priviledge and not a right...but it's kindof messed up to have to have something in your possession(that you don't own)...and you have to pay to get it, keep it, and if you lose it for whatever reason you have to pay again. It's bs...
Woah!! 😢 So Ricky got charged for hitting a vehicle. He got his license revoked for some reason and vehicle was towed? He’s got to be altered to think the PD owes him. This is sad
"Do I need to hire an attorney or a lawyer and sue this place" Yes dummy, even with no valid case what so ever or chance of winning, that's what you should've done.
Look, there’s a simple answer to this. He feels wronged by the police department, he can indeed hire a lawyer and sue. And the judge will find that the police have no case to answer, dismiss the case and leave Ricky to pay for his license to be reinstated. Just tell him that and go about your day!
But why does he even blame the cops? He was drunk and hit an uninsured parked car then lost his license. Cops don’t pull your license the court does. Even if the car had been insured he’s still at fault so what on earth do the police have to do with this?? 🤔 Poor Ricky has a weak brain.
I mean ... my issue with the video is that a person has a right to protest government agencies and officials under the 1st Amendment. He's not obstructing the entrance. He's not harassing workers off-duty as individual citizens. He's vocalizing a wrong he believes was committed. You and I can think it's dumb all day but that's still his right as much as the right to keep and bare arms. He's not anywhere that can be construed as interfering (at least in this video).
@@nsahandler I know what you’re saying but I’m not sure how much of a nuisance he was being. @@polarbear4612they don't get to arrest you because they think you've "waited too long" "said it more than they wanted you to" so THEY'VE decided you're a nuisance. They are public servants & this was an illegal arrest.
So you don't have the 100 dollars to pay to reinstate your license, but you can pay for a lawyer to fight a case for 100 dollars? Why is being this stupid legal?
He hit an uninsured vehicle and lost his car and license. Sounds like he was at fault or his insurance would have handled it (if he had enough coverage) and he wouldn't have lost his license. Even if he was NOT at fault for the collision, it is still his fault for not having surficient uninsured motorist coverage so the insurer could STILL help him. But his license wouldn't have been suspended if he wasn't at fault. So at no level does his ramblings make any sense. And a reinstatement fee isn't a big deal. You can easily panhandle $100 in three days. He has had 6 years. If he found a nickel every day for those six years he would have over $100. You can easily find five cents discarded on the ground every day if you look hard enough.
ROFL. No it's the ultimate douche move. The ultimate Ricky has no education, no job, is lucky he can speak about 5-year-old level, and contributes no value to society... Oopps that IS an self claimed "alpha". Real alphas are not asswipes / trash - they're business owners, volunteers, etc., etc., etc. who treat others with respect & contribute value.
The $100 is for the DMV to reinstate his driver’s license which was suspended when he recklessly drove (drunk?) into a parked car-which he also blames. 🙄 So now, Ricky will likely have to pay the court a fee for this totally avoidable offense.
I'd bet 100$ on he's fatherless (lacking discipline and responsibility). I'd also guess some mental health issues and loneliness that causes him to ruminate/fixate on a seemingly minute detail for an extended period of time. The society he inhabit seem to be a intrinsically tragic when his issues are not addressed.
Tried my best to understand it but the guy's voice, attitude, and senseless logic nearly drove me crazy: This guy was drunk and crashed his vehicle into a parked car that was uninsured. His license was suspended and his vehicle towed. The man claims that the police should return his license because he can't pay to get it reinstated. He also claims that the police should pay for the fee for the towing of the vehicle. He logic was that he can pay the police to do things, it's their turn to pay him.
If he's on public property why would he be arrested for pleading his case? Despite being annoying I can't see why he would go to jail. They had to figure out charges after putting him and handcuffs. That's a bit backwards.
So, according to Ricky's logic, when I was a drug addict 20 years ago, it was the polices fault that I committed retail theft because they didn't catch the dealer who sold me the drugs?
From what I can piece together. He was driving his car, hit a parked vehicle. Said vehicle he hit was uninsured, though that’s irrelevant to this. He was found at fault, cause duh, he hit a parked car that wasn’t moving. Maybe he was drunk, maybe not. He was either already suspended, or hot suspended from the crash. So lost his license. His car was towed, either because it was too damaged to drive and couldn’t be left out in the road, or because he was arrested for being DWI. Fast forward 6 years. Because the police towed his car, and took his license. He believes they should foot the bill to get his license reinstated, and his car back. Even though after 6 years, the wrecker company definitely took ownership of that car and sold it for scrap or pennies years ago.
@@rickkcir2151 Thank you got putting that together. That makes perfect sense, in its way. Now why he would think anyone but himself is at fault is something that's only in his mind.
I work in complaints and I deal with people like this all the time. Some people get fixated on being 'wronged', and they believe they're owed something. People like this take up valuable time that could be used helping others.

Not at all. They'll arrest you just for being there if they don't like you. But it's unlawful. He wasn't being disorderly and even if he was the officer can't be the complainant on a disorderly charge.
@@Libertaro-i2u no it isn't. You can sit around in the police department lobby all day long. You can't be legally trespassed from public unless you're committing a crime. What they do is make up a crime that they know probably won't stick in court but gives them wiggle room to not have consequences because it's partially based on interpretation. Disorderly conduct is one of those. They just arrested him to make the problem go away and give him financial consequences by making him go to jail and court and possibly miss work and get fired. They know they will never face consequences for illegally arresting him. It's just a bullying tactic they use to keep their victims in line.

Yes.

Tried my best to understand it but the guy's voice, attitude, and senseless logic nearly drove me crazy:
This guy was drunk and crashed his vehicle into a parked car that was uninsured. His license was suspended and his vehicle towed. I have a feeling that to 'ol Ricky here, not much is ever his fault
Legend has it that still to this day, I have no idea what Ricky was talking about or what he wants.
His car was sold auction 5 years ago.
